Although this may not be your first vacation rental, we at Last Key do things a little differently than you may have experienced elsewhere. We have compiled this guide to help us work together to make the most of your upcoming stay. Of course, call us anytime if what you are looking for is not addressed here!
There is a whole team preparing for your upcoming arrival, and we appreciate as much information about your travel plans as you can give us. Please share your arrival and departure methods and timing with us as soon as you know them. Please include your approximate times of arrival & departure if you have them, and if you will be driving, flying or arriving by boat into Key West.
If you are flying into Key West, plan to call your Guest Services Coordinator as soon as you get to the baggage area. If you are driving, plan to call your Guest Services Coordinator when you are about an hour outside of Key West (around Marathon Key) so that he/she can meet with you if possible. If you experience delays on your arrival date, please call or send a text message to your Guest Services Coordinator in order to keep us informed of your travel status.
Much of our communications come via email from either our office, your Guest Services Coordinator, or our Concierge team. Please check your emails and keep in touch on your travel plans, as well as anything we can do for you as we prepare for your stay.
Many of our vacation homes offer flexibility in the bed configuration, pool temperature, and other “add-on” options.
If your home has a note in the description that a bedroom offers “two Twin beds that convert to 1 King upon request” be sure to let us know whether you’d like Twins or a King at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival to avoid additional charges.
If your home has a private pool that can be heated, be sure to let us know whether you’d like the pool heated prior to your arrival if you would like it at that temperature when you get here. Otherwise, we can turn the heat on when we meet you but it may take several hours to reach that temperature. Be advised stays less than a month will see a per-day pool heat fee if pool heat is requested.
All Last Key Realty vacation homes give you a washer and dryer, as well as cleaning supplies to use during your stay…but who wants to clean on vacation!? While your reservation includes an end-of-stay cleaning, interim housekeeping services are available upon request.
If you desire interim cleaning during your stay, we must have ample advance notice as our cleaning schedule is often filled. Interim cleanings will be charged after services are completed. Inquire for rates, which are based on time and services requested.
