Clean, organized, and very well maintained

Stayed at la petite penthouse and it was absolutely perfect. The property is part of a very quiet association. We encountered a little trouble with our lock and Alice immediately deployed maintenance(Fausto) to help us. He fixed it right away. Next time we will certainly book with Last Key.

Such a wonderful stay at La Petite!

We didn’t even rent a car because everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. All the food that you would ever want to eat along with music and shopping. Many beaches also within walking distance. There is a front and back porch so you can either be in or out of the sun during the day along with a heated pool during the day. Would definitely stay at this VRBO again.

We absolutely loved this condo

Everything walkable, I mean really walkable. We never drove the rental car. Quiet at night. It felt safe to walk at night, no scary people. My daughter rented a bike which worked out perfectly. Kitchen had everything we needed. Back and front porches excellent to eat with the family. Shower was walk in and good sized. Cable tv in every room if you like that. Plenty of storage and hangars for our clothing. In other words for us, it was perfect. Thank you.

Definitely recommend!

Everything was clean and well thought out. The place isn't huge (per the name) but our family of 4 was able to spread out enough and not be on top of each other. Alice and Sam were very communicative and made our check-in and out very easy. Alice even went out of her way and got us a little cooler to use for a kayaking excursion. The location is perfect - we could walk anywhere we wanted but it was also a cheap Uber ride across town when we were tired or too hot to walk. We would definitely recommend staying at La Petite Penthouse!

Fantastic Customer Service

The unit is perfectly located and, while being truly "petit", was a good fit for 4 adults. The one hiccup was the AC went down while we were out and about one day. We arrived home about 8pm and discovered the problem. We called the emergency manager phone number and a service person was on location and the unit fixed in a couple of hours so we never were inconvenienced. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Retreat

Loved our stay at this property. Location was within walking distance to Fort Taylor, Mallory Square, Duval Street etc. Very clean, perfect retreat for a few days of fun in the sun!

Great Location, Fantastic Condo

This unit is lovely! Perfect for two couples or a small family. We loved that it was quiet, but close enough to walk to stores, restaurants and sites. For families, the playground and splashpad down the street are great as is the proximity to the beach. If we come back to Key West in the future, we would definitely stay here again.

Convenient Location

The Condo is nicely located between Duval and Fort Zachary Beach.  We were able to walk everywhere most of the week.  The complex was quiet, and we never had an issue with noise.  It has all the things you would need in the kitchen for food/meal prep.

Perfect for our family

We stayed at La Petite Penthouse. It was perfect for our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids. Close to everything and in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Home Away From Home

The experience at La Petite Penthouse through Last Key Realty was outstanding.  Rented the unit in Truman Annex, Key West for 3 weeks and the service before and throughout the stay was top notch.  Shel Segel, our guest services coordinator, was both proactive and extremely helpful in a timely manner and with great enthusiasm throughout our stay.  Last Key offered concierge service as well which was both unexpected and very helpful.  The unit was in immaculate condition and felt like home away from home and would rent again in a heartbeat.  Location ideal for all things Key West.  Highly recommend to all visiting this slice of paradise.

Clean & Quiet

This condo is very clean and quiet. Conveniently located within walking distance to tons of restaurants and bars... but far enough away that you don’t hear it once you get home. Nicest Rental I've had in Key West

Spotless and Well Equipped

I rented a condo in Truman Annex for my daughter and me. It was spotless! Very well equipped for all of our needs. Modern appliances. Washer/dryer in unit. Renovated bathroom. Great location. Just steps to the Waterfront Park and Whits Frozen Custard and the Green Parrot. Nice quiet pool in the complex. Would definitely rent thru Last Key. Easy easy easy!

We can't wait to come back!

This condo is everything that we needed! It Is managed by a local company so they are Readily available if you have any problems or issues. The location was great in the Truman Annex; Two blocks off of Duval Street. Easy walking to anywhere from this location including Mallory Square. We had an upstairs condo which had two balconies (One in the front and one in the back). Fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Also had a few essentials like cooking spray and spices. Plenty of bath towels; also four beach towels available. Washer/dryer in the condo. Small pool area right outside the back of this condo. We would recommend this condo to others and we hope to return again someday!

Happy 2021!!!

We stayed there Nov of 2020 at the La Petite Penthouse. This place was such a nice cozy place to stay. It had everything we needed and it was very clean. Shel was the host that we communicated with before and during our stay, he was awesome. He responded to us by text, phone call or email very promptly. The location was the absolute best. We paid for a rental car, for the week that we were there and that was a waste of money because this place is walking distance to so many bars, restaurants, shopping, harbors, and the Southernmost Point of the United States. The prices were so low for what you are getting in return. I searched 100’s of vacation rentals before finding this one. I was amazed at the pricing and thought it might be too good to be true, but it was true and everything was perfect. You won’t be disappointed. This was one of the best vacations I’ve been on. It was a great escape from the COVID-19 nightmare we are living in CA where we can’t do anything.

