I highly recommend this place

This house is perfectly situated on Duval street close to all the bars, restaurants, and shops. The rooftop was nice in the evening. Make sure to bring your shampoo items as only bar soap was provided. The hosts were great to work with as well and even dropped off a little treat at our arrival.

Absolutely Surreal

This was one of the first properties i looked at on vrbo and i couldnt believe how nice it was. But actually staying there was surreal. So large, so moden and with bedrooms and a rooftop deck with another in the back. And of course the swimmig pool which is like the perfect size for key west. And one of the primarily reasons i chose this property is location. It is perfect. It is almost exactly centralized on duval. Its just far away from the west bars so that you so t hear them and below the apartment is a small souvenir shop. By far one of the best rentals ive ever chose.

Amazing place on Duval!!

Best communication I have ever had with a Rental Company (Last Key- thank you Dan) This house was perfect for our family of 6 adults. From start to finish it was exceptional. Location was in the middle of Duvall so made walking everywhere super convenient. I was a bit leary of the noise level, but we did not hear a thing and all slept great. Noise was never a problem. There is a super easy access to Duval and also room in the side alley behind to park our golf cart. Outdoor space was awesome and we took advantage of the pool daily. Also the rooftop balcony was so fun every night to close out the day people watching. If you want great location and super nice house, this is it. Dan was so quick responding to a request when we arrived and communicated throughout the entire stay. Would definitely stay again!!

Right on Duval

This place was super clean. Dan was our host and was in touch throughout the trip. We enjoyed the pool and common spaces. Kitchen was fully stocked. Everything worked. Rental is a .5-1 mile very doable walk to the marina and less to Mallory Square. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place!!!

My husband and I and 3 others stayed at Maya’s Secret Treasure for our daughter’s college spring break (March 2024) – this was our second year in Key West.  This place is perfectly situated on Duval Street – close to everything, especially wonderful shopping and restaurants.   It’s beautifully decorated and the workmanship is excellent, it looks like it’s been recently renovated. 

 

We enjoyed having all the comforts of home – a large king size bed in the main bedroom, a swimming pool, firepit, lounge chairs everywhere, super comfy sofa, huge tvs, large kitchen with full size frig, stove, coffee makers, blender, etc.   

 

The gracious owners left a key lime pie in the freezer which was a really nice surprise!  The other rooms were just as nice, beautifully decorated and spacious.  Too many wonderful amenities to list, but it definitely was a wonderful and relaxing place to come “home” to after an entire day of sight-seeing.   

 

We liked the Key West Key Lime Pie print in the kitchen so much that we ordered a print for our home.  Key West has become a place that we really enjoy visiting, the city feels safe and I don’t worry about my daughter and her boyfriend exploring the area on foot or golf cart.  Everywhere we went, shop owners and restaurant staff very friendly and accommodating.  Maya’s Secret Treasure is someplace we hope to stay again!

This property was everything I hoped it would be!!!!

This property was absolutely spotless, which is a huge deal for me. Loved that they had supplies to get us started. We will definitely come back! Keep in mind the location is in the center of all the excitement so you do hear music once in a while. Our host was spot on with any issues. Absolutely incredible place to stay!!

Incredible!

This place blew us away. We reserved the villa to host a few friends and to get married in key west and it was such a special space to live in that made the trip all the more memorable! Modern, spotless, luxurious and so many cool outdoor spaces to enjoy...we didn't want to leave!!

Maya's is Amazing!

We were met by Ksenia, our Last Key rep (guest services coordinator), when we got there and she gave us a great orientation to the place. Last Key Realty was great to work with and so helpful, especially since our trip was rescheduled because of Hurricane Ian last year. Maya's Secret Treasure was a beautiful property, well maintained, with fantastic furnishings, plenty of towels, nice assortment of kitchen necessities like salt, pepper, spices, coffee, dishes, cooking items, etc.  And a fresh Key Lime Pie in the fridge for us!!  Check-out was easy, and loved that we didn't have to completely clean out the fridge before we left. We had a wonderful time and will definitely go back!

Our stay was stupendous

The place was even nicer than depicted in the pictures. Great layout for my family with plenty of room to entertain. The pool was big enough for our family and we spent hours in it enjoying each day. Our host was amazing giving us tons of recommendations for food and places to go. We booked a half day cruise through their website and had the time of our lives. I would definitely recommend this company to families and friends.

Good choice and fun place

Beautiful home, vibrant and fun. Too hot to use roof deck but would be great in cooler temps. We had a 90 degree week. Pool was a lifesaver. Back deck was perfect with recliners. Kitchen had everything. Utilized Publix/instacart for groceries. Great service. Secret Duval street gate was used a lot. Main entrance is actually in rear of home through pool area, thru a gate, down a lane to Petronia street. A bit challenging for giving directions. Other homes are very close but high fence offers privacy. Bottom floor is a surf shop. Music plays open to close so you will hear it in the bedrooms at night. Sound machines are provided and did help. No one lost any sleep due to the music. Drag bar next door was never a problem. 2 short shows each night. 7 & 9 pm. Location is perfectly placed in middle of Duval. Ensuite bathrooms are perfect for multiple couples. Samantha from Last Key Realty was great. Would rent again.

From check in to check out this place couldn't be better! The pool and rooftop were great to hang out and listen to music on Duval St. Great location and walking distance to shops, restaurants and the marina. Note: There is no parking so there is really no need for a car.

Incredible house!!

I love love love this house! The house is a hidden gem with lots of eccentric decorations. Great location right across the street from Pinchers. We also loved having a nightcap (or 2) on the rooftop overlooking Duval and people watching. I would definitely stay there again.

