This unit is beautiful and big!

We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers and the set up was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything. It was very clean. Huge balcony with ocean views. Great pool and jacuzzi we got to enjoy each day as well as a nice gym and saunas in each bathroom! The main suites bed was sooo comfortable. Had the best nights sleeps. I even snapped a pic of the sheets to buy them for my home! The host Victor was fantastic and texted us the day of arrival to get our eta and was there waiting when we got there to welcome us! We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was amazing!

Victor was fantastic! Texted us to get our ETA and was right out front upon arrival. He got us into the unit and showed us around the beautiful condo at 1800 Atlantic. He even had a key lime pie in the fridge for us! It was super clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. We left today and Victor texted me that we had forgotten some clothes so he’s sending to us tomorrow. Highly recommended Last Key and Victor!!

Relaxing

Quiet, relaxing stay with all amenities for a good time. Love the pool area and the ocean view. Parking for large vehicle can be an issue but still very worth the stay. We will definitely stay again.

Thank you victor and Last Key Realty for the amazing place!  So glad I googled the name of the location I saw on the air bnb website and found you guys!  Got the same place cheaper and with amazing one on one concierge service! Thank you Charlie for printing the passes that I had in my email.    The place was above and beyond, welcoming and had everything we needed: beach towels, chairs, coolers and sand toys.  The Key Lime pie was delicious and saved us from searching for one.  Can’t wait for our next vacation with you guys!

Great family vacation

The place was clean and well taken care of. Getting into was easy and everything was texted so it was on hand for arrival. They even surprised us with some treats. Pool was nice but the beach at the condo was not great, however there is one short walk away. Walking to the main shopping and restaurants was doable but about a 45 min walk in the heat isn't for everyone. Ubers were fast and cheap.

Quiet, Clean, Nice

Condo was in a quiet location, clean, and sufficient size for our family. Pool and small beach area was perfect and chairs and umbrellas always available. Communication with the property manager was great! Clear directions on access and check out. We would stay at this location again.

Perfect spot for some senior gals getaway weekend

The pool and associated areas and garden were lovely. Kitchen well stocked. Lots of bath and beach towels. Though we didn’t use, there were beach chairs, tennis equipment for 4 and other assorted beach toys. The building was very secure which meant we were dealing with codes, clickers and keys but quickly got into the rhythm. Definitely felt safe. TVs in both bedrooms and main living room. The master bath was bigger than a NYC studio! The pictures are true to the place but the living space feels bigger in person. Would recommend.

Everything you need... and more!

Everything was perfect. The suite was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed… and more. The property - pool, sauna, hot tub, etc. were well cared for a a real treat. Location is perfect. We didn’t want too stay amongst the bustle of Duval St, but enjoyed the ~2 mile walk there and back. Proximity to beach was as described… just a few minutes walk away.

Just Awesome

Thanks for the lovely trip

Great spot with pretty views and just a short ride into town. Check-in was easy, home was clean and well stocked and all appliances worked as expected. Last Key was easy to work with and our host, Victor, was quick to respond and was very proactive with instructions for accessing the property. Check out was also a breeze. 100% Catered and Cared For!

My friends and I stayed at a property in Key West FL managed by Last Key Realty, Inc. Must admit: their service is awesome, A+!!! From the time we rented the property till we checked out, we were catered to a 100%. The instructions provided to us were simple and clear.

 

Our guest services coordinator Victor checked in with us before and after checkout, and then each day of our stay to ensure we were doing well or didn't need anything.

 

They provide FREE concierge service to all their clients. I had a question about golf cart rental so I texted Victor; within seconds he texted us back and connected us to concierge who provided all the details we needed.

 

The property itself was very clean, well managed, up to date, with no shortage of anything basically. I would totally recommend working with this company and staying at their rentals. You won't be disappointed with their professionalism! Too bad they only manage properties in Key West otherwise I would be renting from them more often.

 

Also, avoid Airbnb & VRBO, and just book with them directly. You will get a better rate! (a lesson learned)

Quiet & Relaxing

Close to Duval St and the action of Key West, but far away removed that it was quiet and relaxing. Great pool, very clean, and was nice they gave us a key lime pie. Victor, the property manager, and Charlie, the concierge, were both wonderful to work with.