Fantastic stay, as good or better than advertised!

Great location for everything

We visit Key West several times per year and have stayed in a variety of properties over the years. This place was very well appointed - as four adults sharing a bathroom - this one wins! This was the perfect getaway!

Exactly as advertised

 

I could not be more happier with my choice. I have been to Key West several time staying in hotels and also on cruises. When researching I found that a condo/home was a better valve. Plus with more amenities and a one on one Concierge. Shel was wonderful giving us suggestions on restaurant and activities. The condo is in a perfect location to the beach, restaurants, Duval, Mallory Square . All are within walking distance. If you are looking for a low key place to watch the sunset. Waterfront park near the condo is lovely place. Also sunsets at Fort Zachary are amazing. I truly enjoyed my morning greetings from the roosters. Will definitely be back.

Thank goodness for Shel! He had amazing recommendations for local food and must-see/do's during our stay in the Keys, and the periodic check-in was very thoughtful and appreciated. The place was gorgeous, clean, and with plenty of amenities (first aid kits, beach chairs/towels/umbrellas, games, etc.). Great condo

Very close to everything but separate from the crazy. Photos are very accurate but can’t tell the story of how comfortable. Beds were to notch, kitchen fully equipped, even a Kurig and regular coffee maker. Oh, and washer/dryer is added plus. There were three of us, husband, wife and bear adult son. Plenty of space for the three of us. I would/will book this unit again.

Best service ever

My husband, myself and teenage son recently visited Key West for the first time. We rented a condo through Last Key Realty and could not have been more impressed with the condo, but more importantly, the service we received from our guest service coordinator, Shel. We knew we were in good hands, when Shel met us at the condo upon arrival with lots of helpful information on what to do and where to eat. He provided us a list of his favorite eateries, we didn't deviate from his list and not one of them let us down!!!!! Shel checked in with us through out the week to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and had all that we needed. He even stopped by the morning we were leaving to say goodbye. We have rented condos/houses all over the United States and never have we received such personalized service. We feel like we made a friend in Key West and we will be back to see him!!!

3 Months in Key West

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our three month stay at our condo in Key West old town rented through Last Key Realty. Perfection!
La Petite Penthouse was the perfect spot for our recent girl's getaway trip! The condo was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need! The property manager, Shel, met us at the condo upon our arrival, and helped us with luggage, showed us around the unit, and had a multitude of information about the area ready for us! His dinner suggestions were spot on, and even had a lovely key-lime pie in the refrigerator to welcome us to Key West! I would highly recommend staying here and working with Last Key Realty. Concierge service was extremely helpful in arranging for bicycles for us for the week, and booking an excursion. I miss the roosters already -- even the iguanas sunning themselves in the trees or by the pool! I loved the warm water in the pool, and plenty of lounge chairs available!

Amazing service
This condo was perfect for our family and was conveniently located within walking distance of all the major attractions on the island. It was clean and came equipped with all amenities from home. Our Stay at Truman Annex

To whom it may concern,

I wanted to write a review about our stay in Florida, however neither my wife or I are on Facebook or Twitter so I wanted to write an e mail and hopefully you can use it. My family and I had the opportunity to vacation in Key West, Fl. In March and we stayed in one of your properties in the Truman Annex. The condo we were in was beautiful and had all the amenities of home. It was well kept up and equipped with everything we needed to have the best and most relaxing time. The location of Truman Annex was great, off the beaten trail but within walking distance of all the sights and restaurants of Key West. We worked with Shel Segel and he was great. He gave us the rundown on the property and the surrounding area and at one point the air conditioning gave out and when we called him he had someone there a couple hours later and the problem was taken care of. He was a pleasure to work with. We all had a very relaxing and enjoyable time at the Truman Annex and in Key West. We’ve already started talking about our next trip down there and I know that we will want to work with your firm and Shel for our next vacation there. Thanks for the wonderful time.

Very pleased w/ furnishings, cookware & location

We had a lovely stay at La Petite Penthouse located right in the heart of Old Town, but sequestered away from the fray. The condo was outfitted nicely with furnishings, cookware, and other amenities. Shel was an outstanding resource for dining and activity information, as well as any other questions we had about our stay. The condo layout is very efficient and we loved the two balconies (one in the front and one in the back). Only gripe (and a minor one at that) would be to replace the plastic deck chairs on the back balcony with wicker or metal chairs). Other than that, we had an outstanding vacation experience.

Absolutely loved our stay here!

