Well worth the price!

This was our third trip to the island and our first time staying at Promenade to Paradise. The property and grounds were exceptional. Views of the water, absolutely close to the heart of the action and the best beach on the island(Fort Zachary Taylor). The Truman annex is like a getaway from your getaway, quiet, slow and secure. We will absolutely stay here again on the next trip. If you have a chance to stay then book it!

We loved Promenade to Paradise

The different areas of the island all had different feels - old town, harbor, southernmost point, beaches, and new town. Truman Annex couldn't be a better location. We had a gorgeous water view, could watch the cruise ships come in, and still walk to Duval St., the harbor and southernmost point. The condo itself was beautiful and clean. The porch is fantastic! Also, there were a lot of little extras - sunscreen, games, books, and kitchen supplies as well. Last Key was great to work with and we were so pleased with our entire stay!

Absolutely Fantastic!

Where to begin? “Promenade to Paradise” was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were perfectly decorated for Key West. With a family of five, there was plenty of space for each of my three children. Also very spacious open concept where we could all be together with what little downtime we had. The beautiful view off the veranda was breathtaking. We absolutely loved our vacation and will hopefully be fortunate enough to return someday.

Fabulous!

We stayed at this condo as two couples and really enjoyed the place. The porch is a perfect place to hangout and watch the sunset. The kitchen and living area were very comfortable and open so it’s easy to be with a group. The bedrooms were private and there are 2 other small patios. It is a fabulous location 3 blocks from Duval street. It was easy to walk to great restaurants/bars and shops. It was a perfect relaxing vacation.

Our Friends were Envious (with good reason!)

Beautiful. Better sunset than Mallory Square. Three and 1/2 blocks from almost every attraction (Mallory Square, Green Parrot, Duval St bus, Blue Heaven, Fort Zachary Taylor Park, Truman White House). Very large and open. Nice pool. All of our friends at other locations were envious.

Best Trip Yet

I’m so glad we found Last Key Realty. This was our third trip to Key West and Last Key made it our best. It was nice to have a local connection for anything that might come up. The are available if you have any issues with the rental property, but they are also a great resource for any questions about the island. Our rental unit was amazing. We have rented many vacation properties and this was one of the best.  We have rented units that were missing some basic items. This property was the exact opposite.  They had thought of everything! We felt so pampered and will call Last Key when it is time to come back!

Incredible Views

The view is priceless at Promenade to Paradise and the covered porch, if possible, is even better!! Last Key Realty is by far my favorite rental management company to deal with in Key West and I have pretty much dealt with them all. Promenade to Paradise
We have been coming to Key West for 26 years, this is by far the best place we have stayed. Spotless and very cozy. The veranda is the perfect place to view a sunset and watch the cruise ships come to dock. We truly enjoy this property. Walking distance to many of the local hot spots. Shel was our agent and went above and beyond to accommodate to our needs. We will be scheduling another vacation next year with Last Key for sure. Thank you Shel !

Key West Paradise
Just left beautiful Key West and our amazing accommodations at "Promenade In Paradise". So happy I found Last Key Realty. I have rented vacation homes in Key West more than 20 times and can say without a doubt they are extremely professional, efficient and caring. Shel welcomed us to go over everything we needed to know about the unit and also met us before we left. The unit itself was spotless and offered all the comforts of home with the most amazing location. We didn't have to go anywhere to see the famous Key West sunsets. The large and comfortable balcony could be accessed through the kitchen / dining area or the master bedroom. The Master BR also had a small balcony overlooking the pool. We did enjoy the pool on a few occasions which we pretty much had to ourselves. We will be looking forward to using Shel and Last Key Realty in the future!

Our First Time in Key West

 

This was our first time to go to Key West. Our location was awesome. We could walk to everything, the room was beautiful. The pool was behind our room and was completely private. This was a new two bedroom condo with all the amenities that you would need for an extended stay. The views from our back porch were of the best sunsets we have ever witnessed along with the boats coming into the harbor area. We will always ask for this location again. Our concierge Shell was extremely helpful with our activities on ever subject on the island. A vacation to remember and place that we will always go back to.

Wonderful Key West Experience!