Beautiful condo with everything you could need for a great stay! Very convenient to  other attractions yet very peaceful. Appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and baths! Even better than we'd hoped!

Our condo was even nicer than what I had expected! Very spacious and comfortable. Definitely a nice quiet place to get away but close enough to the hustle and bustle of downtown Key West. Absolutely Fabulous

The "Follow the Sun Condo" was fabulous.  My family and I really enjoyed ourselves.  Almost everything you need is provided.  We sat on the balcony and looked out at the ocean.  At night the view was spectacular.  There was more than enough space for the 4 of us.  Now let me talk about Victor.  Where do I begin.  He's a jewel and  Last Key Realty is lucky to have an agent like him. From the beginning he was there to help us.  From getting in the building to checking out of the building Victor was right there.  If I text him a question,  before I could put my phone down Victor had sent the answer (and this was after what I would call working hours). It's so hard to find someone that takes that much pride in their job and care for their clients.  We were there for our Son's wedding.  It was a bit stressful but because we didn't have to concern ourselves with the lodging situation It made it a lot better.  Thank you Last Key Realty, but especially Thank you Victor.

Everything you're looking for!

Highly Recommend!

Our stay at Follow The Sun was exactly as advertised. Short walk (less than 5min) in one direction was Smathers Beach, short bike ride (less than 5 min) in the other direction was Higgs beach. Pool was perfect, plenty of lounge chairs, condo had all the basic essentials, beach towels, coolers, cookie supplies, everything you’d need! Would highly recommend staying here and am even contemplating renting it again for next year!!

Clean, gorgeous condo

Condo is as shown, clean and well-stocked for a family of 6. We enjoyed the patio for breakfast in the morning and to simply relax. Extra touches such as pool noodles, beach toys, a small cooler, and snacks made the stay a little nicer. There is a view of the waterfront, although, I must warn that there is no swim access and the water carried a foul smell so we wouldn't have even if we could. The Key West beaches were disappointing. I wouldn't recommend coming to Key West for beaches. Go to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, or Riviera Beach instead! Otherwise, enjoy your stay! We enjoyed ours! If we ever travel back, we would stay here again!

Absolute A+

I only have all praises for this property, the location, cleanliness, booking, and checking-in process. The price was pretty reasonable considering the economy right now. I was given all instructions for the check-in, parking, payments, etc in a timely manner with images by the Last Key Realty staff! They were super friendly and available on text or call. The only thing that took us by surprise was the parking garage height. The car rental agency gave us Nissan Armada and we were literally an inch away from the exposed pipes in the garage ceiling. They did have outdoor parking but once we made it into the garage the 1st time, we were ok. We didn't use any of the in house facilities but saw plenty of people enjoying the pool and outdoor grills. The beach view was clear from the living room and I loved that both the bedrooms had access to the balcony. The house provided with everything from spices, coffee, hand soaps, paper towels, beach towels, boogie boards, cooler, etc. Beach was right outside the main gate and the city was on the opposite end so didn't have too much traffic or noise.

Great size condo & quite comfortable

The condo was very clean, a great size and very comfortable. The pool area was very nice and having the beach area in front was a bonus. We rented bikes and went into town each day… about a 17-20 minute ride. It was good to be a little removed from the noise of Duval. We will stay here again.

A Truly Perfect Trip

An absolutely perfect place to stay in Key West. My friends and I bicycled everywhere and it was doable from this location. So many amenities - we wanted for nothing. Beds were really comfortable. Spacious rooms and nicely furnished. Plenty of storage for clothes with dressers and closets. Beach chairs, blankets and noodles for beach and pool fun. Kitchen was great for breakfast in and the deck overlooking the pool and ocean was a real treat. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Key West.

Wonderful Condo!

The unit we stayed in was updated with new bathrooms, etc. Rooms were very spacious, unit was particularly clean, convenient to downtown but not in all the hustle and bustle of Duval St.

 

Loved the huge double bathroom concept in the master bedroom and the option of having twin beds or pushing them together for a king in 2nd bedroom (all asked before your arrival).  And a nice long balcony with view of the ocean.

 

Plus there is garage parking with an allocated spot and outdoor guest parking for a second car. Unit was very secure with keys to outside access doors and a remote for the garage door. Recommend it highly and would even go back.

