Great Stay & Guest Service

Great stay in key west. Pool was better than expected. Lots of extras included such as beach chairs, towels, sun screen, a key lime pie in the fridge. Had a problem with pull out sleeper sofa. Amber handled it very quickly and a new couch showed up the next morning. Awesome hostess and service. Would love to go back sometime soon!

Fun Girls Trip

We stayed in May 2024 for a girls trip. The locations was pretty convenient to walk but it was so hot we wound up renting a golf cart for ease. We worked with Amber who was extremely lovely and accommodating. The luggage hold was also super helpful. The house was very clean and well stocked for what we needed. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was good. We were able to door dash food from a grocery store.

Place was great!

Incredibly nice place

Hosts a private pool (can pay extra to have it heated per night), second story and lower deck for outdoor spaces, secluded in a very quiet area. One side of the street is undeveloped which further cuts down on traffic and noise. Extremely close walking to everything we had on our list for the trip, we used our car only once in the week for a grocery store trip. Host was very kind.

We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay in Puerta Coralina so much. The house just oozes charm and that Key West “vibe”. The pool was the perfect respite from the heat of the day, and we enjoyed just relaxing after long days exploring the city. Most of our evenings were spent on the front porch or on the upstairs balcony overlooking the neighborhood. We can’t wait to be back to this little cottage in paradise!

Ideal Location in Old Town

The location of the house was perfect!! In walking distance to everything we wanted to do and oh so quiet at night. The outside deck area was wonderful for chatting and enjoying a glass of wine. The home itself was very clean and very comfortable as the days were beginning to heat up. Will stay again for sure!!

Great vacation, great house!!  Puerta Coralina is a beautiful house in a great location, especially if you're a history buff, like me.  Front row views of the KW cemetery and nightly sunsets on the second floor deck were a real treat.  Inside, it's nicely decorated and set up with all the supplies you need.  The dip pool in the back was perfect for a quick dip on a hot day.  Hop on your bike or scooter and you are seconds away from restaurants, shopping and bars.  Next time I come to KW, I know where I'm staying!

My family and I created lasting memories

Great house with all the amenities you could need

Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The property itself is clean and in good shape. They have lots of amenities that you may want already at the place. Plenty of dishes, silverware, etc. Fridge with an ice maker. Laundry machines and large dishwasher. The rooms had box fans available in the closet, which was so nice because we always sleep with one and miss it when traveling. The pool and backyard area were perfect for us too. You won't regret picking this place. It's a little walk from some of the more popular areas, but we wouldn't hesitate to stay there as opposed to someplace right off Duval.

Thank you for a great honeymoon!

We rented this property for a few days on our honeymoon and we will definitely be renting it again. We would also love to see the other rental properties available because we had such a good experience. The house was so cute, very clean and supplied us with essentials. We spent a lot of time in the backyard enjoying the plunge pool, which felt like a get away from the lively streets!

Pics don't do it justice! We miss the Oasis already!

We had the best time here! Thank you, Last Key and Puerta Coralina for hosting - we couldn’t have found a better location on our own. We were close enough to have a good after-breakfast walk (straight up Olivia Street) to either the Hemingway house or Duval Street, but we were still far enough away from the clubs at night to sleep like babies. The close proximity to the cemetery gave us a great one-lap walking trek each evening. The upstairs deck was great for sunning, and the downstairs plunge pool deck was lush, cool and shady for relaxing after walking around in the heat. The pass-through window from the kitchen, immediately adjacent to the margarita blender and citrus cutting board cinched our christening the downstairs back deck: “The Oasis”. I’ll echo others in saying: the online pics don’t do it justice. Past houses have frequently surprised us with how much smaller they looked in person - Puerta Coralina worked the opposite way. Having been to KW before, we were pleasantly surprised by the size and the amenities, as well as the full support of their concierge staff via very unobtrusive text access. Thank you Last Key! We’l definitely see you again.

Fabulous Historic Home

Absolutely fantastic. The house is a really cute 1940s place that’s been very well updated without losing that historic charm. Location is really interesting next to the historic cemetery, with easy access to the museums, restaurants, and art galleries in Old Town. Quiet, clean, comfortable, and safe, with wonderful local art all over the house. Sam was amazing to work with!

Perfection

My only complaint is that I had to leave! Absolutely perfect. The dip pool was so refreshing after a day/night of being out on the town. Perfect location to easily access everything Key West has to offer by foot or bike yet far enough away from the noise of downtown. The house is thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need. We will be back!