Nothing Else Like It

Unlike any other!

Definite 'Cool' Factor!

This was a perfect place for us to enjoy when we weren’t running about the island. My kids loved the decor’s “cool” factor and the pool was perfect to have at our disposal to cool off with all the hot days we were running around! Would stay there again!!

Stay at Maya's!!

We were a little nervous being right above Duval St. That was the best surprise! Perfect location and noise level was well below expectations! The furniture was extremely comfortable, TVs extra large and the kitchen was big enough for the whole crowd. We will stay here again!

Great Place in a Great Spot

The property is in an amazing location and within walking distance of everything! The great rooftop deck, private backyard, and fantastic three-bedroom setup made this place incredible! We will definitely reserve this location again next year!!

In the heart of it all!

This was a beautiful home and a perfect location if you want to be in the heart of it all. It was a bit loud on Friday and Saturday evening so bring earplugs! Overall an amazing experience, beautiful clean home, and felt like a secret spot in this wild city!

Made our 50th Birthdays Perfect!

We ventured to Key West to celebrate two 50th Bdays! Maya’s Secret Treasure was the perfect location and central to everywhere we were looking to go. Easy walk just about everywhere and the accommodations were first class. Samantha was also a great help consistently reaching out to see how everything was going. Definitely recommend!!

Best Stay Yet!

As a frequent traveler to Key West, I am quite particular as far as the "must haves" when renting a house. Our party consisted of 3 couples, away to celebrate a 50th birthday so the accommodations were important. Without question Maya's Secret Treasure was extraordinary and checked all the boxes!

 

The common spaces indoor and outdoor were beautifully updated, spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms were incredible as was the upstairs deck overlooking Duvall which we appropriately labeled the "heckle deck" as it was a great place to laugh and interact with the vibrant passersby throughout the evening. What an extraordinary amenity for a group to gather.

 

The only thing as good or even better was the staff managing the property. Samantha (Sam) was our liaison and was probably the most energetic and responsive person I have ever dealt with when renting a house anywhere. She took care of everything and anything we needed from start to finish. Without a doubt, between the staff and the property we once again enjoyed another perfect Key West weekend! We will return!!

THE Place to Stay

Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect - right on Duval but away from the craziness; almost exactly half way between Mallory Square and the Southernmost Point. The house itself was clean, updated, and had fantastic places to hang out with friends - either by the pool or on the roof top deck. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and well appointed. We had three adult couples and all were very happy. Will definitely be back.

Our FAVORITE Place in Key West!

Definitely Recommend! Rooftop Deck is Great!

The property was perfect for our group of 6 adults. We spent a lot of time in the pool area, on the back porch with the TV, and people-watching on the roof deck!  Space was clean, beds were comfortable, and kitchen was fully equipped. Communication with property managers was easy and helpful.  Would definitely recommend this house!

Fun on Duval St

We had a great experience at Maya's. Property was bright and clean. Location can't be beat. Walk right out the gate and you are on Duval. 'People watching' from top deck was a hoot. Having access to a pool was also quite a bonus!

We LOVE Maya's!

This place truly is a secret treasure! Tucked right above the hustle and bustle of Duval street it was conveniently located and yet still maintained privacy and seclusion. We absolutely fell in love with the property from the rooftop to the ground level pool. The property manager Samantha was lovely and attentive. Highly recommend. Satisfied guests!

Can't be beat!

Mayas Secret Treasure is beautiful!  Wonderful location on Duval Street.... People Watching from rooftop terrace cant be beat.  Only real downside is that there is no parking available.  Being in the middle of Duval, most things are within walking distance.  Would be the perfect place to stay during festivals!  We will be back.

Great place on Duval!

Beautiful modern property on Duval St. Impeccably clean and well stocked home - even had some laundry soap! We enjoyed the outdoor back deck nightly - comfy chairs and adequate seating. One drawback was no parking which is stated in the listing, however would be nice to figure out someway to find space even for a golf cart. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place!

First of all, we would, without hesitation, recommend Maya’s Secret Treasure to anyone looking for a great place to stay while exploring Key West. The master bedrooms were all wonderfully appointed. Immaculately clean. And the support we received from Last Key was exceptional. The courtyard and pool were the perfect place to cool off after a long day walking around the city. The sun deck gave us a wonderful spot to people watch at most anytime of the day or night. Great place! We’ll be back!!!

This place is amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay and can't wait to come back. It is exactly as the pictures show, if not better! There were 3 couples in our group and each had plenty of space with a king bed and bathroom. The pool and back porch area is where we spent most of our time. Plenty of sunshine or shade to be had. Beach towels were provided, which is a plus when trying to travel light. The kitchen was amazing. We used it mainly for breakfast and lunch. Plenty of supplies too!

 

The location of this home was perfect for us. It was right in the middle of the length of Duval. A 10 minute walk to the Southernmost Point or a 10 minute walk the other way to Mallory Square. We enjoyed the night life that Key West has to offer and were always just a short walk away. We had a rooftop that looked down on Duval which was great for people watching!

 

This area is in a quieter stretch of Duval, but Duval is lively most hours of the day, so it is not the quietest location. However, we had no problem with noise inside home. This home also shares a walkway with a bar which we thought could be an issue, but it was quiet the whole time we were there.

 

Management was very attentive to us as well as helpful in answering our questions. We were even greeted with a fresh Key Lime pie in the refridgerator. What a nice touch!

Company incentive trip

This property was the perfect getaway for 6 adults for 3 nights. The property was well thought out in every imaginable way from the rooftop patio overlooking Duval st. to the relaxing deck on the back. Also the heated pool in the back was a plus. We will certainly be back!