 

OH and we even had goodies from Last Key Realty who manages the property - a cake, nuts, purse size hand sanitizer, etc. GOOD JOB everyone!!

Everything You Could Want & Need

Everything from the booking process through the ending of our stay was seamless and effortless. The place is kept up extremely well. Laura, who was our guest coordinator was sweet and resourceful. The location and amenities are all you can want and ask for. It’s far enough from downtown where you can sleep and rest peacefully yet close enough to where you can rent a scooter, a golf cart and be downtown in less than 5 min. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our time.

A Step Above the Rest

Excellent property

This was a great place to stay, especially for our first time in Key West. It is situated right on the beach, and although it doesn't have direct beach access, you can easily walk there in 1 - 2 minutes. The property caliber was matched by the responsiveness and professionalism of the hosts. They are simply amazing. I will definitely stay again on my next visit.

Amazing hospitality & ocean view

This was such a beautiful place to stay! My parents were also impressed and they're already talking about making it a yearly trip for our family. It was so relaxing to wake up and be able to see the ocean each morning and the decor and cleanliness were top notch. We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony in the mornings and we could see sunset from there each evening. It was so nice to be able to relax and cook our own meals when we wanted to, and you can't beat the beach access right from the condos. Can't wait to return!

Love Key West

Weather latter half of week not ideal but still had a great time exploring. Our condo was ideally set up in the kitchen and we love this location. Got some biking in. I got some bug bites the first night outside on the balcony - no see Ums I suspect - no problems inside the condo - we will come back.

Great Location!

Condo was perfect for a group of 6. The layout was exactly what we needed. Also, we wanted to be close to Smather's beach and this is literally less than a 5 min walk away. It was nice to be a little away from Duval St. and also very easy via Lyft to get downtown. Will stay here again!

Lovely condo on the beach, grounds were immaculate, great pool area. The condo was very well appointed, clean and everything labeled. If there could be one thing to point out it would be the hallway and stairways, a bit dorm like, clean but lacking character.

Just Perfect

 

We were a family of four with a 3 year old and 7 year old. The condo is modern, spacious, clean, comfortable, and provided everything we needed. We asked Laura, the property manager, to change the two twin beds in the second bedroom into a king for my 7 year old and it was perfect for him. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need from salt, pepper, other spices, coffee, coffee mate, sugar; keurig, all pots/pans, toaster. Everything! We had a fresh key lime pie waiting for us in the fridge and it was delicious! The condo had plenty of bath towels and beach/pool towels for all of us. There were even beach toys, 4 noodles, and 2 boogie boards. Unfortunately, we didn't use the beach toys and the boogie boards because there was so much seaweed on the beach, but that is not the fault of the condo and the property manager. The pool is amazing and very large so you never felt like it was crowded because everyone had a spot to play in. Also, the entire condo complex is very secure with a gate to enter the underground parking garage to your reserved parking space. This is nice because your car is never sitting out in the hot sun. The entire complex is very secure with locked entrances to the pool area and the elevators. There is a nice fitness room with two elliptical machines, one treadmill, one bicycle and a weight machine. All in all, the unit was great and there isn't anything I would change about it. We had an amazing time in Key West.

Perfect!
Had never been to Key West before so did a bit of research before settling on a condo, and in this location. Unit and property just as advertised. On the ocean, with a big pool, great view......and a wonderful swimming beach less than two minute walk and everything you need is right there. Pretty much sums up the property....is that everything you need (or could want) is right there. Seemingly very quiet on the south side of the island, but still very close to everything. I would suggest that it is not within walking distance of much other than the lovely beach next door....unless you are a real walker. But bikes and scooters are the way to go anyway and are plentiful and cheap to rent compared to other "resort" areas. And fun!. I wanted for nothing at this property and would happily end up at 1800 Atlantic again....and I will be back. Laura Mayesing from Last Key was so on top of things from the very first call, and happily took calls while I there if I had questions about where to go and why.....I had a "local" friend on the island before I even got there ;). Good times were had by all! A+A+A+!