We truly enjoyed our stay!

We have stayed at many vrbo's but this was by far the cleanest! Very well-stocked kitchen and more than enough towels including pool towels. The location was very quiet, yes the cemetery on one side sure helps, but we were within 5-7 min by bicycle @ the southernmost point, Duval St and Mallory Square...the same by Uber to Sunset Cruise and the Reach where we attended a wedding! Sure a place to stay again on a future visit. The pool was a great cool-off/relaxing spot after a hot day of exploring! Thanks for everything!!!

Everyone loved it - the pups too!

Our family of four + two dogs had a wonderful stay at Puerta Coralina. Centrally located in Key West and in easy walking distance of all our favorite spots. Charmingly appointed with everything we needed. Great TVs and WiFi to enjoy the Olympics when we weren’t out and about. And the back deck and pool were wonderful to return to. Everything was very well marked and information about the property was readily available. Last Key/Samantha responded to every question or request we made promptly. Enjoyed every minute.

Wonderful Trip!

Five blocks from Duval but easy to access by car. Samantha was the best and was readily available for any questions. Pool was warm which was perfect for cooler weather, great lounge chairs upstairs and on the back porch. Kitchen we stocked with cooking supplies.

Such a Great Time

4 friends all converged at different times in the day, but you all were accommodating to offer luggage storage until check in. By the time the 4th arrived at least one body was floating in the pool. We thought we would be out every moment of the day exploring, but the amenities provided at this location made it almost a staycation. Being next to the cemetery made for quiet neighbors.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better summertime family home..

If you like Old Key West this is the perfect affordable (by Key West standards) house to stay in. Our family of 5 found the house to be the perfect size. For a summertime stay a plunge pool is vital because anytime you walk somewhere you will want to jump in when you get home. The back yard is totally private. After the first couple of days on Duval St, beaches, fishing, etc you will want to sit in the shade of the backyard or in the pool and enjoy a frozen drink (the owners supply an excellent blender) and just wait for the iguanas to walk across the top of the fence and say hello. It's about 3/4 mile up Olivia St to Duval St. Pro tip - take a day and go to Ft Zachary Taylor beach in the rental car. $8 to park but once the spaces are full they close the doors so the beach is never really crowded. IN the summer, try to keep the clock on low latitude time, get up early, go out and do something, then hang out at the house until evening when it cools down again. Take a guiltless nap. Overall I can't imagine a better house for a family to spend a week in.

Great Location & Comfortable Home

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Puerta Coralina! It's a very nice and comfortable house, with a lot of character, in a great location for exploring Key West. All Around Excellent

This property was fantastic. Great location if you plan on exploring Key West. This property has been painstakingly restored and is in beautiful condition. It is a very comfortable home with a refreshing plunge pool in the private backyard.

 

Be prepared to be pampered by Last Key Realty. From the initial making of the reservation several months ago to the day of check out, Last Key Realty has been phenomenal. We have rented many homes and cabins throughout the years but have never experienced such a professional and detail-driven company as this. What an Amazing Trip!

This was such an amazing trip for my group! Of course because of Key West itself but this property was so lovely and the listing and pictures just don’t do it justice! This immaculate house has everything we couldn’t bring with us. We spent most of the hot days in the pool listening to music and watching the iguanas walk along the fence. After partying on Duval we would congregate on the sun deck and admire the cemetery and talk about the history of the island (after our ghost tour). The property manager Monique was so sweet and was in constant communication about how the property ran and fun places to visit on the island, even had a Key Lime pie waiting for us upon check in! It was really a magical vacation made completely possible by how comfortable and at home we were all made to feel in this home!

Fantastic from Start to Finish

From the moment we contacted Alex at Last Key Realty we had a great experience.  We just returned from our stay in Puerta Coralina and we were very pleased with every detail.  From the cleanliness to the private pool to the great staff including Sam - the guest service coordinator.  The home boasts 2 large master bedrooms plus 3 full baths and an outside shower.  Every amenity you would need to cook, eat and relax is in the house.  The washer and dryer were great because we washed the pool towels (also provided).  It is a fair walk to everything -- but we like that part or we took Uber (never more than $10).  When we return, we will surely consider this property again.

Back Patio is Perfect!

Even though the home is right beside the cemetery...DO NOT let that deter you from staying!!! The back patio is a perfect hangout spot and the plunge pool is certainly a welcome sight at the end of a day in town. The kitchen was stocked welll. The bedrooms are very large! We will stay again!