 

My Family of 5 joined my High School senior on his class trip to sunny Kew West, FL. We were there from March 29 2019 to April 8th 2019. We had never been to Kew West before and to be honest even after a lot of on-line research we didn't know what to expect. What I can tell you is we loved the entire experience. My wife found Last Key Realty, Inc. on-line and what felt like a leap of faith, we booked a flight from Cleveland, OH to Miami, FL and then drove down to Key West (about a three hour drive) very cool if you have never done it before. To be honest what we saw of the property on-line did not do it justice (we rented a 2 bedroom, two bath condo facing west on the second floor with a marvelous deck, open concept and plenty of room for all of us. Here's the cool part, we were in a gated community down from the Truman Little White House. The neighborhood was pristine, quiet and a short walk away from the very active, very fun old downtown area of Duvall Street. We literally walked everywhere which made things very convenient. Ok know here's the best part, this property comes with a Guest Service Coordinator. Ours was Mr. Shel Segel. He's lived in Key West since 1975. He is only there to help! If you need anything he's your single point of contact. Shel is very knowledgeable of everything that's a "must do" while you’re there. He also explains that there is a concierge service that will book your daily events for you (e.g. para-sailing or jet skiing around the island) both highly recommended as a "must do" Shel also provided us insight into the must see events, like sunset viewing spots, off the beaten path excellent restaurants and the best of the best restaurants, like Latitudes on Sunset Key. I'll let Shel tell you the rest. Shel's the Pro. The fact is, we couldn't have been happier to have had Shel and Last Key Reality Rentals as our choice for this once in a life time memory for my son on a senior trip that I know he'll never forget. 5 Stars all the way for Shel and this company. Wow! is the best way to describe this place

 

We have been coming to Key West twice a year for the last 10 years but this is the first time we rented a place through Last Key . Wow! Not only was Promenade To Paradise the nicest condo we have ever stayed in, but the hospitality exhibited by Last Key, specifically Shel, was truly exceptional. From re-arranging his schedule to meet us at the condo to surprising my wife with a Key Lime pie for her birthday, he totally impressed us with his attention to detail. If you're a first time visitor to the island, be sure to take advantage of Shel's wealth of information and the free concierge service that is offered. As for the condo itself, it is absolutely beautiful with a well-stocked kitchen and a spacious living area. The decor is just right in all rooms and, of course, the best part is the huge balcony overlooking the ocean and brand new walking/fitness park. We're early risers and my favorite part of the day was morning coffee on the balcony, watching the cruise ships come in (see photo) and all the folks walking their dogs in the park. The unit is in a great location, easy walking distance to the new waterfront park, the Hemingway House, Blue Heaven, Duval St and Mallory Square. I normally try to mention something that could be improved to balance the review a bit, but I honestly can't think of anything negative to say. Thanks again Shel and Last Key for a memorable stay. We look forward to booking through you again in the future.

A Promenade to Paradise indeed.
This was my family and I's first time to Key West and we could not have been more pleased with our stay. The pictures of this property do not do it justice. The property is spacious and homely with breathtaking views of the water. Being able to watch the sunset from our balcony in seclusion and privacy as unbeatable. Shel, our guest service coordinator, met us at the property and took time to point out all the highlights. The Truman Annex was spectacular, and you would be hard-pressed to find a better place to stay on Key West!

Paradise for sure!!
Promenade to Paradise was the perfect place to stay in Key West! It’s just a couple blocks from Duval but when you walk home you feel the serenity and southern beauty. We spent a part of each morning and late evening on the large veranda. The pool was just down the steps and out the door. Shel gave great directions as when drove in from Ft Lauderdale and also gave so many options for eating! Truman Annex is really the perfect location because you can walk over to the beach at Fort Z Taylor State Park and are able to get up or down Duval Street easily. We would stay here again in a minute! Thanks Shel! Definitely one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed!

Truman Annex is a lovely area and we highly recommend Promenade to Paradise

Our vacation lodging was aptly named, Promenade to Paradise, in Truman Annex, Key West, FL. A beautiful oasis in the middle of busy Key West, on the waterfront and close to the major attractions. The sunsets were spectacular viewed from the front deck. Rooms had everything we needed, are large and attractively furnished. A beautiful swimming pool is located in a private area on the property. We arrived after sundown unfamiliar with the area. Fortunately Shel directed us via phone to the property. He was always available to answer our questions.