Absolutely loved it!
This review is a bit late, but we enjoyed this unit (Follow the Sun at 1800 Atlantic Blvd) so much I still wanted to leave a review. We were met by our Last Key Realty host, Laura Mayesing, who showed us around this very clean, very well stocked and tastefully furnished 2 bedroom condo. Kudos to both Laura and Last Key; this is a fine rental property. Good location by the sea, nice view from the large balcony of the ocean. Very quiet and relaxing, if that's what you're looking for, but just a few minutes away from downtown by Uber or Lyft. There is a parking spot in the garage included if you need it, but I think having a car in Key West is more of a pain than it's worth. The unit came equipped with just about everything you would expect. The kitchen was well stocked and equipped. There was Keurig machine and a Mr Coffee with filters, a 4 slice toaster, a blender and all sorts of other gadgets. When we told Laura that the only thing we couldn't find was a slow cooker, she offered to go out and pick one up for the unit. We told her not to bother, but that shows the level of service that stands behind the unit. They are very accommodating! I would absolutely rent this unit again. It's not cheap, but it's always nice when you actually get what you pay for. Worth the money!

Wouldn't hesitate to return!!

Two daughters and I just returned from a terrific stay in a lovely 2br condo at 1800 Atlantic Ave in Key West. With excellent directions prior to arrival, we were met by Laura who was incredibly gracious and thorough in orienting us to the unit and to all that Key West has to offer. We were celebrating our 50th and 75th birthdays and were greeted with a bottle of champagne and fabulous cupcakes (with candles). The condo was immaculate, well equipped and spotless. Except for the somewhat cooler than normal weather, our stay was wonderful and Laura was incredibly helpful, very accessible and super friendly.

We were extremely pleased with our stay

January 13-18, 2019 at Follow The Sun in 1800 Atlantic

Laura Mayesing was an amazing guest services coordinator. Laura was in touch with us before, during and after our visit. The building is older, but the condo itself is incredibly spacious with updated bathrooms and kitchen. Kitchen is generously stocked with all the cooking equipment one could need. Condo is very clean with plenty of linens, beach towels, tennis racquets, beach chairs and toys. Full size washer and dryer is a big plus. Large deck with ocean views. Only downside was a loud air conditioner compressor that could be heard from the deck - we became used to it. The ocean front building is very well maintained with a large heated pool with lap swim lanes, hot tub, library, fitness room (ellipticals, bike, treadmill, weight machine). Wonderful ocean views with sandy area. The very nice public swimming beach is a 5 minute walk from the building. Lovely tennis facility on the property with free use of the courts (including a clay court). The building is conveniently located and only a few minutes bike ride into old town. Last Key Realty concierge services arranged for us to have rental bikes for the week. They were quality bikes with lights to allow for safe riding at night. We will absolutely come back to Key West and will use Last Key Realty again!

Lovely condo with all the amenities

From the moment we arrived and our property host welcomed us, to the easiest check out ever. We can't say enough about our stay. Beautiful condo, stocked with everything we needed. Loved our stay at this beautiful condo

We loved our week here! We came in late in the evening and James the security guard was there to greet us. He showed us the condo and all the complex had to offer. When we entered the condo, it did not disappoint! Super clean, very roomy, comfy couches in the living room. The bedrooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were great as well. The kitchen had everything we needed. Best of all was the view from the balcony! Beautiful. The complex has a very nice pool as well and is located in a quieter part of town which we really enjoyed. We rented scooters and the condo came with a covered parking space which was very convenient. Last Key Realty was very accommodating and made our stay so enjoyable. Shannon answered every question we had and accommodated every request we made. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing property! Very clean and excellent views of the ocean

Our family enjoyed this 2 bedroom condo on the beach. The large patio was great and we utilized the kitchen, cooking breakfast every day. Shannon was fantastic and provided excellent personnel service! Upon arrival Shannon texted us, making sure we were happy! Once entering the room Shannon had a special chalkboard welcoming us to Key West and some special drinks, our groceries that we pre-ordered were placed inside the frig. Perfect beachside getaway!!!

We had an amazing time at follow the sun on key west. The condo is fantastic, beautiful inside and the complex is well kept Our hostess Shannon was amazing, was here to greet us and answer any questions and even took a few minutes to sneak in and decorate and leave a bottle of champagne on ice after I let her know I would be proposing to my new fiance while we were put at dry tortuga national park for the day. We would and absolutely will be back and wouldn't stay anywhere else next time Thanks Shannon and last key for a wonderful experience!!!