Charming & Spacious

Beautiful Property!

Beautiful, clean property! The Pool was the perfect temperature. We were even greeted with a key lime pie in the fridge! Outdoor shower was wonderful, plenty of hot water, and the free concierge was a huge bonus. They booked all our excursions and had our scooter delivered for no additional charge. The King bed was extremely comfy. Would absolutely stay here again!

Spacious & adorable!

We have stayed at Puerta Carolina several times and each time it does not disappoint.  The small pool in the backyard is private and includes an outside shower. There are plenty of towels/linens and the kitchen is stocked to meet all basic needs. The walk to Duval street takes about 15 - 20 minutes. Last Key Realty did an excellent job making sure the house was clean and answering any questions we had.

This property is a real gem!

We wanted s Covid-safe get away for my birthday weekend and having this whole house and pool to ourselves was perfect. It was super clean (and I’m picky - lol) and charmingly decorated. I loved sitting on the upper deck to read and the private backyard was great for swimming and dining. Fully stocked kitchen and thoughtful extras such as pool towels and sunscreen, board games and books. Location was great and allowed us to walk to restaurants (happy so many had safer outdoor dining), to Duval, etc.

Excellent property... spacious, all appliances are 1st class including a modern kitchen, TV, pool, bath rooms, bedrooms. Pictures are accurate. The only challenge is finding a need by parking place.

Transcendence beckons

This cottage is a treasure. We bit the bullet on the price b/c nothing else was available in our time frame (and without much advance planning), but had a magical time. While the bedrooms are spacious, kitchen exceedingly well-equipped, neighborhood peaceful, etc - the key to heaven is the plunge pool. Warmer than the night air, utterly private, not overlooked from any angle. Your view above is overhanging palm trees. Like a giant bathtub. Follow it with the outdoor shower. Repeat.

Perfect House in Key West

Great house in a very convenient location

About a 20 minute walk to the Southernmost area of Key West and the same distance to the sunset pier areas. Tons of dog friendly bars and restaurants and a very well done house to come home to. Perfect for the 3 adults and dog.

WFH in Paradise

My husband and I were looking to switch-up our WFH environment, and decided to head down to Key West for the week. Puerta Coralina couldn't have served as a better 'home-away-from-home' for us! Besides the house being in a great location on the island, it was clean, had everything we needed, the hosts were super responsive...and that private, heated pool tho! We will definitely be back.

Great Location

We took our bikes and rode them to all of our favorite places being so central to all of Key West. We loved being by the cemetery as it’s so beautiful and full of history and roosters. The rooftop deck was also great and the pool was the perfect size. We also liked the little shop/deli close by to grab things as needed. Neighbors were nice and we had no problem parking. Fantastic Property!

This home in Key West was perfect for our long weekend getaway. The home is immaculate and everything in perfect working order. We had everything we needed and more. This is an adorable and beautifully restored home. It is close to Duval and other prime areas, but just enough off the main drag to be quiet. Perfection in Paradise

The Coralina House in Old Town was pretty amazing.....often what you see in a listing doesn’t live up to expectations, but in this case it not only met, but exceeded what we’d hoped for. It began with the check-in process where Samantha M proactively contacted us and ensured that the property was available and in perfect condition for our arrival. All of our friends and family that chose “less-well” in their accommodations were pretty jealous after strolling through our place equipped with 2 master bedrooms, upper deck, lower pool and tasteful furnishings throughout. We’ll definitely recommend a stay here at the Coraline House for your next visit to Key West!

Rent bikes and it is a short ride to everything. The cottage has big rooms....comfortable beds....3 full bathrooms....enjoy sitting on upstairs balcony, front porch, and patio. Pool is very very small but nice to cool off in.

10 out of 10!

We left south Palm Beach to avoid hurricane Dorian and headed to the keys last minute. The house is well appointed, very clean and nicely furnished. We had all the necessities we needed, clean towels, beach towels, kitchen included everything we needed as we cooked most of our meals on property. The location was a surprise, but Samantha, the property manager and her team were outstanding. We lost cable on Sunday morning and Samantha was on it. We got it back by noon and Sam stopped by to make sure all was well. She is amazing, energetic, kind and very thoughtful. She made our stay a 10/10. Thanks. Location is a number of blocks from downtown, but we enjoyed the walk and exercise. There is an excellent fish restaurant a block away. 7 Fish, I think.