Winter Break Paradise!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Promenade to Paradise with our 2 college sons during their winter break. We were greeted by Shel, who explained the important details of the condo and left a list of recommended restaurants and activities. It was helpful to know he was just a text or phone call away should we have any questions or issues. Thank you, Shel! We loved the view and watched sunsets right from our balcony! The condo was beautifully appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the ships and walking along Truman Waterfront Park. This was our 3rd trip to Key West and we were looking for a rental near the ocean and not too far from Duval. This was perfect! We recently spent a week at Promenade to Paradise in Mill Place on Emma Street. Our concierge Shel did a fabulous job for us! Everything was perfect. He met us at the exact time he said he would and had the condo set in such a welcoming way. Even with champagne for our birthday gal! He did a great job of supplying us with recommendations on restaurants and activities. On our last day, he stopped by to tell us goodbye. The condo was absolutely gorgeous and supplied with everything we would need. This is the fourth time we’ve used Last Key Realty and they are the only company we’ll use from now on! Thanks Shel!!

Very nicely kept, spacious, wonderfully located and easy to walk to the best parts of Key West

The condo was immaculate and large, well equipped, and very comfortable. Parking was easy and off the street. We enjoyed the concierge service, having them arrange bike rentals for us. We rode bikes all over the island. The pool is very private and steps away - we spent a lot of time there. The cruise ships do dock on the waterfront right behind the property, but aren’t really that big of a deal as they are a bit in the distance ...and many days no ships were there. The view of the water and sunsets was spectacular. Had my “sundowner” cocktail with my wife most nights on the huge veranda out back. Very private, especially in the evenings. Shel, who checked us in and out was very helpful with suggestions for dining and his take on the island after living there quite a few years. We really liked him! We went to Ft. Zachary Taylor several times to the beach - one of our favorites. Only two blocks from Blue Heaven and Duvall Street, though none of the “nightlife” there can be heard from or ends up in the Truman Annex development which is very quiet and upscale. Overall a wonderful and restful vacation - just what the doctor ordered!

Good Location

This was a perfect location within walking distance of pretty much everything. The condo was clean and had plenty off open space. Our Concierge Key Shel was super helpful and recommended some excellent restaurants for us to eat at. My only complaint was that the landscapers were doing work Monday through Thursday everyday and the noise was a bit much. That being said we would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Place!

Not only was this place beautiful and well stocked, but was immaculate as well. It even came equipped with beach chairs that we used for the songwriters concert a short walk away at the amphitheater. Shel was as fantastic as described by others. He greeted us as our taxi arrived;helped us up the stairs with our luggage, gave us pointers about restaurants on the island and even had his famous key lime pie awaiting us in the refrigerator. We especially enjoyed the pool and spent many hours on the front porch watching the boats,cruise ships and construction of the beautiful city park. We’ll be back.

Fantastic place in a perfect location

We can't say enough great things about Shel and Last Key Rentals. The place was immaculate and within an easy walk/bike ride of everything you want to explore in Key West. We enjoyed sunsets from the deck almost every evening. Shel provided perfect service throughout our stay, and even collected our luggage and kept it at their offices until our late evening flight time. The park in front of the condo is under construction so expect some noise during the work week, but once the park is compete in June this place is going to be absolutely perfect in every way. Can't way to stay here again.

Great Key West amenities and ambience. Well worth the price!

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo is located in the perfect place. Beautiful sunsets overlooking Mallory Square to the north. It is about 2/5th of the way from the west end of Duval and so it perfect walking distance to EVERYWHERE! We even walked to Louie's Backyard for dinner and it was a leisurely stroll of about 18 minutes. Shel, from the Last Key Real Estate office which manages the condo, took great care of us, meeting us upon our arrival and giving us the lay of the land, and helping us downstairs with our bags on our departure. He is a foodie and his choices for meals was perfect. The condo is quiet and far away enough from the local dregs to make it a real sanctuary in America's southernmost city.

What a great place to stay.
This was our second time renting with Last Key in the Truman Annex first time at Promenade to Paradise. There was four of us myself, wife and 2 kids (7years old and 15 months). From eating breakfast on the huge porch to unwinding on spacious couch after a day at the beach we had more than enough room to enjoy. No need to look for a spot to watch the sunset you can from the porch every night. The unit is equipped with everything you need. The pool and grounds are great. What topped it off was working with Shel. Shel is very knowledgeably and was always available if we had any questions.