Paradise within paradise

This property was truly one the best vacation spots we've picked for our many family trips to the Keys. The apartment is spacious and incredibly welcoming for a family of four. I was happy every moment we spent there, whether it was family meals, relaxing on the huge balcony while enjoying ocean and palm views, swimming in the gigantic pool, or exploring the beach nearby. Beach shoes/water shoes recommended! The apartment is well-appointed with comfortable furniture and decorative touches. The gorgeous master bath shower is fantastic after a long day in the pool or at the beach. Garden lovers will feel blissful walking through the lush tropical landscape on the way to the pool, with orchids hanging from trees and whimsical garden art. We met other families, locals and tourists, and my boys had buddies to play with at the pool. Floating on a pool noodle, enjoying the warm air and ocean sounds... it is a memory I will cherish. I filmed a graceful crane hunting for its meal in the tall grass near the pool, while a cruise ship sailed in the distance. This is not the hustle and bustle of Duval St., but you're close enough to everything that you can have enjoyment of Key West and tranquility at your vacation apartment.

For families, we recommend getting a fresh coconut drink on Smathers Beach, brunch at Banana Cafe, casual dinner at Sloppy Joe's with live bands (kids allowed until 9pm), the Cat Man and other performers at the Sunset Celebration, fresh pineapple drinks followed by shark necklaces for adventurous children from the guy who dives for the teeth (selling his wares during Sunset Celebration), Mel Fisher's Maritime Museum, Hemingway House, climbing the lighthouse, and of course the chickens wandering the streets. We will be back!

Very nice. Clean and well maintained.

Too hot for the hot tub, but it is an excellent rental.

Beautiful condo next to public beach in key west

Booking agent met us at the door, providing us with maps, info to make our stay more enjoyable. We were 5 adults - my husband and I , my doctor son and my art director daughter and her boyfriend. Kitchen was fully functional and full size washer and dryer. Beautiful place, inside and out. It was quiet and we were most interested in water sports and views. Made breakfast in condo - which was great. We took advantage of downtown and restaurants. Loved Key West.would book this place again.

Wonderful!

It was great. The kitchen had spices and coffee so we didn't have to buy everything when we cooked. They had plenty of beach towels which was very helpful. The beach is about a 2-3 minute walk from the property. The pool area was well maintained. It was great to be to be away from the hustle and bustle of Duvall but we were a short cab ride away!

Terrific location, newly remodeled condo

We stayed here in early April 2017 and had a great time. While "downtown" Key West was hectic and crowded, we were on the ocean (Atlantic side) and away from the hubbub, still close if we wanted more excitement, or food! The condo itself was lovely, the amenities all you could ask for, the master bath shower something I would LOVE to take home. One FYI: despite the no reserving at the pool, lounges with umbrellas were taken quickly each morning. Incentive to get moving.

Wonderful stay and facilities

We had a wonderful stay at Follow the Sun @ the beach. The facilities were excellent, the room was just as pictured and served our family well, very clean and well-stocked. Our 7 day stay at Follow The Sun

Our condo was clean, quiet, convenient, and had all the amenities we could need, including beach towels and pool toys. With every kitchen supply we needed and a washer/dryer in the unit, it felt like home. The beds were comfortable, the living space open and beautifully decorated, the balcony peaceful. There was even a video console to keep the kids entertained. The pool and tennis were right at hand, the beach (with a sailing/paddle boarding rental shack) a 5 minute walk away, and the epicenter of the city an easy bike ride. The nature walk, pier, and botanical center, with an ocean front restaurant steps away, were also easy to walk to. I would definitely go there again!

The unit was spacious for four people. The master shower is huge! Good location - can walk to the beach for sunrise (very close) and to the pier for sunset (about a mile). Pool was nice with lots of lounge chairs.

Perfect location and property!

We had a great time staying at "Follow the Sun"! Shannon was a perfect host! The master suite was very nice with an updated bathroom. The guest bath does need updating but worked fine. The deck and sitting area was perfect!  We spent many hours at the pool and were in a great location to bike around the island.  Thank you!