Puerta Coralina was the perfect house for us

 

Upon arrival we were delighted to see a pie and drinks provided by our host, Samantha, in the refrigerator. Having three beds and three full bathrooms made for a comfortable stay. The home is spacious and the outdoor pool and shower hit the spot at the end of a hot day. The pool is surrounded by a fence & trees creating a private oasis. There is a free bus that runs about every 15 minutes making it easy to get around, however most places were within a 20 minute walking distance. We would consider staying here again without any hesitation.

Our vacation was nothing short of fantastic

We rented Puerta Coralina with Last Key Realty in Key West. The house was in great condition, well furnished and very clean. We were a 10-15 walk to everything we wanted to do. The private pool was the perfect place to relax anytime of day. Sam, with Last Key, was great to work with. She was responsive, accommodating and we truly felt like she wanted us to have the best vacation possible. She even had margaritas and key lime pie waiting for us when we arrived. We had a fabulous time

Sam at Last Key was super sweet, knowledgeable and passionate about the island and making sure our stay was the very best it could be. She provided thoughtful tips and suggestions and listened to our preferences. Do rent a sail boat excursion, a scooter to sightsee and Blue Heaven was our favorite restaurant. We had a wonderful stay at Puerta Coralina

The home is beautiful and comfortable. Although we didn't coo meals at the home there were spices available and even some containers of coffee and filters!! Samantha was awesome!! She met us at the house and gave us lots of options of things to do and transportation. She even had some local craft beer and a key lime pie in the fridge for our arrival which we thought was a very nice gift. The bedrooms were very nice with comfortable beds and one room had a very large deck off of it which we liked in the mornings and evenings. We would definitely return!!! All the sights and shops are within walking distance which is very nice. We did use Uber a few times and it was very quick.

Family Vacay

We took our kids and grand daughter to Key West and stayed at Puerta Coralina. The house is adorable and had plenty of room for us to hang out together. The kitchen is spacious and the outdoor areas had enough seating for everyone. Puerto Coralina has a ton of character and Key West charm. Alex was very friendly and helpful. She brought extra items for the baby and took the time to get to know us a bit and address any needs we might have. Everything was in walking distance, we wouldn’t change a thing about the house and hope to come back!

Highly recommended! Porta Coralina is an adorable little cottage in Old Town. Super location, cozy, clean and includes nice amenities including a little oasis and pool in the yard. We stayed at Puerta Coralina for Fantasy Fest

Our host Amanda Anderson was great! She met us at the property and showed us all the amenities and how to use everything in the house. She even had water with custom Koozies with our names and fruit plates waiting for us. The house itself was amazing. The secluded patio and pool were great for relaxing while having a cocktail in the morning before starting our days adventures and a late-night dip in the pool after arriving home from a night on Duval St. The house was clean and well maintained. The bedrooms were spacious each with its own bathroom and one with French doors and an upstairs deck with nice views. There was plenty of on street parking around the house and we were no more than a 5-15 minute walk from anywhere we wanted to go. We would highly recommend this property and Last Key Realty to anyone visiting Key West and will be using them again for our trip back next year. Thanks Again Amanda!

Perfect location for a getaway in Key West

My husband and I have been to the Keys in the past with our children and stayed in a similar area. We did not need as much space this trip because it was just he and I. This property is clean, and just what we needed for a quick getaway. Nothing fancy but it has a washer and dryer, dishwasher, and outdoor shower which we loved and a small pool for cooling off in the afternoons. We also really enjoyed The upstairs outdoor patio. It was a great place to unwind and download from the day with a glass of wine each night. The location is absolutely perfect. We rented bikes and walked, or rode our bikes everywhere. You are on Duval StreetWithin a few minutes on a bike ride as well as many other terrific restaurants and bars. We even rode bikes to the fort and enjoyed the scenery of the trails. Last key concierge is who we use to book this property and they were amazing!

The Perfect Spot in Key West

The perfect spot to stay in Key West. It's close to Duval but not so close that you can't escape the noise and have a quiet dinner on the deck. It's proximity to the cemetery is fantastic for nature lovers (so many birds!) and ghost tour seekers alike. The home was inviting and the pool was divine. Each bedroom has it's own private bathroom, which was great for traveling with friends. The hosts could not have been easier to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again.