Absolutely Wonderful!!
Where do I begin? Was it the key lime pie waiting in the fridge from Shel??? Or the beauty of Promenade to Paradise that had us sold the second we walked in. We stumbled across this unit due to our cancellation from Irma. Mills Place is in Truman Annex area of Key West which is close to everything, but far enough that the music and people having fun on Duval is not heard. The grounds and pool are just lovely! The unit was equipped with everything you need to make your vacation... plus more! My husband at one point stated he wished he had his binoculars , I opened a cupboard...3 pair. It was like that all week. We needed for nothing. Last Key was a delight to deal with. Will not disappoint. Shel went above and beyond with his book of trips and recommendations on food and bars. We have been coming to Key West since 1994 and thought we had been everywhere! Shel opened our eyes to several new establishments. Can't wait to get back!

So Clean and Tropical! Perfect Getaway
What a sweet spot in Key West/Truman Annex! Four of us (two couples) traveled from Ohio as first-time visitors to Key West. We weren't sure what to expect, given that hurricane Irma had so recently passed through. To our delight, we were greeted by a perfectly polished unit, in a fantastic location, with a delicious key lime pie as our welcoming surprise! The unit itself is great, the bedrooms are spacious and stay nice and cool, and it is even prettier than the pictures. The kitchen is fully stocked and we didn't feel the need to run out to buy things immediately due to the amenities provided. (We did replace whatever we used though, of course.:)) Shel was wonderful and a wealth of knowledge to make our trip complete. He stopped by to greet us and answer any questions, and made sure we knew how to reach him for anything that may have come up. We had a blast, enjoyed Key West and especially loved coming home to watch the Ohio State Buckeyes grand comeback to beat Penn State in the 4th quarter on the large tv, sitting on the spacious couch! We would definitely love to return to Promenade to Paradise again.

Amazing!
What an incredible place to stay! Promenade to Paradise is an exceptional waterfront home located in Mill Place in the Truman Annex section of Key West. Not only is the unit spacious with spectacular waterfront views...it is equipped with everything a person would need on vacation. Plus more! We have never stayed in a unit that felt more like home than Promenade to Paradise. I would say it is the largest pool in Truman Annex. We started coming to KW in 1994 and have stayed at many different units over the years. This will be the unit we will continue to rent. A huge shout out to Shel! He had tons of info for us to make our trip complete. Plus a beautiful key lime pie was waiting for us on our arrival. Doesn't get much better than Shel!

Perfect!

This is one of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed at. The location was perfect, the Truman Annex was a beautiful area, it's close to everything, and the view was spectacular. It was clean and furnished comfortably and had everything we needed. Last Key Realty was professional in every way and made things so easy, helping us out with making reservations and setting up charters and sailing trips. They also met us at the unit and showed us where everything was. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Best view in Key West!

We just spent 11 glorious days at this property and thoroughly loved every minute of it. My husband and I and our two grown daughters have vacationed on Key West for several years, but this was our favorite property yet. The back porch alone makes this the perfect vacation spot. You have your own personal view of the famous Key West Sunset every evening, without even having to battle the crowds at Mallory Pier. We also spent most mornings enjoying our coffee on the deck and watching the huge cruise ships pull in to the pier. The rest of the home is just as beautiful, with a very well-equipped kitchen and a spacious living room. The master bedroom is beautiful too. Like the rest of Truman Annex, you are within easy walking distance of Duval Street, Mallory Square, and Fort Zachary Taylor beach, but you are far enough removed that you don't have to worry about the noise or people, especially at night. The pool in the complex was very nice too - plenty of room to swim and lots of chairs for relaxing too. My only slight complaint would be the property grounds, but they were undergoing roof repairs, so I think most of the disarray was from that. We will definitely be back!

The name suits this condo well

This was our first key west vacation. Lastkeyrealty.com and Shel were extremely helpful and accommodating. The condo was lovely. It was spacious, clean and roomy. The porch and views made for several fun family game nights. We were a short walking distance to all the excitement of Duval Street, but far enough for quiet time as well. We would highly recommend staying at the Annex and especially this condo.

Best of All

This lovely condo in The Annex is the best of all...best location, amenities and support/ease of rental.

While staying at "Promenade", we walked everywhere and felt very safe doing so. We loved that there were so many excellent restaurants within a short walk. Blue Heaven was a favorite. The best dessert...chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick...yum!