Couldn’t have been happier with this condo. Extremely clean and had everything we needed. We have a family of five and were very comfortable, much better than a hotel! It was awesome having a washer and dryer, especially with the beach so close! We will definitely be staying here again for our next trip to Key West. Beautiful apartment in top location

We had an amazing time at La Petite Penthouse! It is located within the very nice "Shipyard annex" next to the Truman Annex, very close to Duval Street, the beaches and the port. We stayed there with our 3 little kids + our nanny. The apartment is super clean and has everything or even more than you need. We had more towels and bed sheets than we could use within one week! The kitchen is super well equipped with very nice and tasteful dishes and cutlery and everything you need for preparing nice meals. The place has two verandas, a large one facing the courtyard/Pool and a small one with a barbecue. The concierge service is available by phone and was very helpful providing us cribs and strollers for our kids. Shel, the agent, is also very nice and helpful. He met us when we arrived and also came to say good bye before we left. We definitely want to come again!

Clean, Convenient, just what we were looking for

Property was very clean. Although cozy the property was plenty big enough for a family of four. Great location within the Truman annex provided convenient access to restaurants and other activities. We all felt very safe and secure. We kept our bicycles locked up outside for the week with absolutely no issues. Quiet at night. Community pool was really great to have on a few very hot days. The movies and games stocked within the condo provided a welcome distraction on the one day we had rain. Shel was fantastic. He was attentive and helpful but not too overbearing. We would definitely stay here again!

A great place to spend a week in Key West!

This property was exactly like it was portrayed - full of light, in the palm trees and overlooking the community pool with large decks in back and in front. Shel at Last Key Realty was a great and attentive contact for us. We were within walking distance to Duval St. and wherever we wanted to go. We would highly recommend it to others as it feels like it is a brand new property and fully equipped.

Best vacation ever!

My 2 adult children and I had a wonderful stay at La Petite Penthouse. We were greeted at the property by Shel, who was a fabulous "host" and very attentive to our needs throughout our stay. The property was exactly as pictured, very clean, well maintained and beautifully furnished with many amenities. Everything we needed for the beach was there including beach towels, a small cooler and umbrella. The washer/dryer was especially handy for drying bathing suits and towels. The location was perfect for walking, as we did not have a car, and was easily accessible to many attractions including Duvall St., Mallory Square, Truman House, and Hemingway House. The Butterfly Conservatory was great and we enjoyed a trolly ride and a fabulous snorkeling trip. Blue Heaven is a must for breakfast and only a block away. We loved every minute of our stay and are already planning our next trip back to Key West and La Petite Penthouse.

Adorable 2 Bed Condo

La Petite Penthouse is a lovely 2nd floor condo in a very quiet gated community on Southard St. It is excellently maintained, has fresh updated decor & flooring, comfortable mattresses, pillows and bedding. Shel Segal, our rental coordinator was on top of our arrival and departure...willing to meet us at the condo at OUR convenience. He was very welcoming, willing to help with any questions and facilitate our enjoyment of the condo & Key West. We loved the downtown location, able to walk to great places to eat & shop. Fort Zachory Taylor State Park is really close (driving in there is preferable) and the beach is gorgeous. Shel had some excellent restaurant suggestions that we used, notably La Creperie French Cafe, Blue Heaven (both a short walk) and Robbie's this awesome local place just off the island. The pool was warm, clean and perfect for the boys. Parking directly in front of door. This was an ideal rental for our small family, it made me smile the whole vacation!

The Perfect Spot for an Extended KW Adventure

We visit Key West for 10 days every other year for the Key West Literary Seminar in January. We like to relax, shop, eat really good food and listen to great music. And sleep - which isn't so easy sometimes in a vibrant, rooster-full town like KW. Thankfully, we were able to find La Petite Penthouse, a cozy 2 bedroom condo in the very safe, quiet yet convenient Truman Annex neighborhood. The condo was well-furnished, with two nice bedrooms and a modern bathroom with good water pressure and plenty of towels, not to mention a W/D. The kitchen was small, so I didn't feel guilty about not cooking, but well equipped for someone more culinary. The outside balcony deck had a great table and chairs for cocktails or coffee. Shel and the folks at Last Key Realty were super helpful, and we were close to everything. Overall, one of our favorites!

Wonderful stay!

We loved La Petite Penthouse- it is lovely inside and the location is perfect. Our concierge, Shel, was quite helpful and pleasant. Our stay was totally enjoyable!

Excellent experience

We just spent a week at La Petite Penthouse with our two adult children and it was wonderful. The condo is extremely clean, modern and perfectly located. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to be able to eat in most of our time. Despite the morning rooster crews, the unit is situated beautifully "among the trees" and sitting on the balcony each morning was wonderful. We had a great time. Only thing I wish were a little different is that a stay of 4-5 days could be allowed. The 6 day minimum created a travel difficulty for us, but overall would definitely stay here again if we return to Key West.

PERFECT!

I can't say enough about our wonderful experience in Key West. This is a PERFECT spot, close to Beaches, Duval and easy walking or biking. We enjoyed the snorkeling, the great food and going out at night without one problem. The condo is clean, there is nothing you will need to bring but the cloths on your back! We travel quite frequently and the accuracy of the description could not have been better. The staff was polite and gave wonderful advice and instruction. The cleanliness was what impressed us most. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting the perfect Key West Vacation.