Close to everything

Our running joke when we were looking up where the next restaurant or shop we wanted to go to was--It is 0.6 miles away! because we seemed close to everything. We just returned from Key West and our stay at Puerta Coralina. We would love to stay again! It was walkable to everything we wanted to do. It is in a quiet area near Old Town near many of the best restaurants in Key West. However you can also walk to party on Duval or to do the tourist things, like Hemingway house or the Truman annex. The house was stocked with anything you would need. There was laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent, plastic wrap, storage bags, spices, sugar. There were beach chairs, towels, and sunblock. You get a "concierge" who asks what you like and stocked our "bar" with everything to make our favorite cocktail Mojito--including the rum! The fridge has an ice maker and the concierge made sure we had orange juice (and prosecco for mimosas) and coffee for the coffeemaker so that we did not have to run out to the grocery store on arrival. There is a front porch and back patio so you can follow the sun--or the shade. The small pool is more of a cool dip than an exercise option but it has a waterfall that gives the back patio a nice audio cover for traffic noise which was minimal. However it does not cover the airplane noise--unfortunately the house is under a flight path that is frequently used in the day. We did not notice any noise at night. And the noise was not so bad that we did not enjoy sitting out. The beds are comfortable. The house is air-conditioned and the bedrooms have additional room units and fans so that you can custom control the sleep climate. You have your own en-suite baths for both bedrooms and another full bath downstairs if you need to use the sofa for another person(s). The house is comfortably furnished. We felt this cottage provided everything you could want for your Key West holiday. Don't hesitate to book!

Perfect Key West

Amanda is everything the other reviews stated! She prepared an awesome birthday welcome for my daughter with champagne and cakes! She also prepared some beach toys for our granddaughter. BEAUTIFUL house nestled in the center of paradise!

Made this house our home for four nights during our family vacation in Key West. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect house! The fine folks at Last Key Realty, especially Amanda, went out of their/her way to make us feel welcome, thank you!!! The home was beautifully decorated, and CLEAN. Well stocked, we had everything we needed. Our 2 young children loved the pool, it was perfect for coming back to after a hot day and cooling off! Perfect Key West cottage!

My family and I stayed at Puerta Carolina during a recent 5 day vacation in Key West. The home was perfect for our family of 5. The home was meticulously maintained and was equipped with everything we needed. The pool in the backyard was great for cooling off after a day on Duval street. Ecellent place, well stocked, clean & serene back yard with pool!

Located several blocks from Duval and within easy bike ride to anywhere around the island. We loved that it was not too close to the more heavy populated tourist area but we could ride our bikes and be anywhere within 5-10 minutes. The house is well kept and the concierge is wonderful. They had set up the place in honor of our 24th anniversary w flowers, pie and our favorite drinks! We had another couple with us and the place was plenty roomy for us all w 2 master suites. The place is well stocked in the kitchen as well as bath and beach towels along with laundry products for the washer/dryer is provided. We did provide feedback that the bedroom, with a super balcony, needs to have some window dressing updates to eliminate so much light coming in from the outdoor guard light. We also thought there needs to be extra shelf above the bath vanities for easy access but really, regardless of these items, I would not hesitate to immediately stay here again! Highly recommend!

Awesome house - great kitchen, deck and pool, and decor. Everything is better than advertised

This was a great choice and great value located in the middle of Key West. Walking distance to middle of Duval St. The house came stocked with basics, making shopping much easier. Cannot say enough about the agency-- stocked the fridge with treats for our arrival. We had the AC malfunction and after a quick call, they got it working again within an hour. The downstairs and outside areas were great communal space. The only word of caution would be how many can comfortably sleep in the house. It has a king bed, queen bed, and pullout couch mattress that leaves much to be desired. Great for two couples, maybe five people to share.

A slice of paradise in Key West

From the moment we arrived we were met by the most wonderful Property Manager, Amanda. she not only made our late night reservation for us at a wonderful restaurant around the corner called 7 Fish, but she made sure we were well equipped with groceries i.e. eggs, muffins, key lime pie, guava pastries, melons, nuts, just to mention a few items. The house was terrific, spacious, clean, well maintained, very cute, very comfortable and located in a great area. Once we parked the truck we never moved it, we rented bicycles and rode them all over. We were able to bike to the marina where we went parasailing, jet skiing, and deep sea fishing. My wife and two daughter age 15 and 16 had a wonderful and very memorable time. we definitely will use Last Key Realty and Amanda again!