Very nice

It was nice that Shannon met us upon our arrival, just made it easier to get settled in. The unit was very spacious and comfortable, had a great layout, spacious kitchen, huge balcony, and the wifi worked like a champ, plenty of bandwidth. One of the more interesting elements was the courtyard, pool and pavilion areas. Very spacious, they have an impressive garden area and pathway to the pool, bar-b-que area, plenty of shade and a near olympic size pool. The other great thing we thought was the location, that made it convenient for Smathers beach, running without worrying about getting run over, minutes from the Duval area, and several grocery stores. We would definitely stay at this location and this particular unit again. Thanks Shannon for your assistance, tips and smiles.

Lovely- posh, but livable. Comfortbale & relaxing.

Shannon met us at the property and was a warm and welcoming representative of the host. We appreciated her telling us about the specifics of the property and giving us insider info about the local area. The property is as nice as it looks in the photos- stunning really. It was very clean and well maintained. It's not one of those places where the owner has chucked their old crap that they don't want anymore. (I hate those places!!) I'd definitely recommend this property to a friend, and especially if you want a little space and privacy between the bedrooms. In this case, I was travelling with my father-in-law as he took a trip down memory lane from his Navy days. We were each able to have our own space when we needed it. If you go to Key West, you MUST go to Dry Tortugas National Park. It was hands down the most stunning experience of our trip. If I had it to do over, I would have spent the entire day instead of just a few hours. It's truly a marvel.

A beautiful well-appointed condo on the beach

The condo was very nice and well-stocked. The beach and pool were very nice. All the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens, including towels for the poll. We loved sitting on the balcony for morning coffee. Sometimes we would go to the beach to watch the sunrise. This condo is in a residential complex where some condos are rented out. It is wee-kept complex and very secure, including key entry to the garage. It's a little over 2 miles to the shopping area and bars on Duval Street so you need transportation. Recommend taxis because parking in town maybe hard to come by. Our Last Key Realty representative, Shannon, was awesome. She met us when we first arrived and was responsive to every question. Highly recommend this location.

Home away from home

From Shannon and our friends meeting us on arrival, to our morning and evening time on that fantastic porch, our entire visit to Key West was pleasantly hosted by "Follow the Sun". The condo is well appointed as well as the facilities. Having the grills and pavilion allowed us to host 17 friends and family for a barbecue. The picnic area also has enclosed areas where the little ones can get down on the carpet. Great location allowed us to walk off all the indulgences of vacation.

Perfect!

great experience - the condo was exactly as advertised and shown in pictures: it was nicely decorated, clean, plenty of linens and towels, full kitchen and the best patio to enjoy the view and sounds of nature (doves cooing in nearby Palm trees). Communication with the management company, Last keys realty, was impressive. They provided guidance on things to do in key west and concierge services available during our stay. Loved meeting Shannon at the condo on day of arrival to show us the unit. Very welcoming and genuinely interested in providing us with information we needed to ensure we had the best Key West experience. We enjoyed being able to spend the day exploring Key West (high energy and fun Duvall Street area) and retreat to the quieter side of the island for a restful sleep and an opportunity to truly decompress. Five stars for the location, pristine accommodations, and attentive service from the management company, Shannon in particular! We enjoyed wonderful meals at a quaint Italian restaurant, Onlywood, located in a pedestrian only side alley next to Antonios on Duvall street; Latin inspired meal at Bliss and enjoyed lunch at the eclectic and funky Blue Heaven. Took a fun and informative tour of Legal Rum distillery and had the best key lime pie at Key West lime pie company! So much more to see and do... On our return trip. Highly recommend.

As nice as advertised!

I was very pleased with our stay in the condo. The condo was just as nice as the pictures, which is always a concern of mine. The condo was very clean and spacious, and we had enough room for our 10 month old to move around. Our experience with Shannon of Last Key was fantastic. She was very thorough with information provided about the condo, the amenities of the building and local things about Key West. It was also great to be able to utilize the concierge to rent a crib for our daughter. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Wondeful place to relax right on the ocean!

The property was really clean and had a fantastic view of the ocean from our porch. The pool was clean and warm. Shannon was extremely helpful and made everything so easy.