The walk to Fort Taylor for the day was also very doable.

The house, itself, had everything we needed. The decks were lovely. We especially loved watching the ships and sail boats from the main deck. All systems at the house worked perfectly. The bed was comfortable. We appreciated the cable and wi-fi. The pool was refreshing and relaxing and never busy.

Last Key Realty was extremely easy to work with. Shel met us at the condo and went through activities and locations of restaurants. He was very helpful and friendly and made us feel right at home.

When we return to Key West, we will definitely stay at "Promenade".

A truly amazing vacation in Paradise!

Staying at Promenade to Paradise was an amazing experience. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and were exactly what we envisioned for our vacation. The condo was clean, well appointed, and the location offers beautiful views of the water with spectacular sunsets. We were only a few blocks from Duval Street and were able to walk or bike everywhere on the island. Shel, our representative, provided excellent customer service and is a wealth of information being a local for over 30 years. His welcoming and friendly personality made us feel as though we were seeing an old friend.  We loved his recommendations for dining, shopping, renting bicycles, water excursions, fishing, etc. The island is so friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this condo in the Truman Annex. It is close to the nightlife and hustle and bustle of Old Town Key West, yet once entering the gated community you feel as though you are in a pristine, lush tropical compound in "Paradise".

We agree that the location of this condo is perfection. With its expansive water views, Promenade to Paradise feels like an oasis away from it all, yet just a few short blocks away are the most popular areas of Key West including Duval St and Mallory Square. Shel's 30+ years on island certainly prove useful for helping our guests discover the beauty of Key West and create their own adventures. Perfect!

We've stayed in KW many times over the past several years and Promenade to Paradise is our new favorite.  Being in the Truman Annex, it's very close to everything but nice and quiet when you get back home at night.  That can be a tough combination to find in Old Town KW.  The spaciousness of Promenade is another feature you don't see often on Old Town.  The water view from the porches doesn't hurt either. Furthermore, Shel, from Last Key Realty is very, very accommodating. We'll be contacting Last Key Realty for our next visit.

We agree that "Promenade to Paradise" is unique both in its spacious layout and in its serene quiet while being so close to Duval St and Mallory Square. Incredible Property - Perfect for Our Stay

This was one of four properties I rented as part of a family get together. The property was incredibly clean, beautifully furnished, and in a great location for taking advantage of all that Key West has to offer. I would mostly definitely recommend this property to my friends and family. An added bonus was the property representative, Krystal. She was incredibly attentive, had made sure the property was stocked with beverages and groceries upon our arrival, and offered us a concierge service for any and all activities that we wanted to do during our stay. She was incredibly friendly and very professional. Thanks Krystal! Again, I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Missing it already

Can't say enough good things about Promenade. Few places in Key West have a view and deck like this with a almost constant breeze off the water. Dennis was great! We arrived on an early flight and he was able to get us in the unit early and even met us to review the facilities and help carry luggage upstairs. Unit was ultra clean with modern appliances (it's great having a washer and dryer in Key West). Seems like every time we go to Key West we find something new. This time it was the Havana restaurant...a nice alternative to Blue Heaven and a short walk from the unit on Duval. Overall, Truman Annex is one of the nicest areas of Key West, in my opinion, with beautiful foliage and a nice blend of new/old architecture. By the way, this building was designed by Robert Mills who designed the Washington Monument and the Smithsonian so you are living in a little piece of history! Thanks Dennis for all you did!

We will be back!!

Great condo, great location. Close to Duval Street, but in a quiet neighborhood. Great view of gulf. Spent hours sitting on porch watching the boats/water. Pool is right outside the building. Condo was very spacious & had everything you need. Dennis from RE company was very helpful.

Absolutely delightful vacation here!

The listing described this property perfectly and as soon as we walked in, we felt at home. We spent every evening on the verandah watching those glorious sunsets...heaven. We had lots of room for 4 adults and the beds were very comfortable. Dennis was an excellent property manager, keeping in touch pre-arrival, meeting us on arrival, giving us some local tips and directions, and keeping in touch during our stay. We have already recommended the property to friends.

Awesome!!

Very nice place had everything we needed! We own a furniture store and are usually very unhappy with beds in condos! But it was a nice mattress! ?????? Very roomy and Lost Key was the agency that let us in and showed us around! They done a great job! Would love to rent this place again one day!