Comfy and well appointed as well as a perfect location to park the car once and walk anywhere

We could not have asked for a better location or a more well appointed place to stay. Upon arrival the house was very clean and as neat as a pin. The three bathrooms were perfect for our group of five and the plunge pool was a nice relief after a day of walking the island. This house is much roomier than how it is depicted in the photographs. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware for making breakfast or even dinner. The electric grill out on the patio was a nice surprise that we were able to use also. With cable and secure Wi-Fi throughout the house we were able to stay connected with family and friends and post our travel adventure pics to our Facebook pages. Within a short walk of a few blocks we found grocery and convenience stores for items we wanted to stock the fridge with. Within that 3 to 4 block radius we found a fresh fish market, several eateries and an excellent French bakery that I highly recommend for their croissants and baguettes. Our stay was over the New Year's weekend and I want to commend Amanda Anderson of Last Key Realty for the extra attention to detail that she provided for our stay. She had a goody bag full of New Year's party favors, hats, noisemakers and balloons for our celebration. But the surprises did not end there, she had 2 bottles of celebratory champagne and a fresh delicious Key Lime Pie for us in the fridge. Amanda really did go above and beyond our expectations. It is this attention to detail and the great property that make us want to return again and again to Key West. Thank you so much from all of us for making this our best vacation holiday ever. Anyone considering taking a house for a week would not be disappointed by this lovely property. For one you're getting much more space than you would at a hotel or guesthouse. Our most memorable times were having coffee or drinks on the front or back porches. And the upper deck is great for catching some sun. Due to it's central location it's an easy 10 to 15 minute walk to Duval street or to the north or south end. Thank you again for such a great vacation!

Wonderful Place to Stay

We spent my 50th birthday at this amazing home. We had two couples and two dogs and could not have picked a better home. We had two issues and our Guest Services Coordinator, Amanda, was on top of it in no time. She is awesome and we could not have had a better stay and she is a big part of the reason. The pool is nice and is perfect to get in after a day out in Key West. The beds are comfy and everything was just perfect. We will definitely be back to Key West and this great home! Christmas in Key West

Our family (my wife and I 2 adult children and friend) have been visiting Key West for years. We have traditionally stayed at the Casa Marina, however this year we chose to explore living like a local. We feel very fortunate to have discovered Last key realty. The house we rented was just as charming as advertised. We loved the neighborhood as it was within walking distance of everything. The house was very clean and had almost every amenity you could think of. While we prefer to eat out most nights (7 fish is 2 blocks away) the kitchen was complete and perfect for meal preparation.

The interest and pride the owner takes in this property is obvious and the attentiveness of "Shel" the guest services manager was wonderful. He even arranged to have a Christmas tree set up and lit for our arrival on Christmas eve.

We would recommend this property to anyone who is interested in feeling part of the community.

We rented bikes and found that these allowed us to commute everywhere. In fact the bikes appeared to be far better than a car as the vehicular traffic was congested while the bike traffic on the easily accessible bike paths was light. We loved our off shore fishing trip out of Hurricane Hole marina as well as our day of spear fishing. Both trip yielded a bounty of fresh fish which the local restaurants were happy to cook for us. We also enjoyed discovering the beautiful outdoor pool at the Key West Community College where, for 5 dollars a day you can swim laps in a clean pool with a friendly life guard staff.

The only disappointment we experienced during our stay was the moment we realized we needed to leave.

Relaxing vacation in a cozy cottage

We enjoyed a week in Key West sharing time with friends.  The cottage was a delightful venue for our vacation. Upon our arrival we were met by Shel, the property manager. He was helpful in showing us through the house and offering tips for enjoying our stay. This was a nice touch. There were six of us (three couples) and we spent most of our time outside on the back deck and in the dipping pool. The area is small, but intimate, lush with tropicals, and private. The kitchen is adjacent to the outdoor living space allowing for easy access for food and drinks. Although the kitchen is small it was adequate for the meals we prepared...we mostly used the gas grill. The layout is nice with 2 B/Rs upstairs and a sleeper sofa downstairs...each with a private bathroom. The bathrooms were all newly remodeled and very clean. We found a sweet little flower shop (called Gourmet Nibbles and Flowers, I think) one block away to buy fresh flowers for our table. The guys there were terrific. We rented bicycles and scooters, so we traveled the town on foot and on wheels. The house is centrally located to all our activities.  The grocery and liquor stores are within walking distance. We visited several beaches and found Fort Zachary to be our favorite, with Higgs rating second for its convenience. We had breakfast at Blue Heaven three mornings...obviously a favorite. Our late night snacks came from Sandy’s, a small take away food spot. We scored delicious fresh local shrimp from the seafood stand on the corner White and Truman. Our best Cuban sandwich was from Havana One (two blocks away on Truman). We had a wonderful week and made lots of fun memories. Thank you to homeowners and to Shel. We hope to return soon.

I thought that the decorating and furnishings set it apart from the routine rental. A warm, friendly and ultimately comfortable setting. Despite the rather heavily settled neighborhood, nighttimes were very quiet and restful. The responsiveness of Mr. Shel Segal to our every question and call were extraordinary. The few issues we needed help on were met by him in fast and cheerful fashion. He did so much to make our week's stay memorable. We hope very much indeed to be back at this same house in the future. Key West family get-away

Listing description was accurate, a very nice rental cottage. Had problems initially with the HVAC system, however it was fixed very quickly. Also had an issue with the washing machine, but we were reimbursed for our trouble. Shel was great with responding to all our concerns. I would recommend this property. Shel made it a point to ensure we knew all the cottage's features and had terrific recommendations for attractions and dining out. Blue Heaven, Camille's and Azur were wonderful. We loved being in-town and not having to worry about renting a car. We rode bikes nearly everywhere we went and found this to be the best transportation mode. We had family in from Calif., Va and NC and all had a blast. We hope to visit again and will make it a point to rent from Last Key Realty.

This was quite simply the perfect spot for us! The house was immaculate and quite comfortable. The pool and back patio were out favorite hangouts for the entire week we were there. Between the pool and the AC inside the house we had no trouble staying cool. Having a grill there was also quite handy when we just wanted a night in. The location was terrific despite the cemetery adjacency. We walked to everything. Though I wouldn't recommend walking to the beach by Fort Zachary Taylor. That was a bit far. Overall we had 0 complaints. Shel was terrific in giving us recommendations. We truly had the best vacation ever.

Great place to stay in Key West

Perfect place to stay in Key West.  Short walk down to Duval Street (bars & restaurants). The house was very clean and nice. Two big bedrooms (with bathrooms) and an open living room area. The backyard is small but private and perfect for an intimate group. The soaker pool is very welcomed. The owner was one of the best features. He was waiting at the house to show us around and even left a list of recommended places to eat/activities. Very helpful.

Wonderful Vacation House

Shel (the property manager) met us at the house when we arrived....(EVERYTHING looked just as it did as the on-line photos), he gave us the keys even though it was 4 hours before check-in....nice surprise.....walked us around and explained everything to us, also gave us a list of his favorite places to eat (he was spot-on with all of his suggestions). The week we spent at the house was wonderful.....great PRIVATE pool, three beautiful full baths.....a truly comfortable house. During the week we spent there, we "ran into" Shel at least 4 times, as we walked the short distance up  to Duval Street.....each time, he stopped his car to talk to us.....very personable, and, knowledgeable about Key West. The house was a much better alternative than a hotel, but, it was Shel, with his friendly personality and great understanding of Key West, that made it not only a wonderful place to stay, but also a fantastic vacation. We will be staying here again the next time we visit Key West.

Great House - Slightly off the beaten path

The house was great, pool worked well (Salt water pool), everything was very clean. House easily slept 7 adults. Nice outdoor patio, and high ceilings. Shel was very nice and helpful. The only issue is the house is 6 - 7 blocks east of Duval, so if you plan to walk to all the Bars on on the north end of Duval or Dante's it can be a bit of a walk, especially in the August heat and humidity. Taxi's from the house are not too expensive, so it isn't a major issue, but something to keep in mind. Also, I read in earlier reviews the AC was having issues, when I stayed there they had just installed brand new ones, so they worked great. I would stay here again.

Puerta Coralina

This house that at first impression may seem small was in fact quite spacious for four adults and the decks provide extra space that opens up the downstairs and the upstairs. The ambiance is one of quaintness with a mixture of old structural elements and tasteful modern furniture. The overall effect is charming. In our experience it has been a good place to come back to after day or evenings activities, it was too hot in August to spend time on the decks or in the (nice) little garden, undoubtedly at another time of the year one can take greater advantage of the place. We particularly liked the diversity of the neighborhood since it allowed us to experience different aspects of Key West, from the beautiful architecture of the old, grandiose houses to the small un-renovated conch houses or the ancient cemetery that make up the surrounding area (this of course could be  personal). Noteworthy in the area also the magnificent trees, tropical plants and gardens. We certainly recommend this house, particularly for adults: the house was very well equipped, it has new bathrooms and the service management provided was excellent.

Great place for family vacation

We were five adults (husband and me, plus two sons and family friend in late 20s) staying five nights. Although this 2 bdr house is compact, a privacy advantage was the 3 full baths (our younger son who slept on the sofa bed downstairs had his own bathroom off the living room). Our dachshund might have found the steps to the second floor a bit steep but he's easily carried so that's a minor matter. Shel made us feel right at home from the moment he met us at front door with the keys. He provided lots of information on restaurants, bakeries, etc. in town, and things to do that fit our interests. The house was clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed a couple of barbeque dinners on the patio, the kids took a dip in the pool (which has an outdoor shower), and my husband enjoyed the sun deck off the master bedroom. I liked the fact that there is little traffic up by the cemetery (!). The few times that we used the car, we could always find a parking spot near our front door when we returned. It was quiet yet just an 8 minute walk or so to the action on Duval Street. There are good neighborhood restaurants within walking distance. My favorite (to which we drove, however) was "Azur." Pricey but definitely memorable if you are a foodie. I'd warn you away from street side food stalls; not a good value for the cost. We enjoyed scuba-diving and snorkeling--a boat excursion gives a different perspective on the scene and is a nice change from the bustle of the town. Of the beaches, Higgs was the best. I recommend taking the "Old Town Trolley" tour when you first arrive, for an overview of the town's history. Try to get Louie as your conductor; unlike another conductor we had, Louie tells you ahead of time what you'll be seeing next (you won't be craning your neck peering back at something the bus has already passed)--and he's very funny to boot. Audobon House (where John Audobon spent some 6 wks during trips to make a record of native birds of Florida) seems an overlooked treasure of Key West. When we visited we had a private tour of the ground floor; there were only a few people upstairs on the self-guided tour. Also, in the fantastic garden of exotic trees and plants it felt much cooler than on the street. Ah, wonderfully restorative Nature--let's keep it that way! A good time was had by all on this family vacation.

The only suprise was that the house looks much bigger on photo that actually is!

Fantasy Fest

My friends & I had a simply wonderful time down in Key West for Fantasy Fest partially due to our choice in rental home and the property manager, Shel!! The rental property at 901 Grinnell is a classic Key West home, adorably appointed and in a great location. It was just a short walk to quaint local restaurants/cafes and only several blocks from all the famous fun of Duval Street. The house itself was perfect size for our party of four. We especially appreciated the ensuite bathrooms in both bedrooms and the additional full bathroom downstairs. The pool was small, yet beautifully done and practical. It was nice to have a patio (with grill) as well as an upstairs sunning deck. Also, Shel, the property manager, was a true delight! When he met us at check in, he was so sweet and full of suggestions on local restaurants, stores, etc. I would undoubtedly recommend the rental property at 901 Grinnell!

Perfect location - walking distance to everything you will want to see. Fabulous garden pool and very comfortable rooms. Quiet neighborhood and had no trouble finding parking. Would definitely stay here again. The Last Key folks helped us get this reservation minutes before we departed and helped again with other needs after we arrived. Great team!

Perfect for 2 couples!

Most places that I checked to stay in Key West, had one master suite and then the other couple would have had to stay in a room with no bathroom. This works very well for 2 couples-even beds and baths. One bedroom does have a deck and one doesn't, but that is the only difference. The house was painted nice colors and everything was kept up very nicely. It had little notes about some of the historic things in the house. Two couples stayed here very comfortably for a week. We cooked in a lot and everything was provided. We had a very nice time in the neighborhood, also. Great neighbors and friendly people. Sheldon did an awesome job--he is the perfect person to manage properties--very friendly and helpful. The only thing a bit disappointing was the pool. It is pretty small and one of the pictures makes it look much larger. The lap pool part did not work-- but we didn't really care about that. Also- beware that you must pay extra if you want the pool heated. I would go here again!

Great Cottage in Old Town

This was a perfect cottage for our Key West vacation. The description of the property in the listing was spot on and we couldn't have asked for more. Shel, the guest services manager met us at the cottage at check in to go over the property with us and answer any questions we had. This is great as I compare it to the property we are staying at during the second week of our vacation on Big Pine Key, no one met us, called us, or has checked in on us. It would have been nice to have someone stop in to go over a few of things. That was not a concern with this rental in Key West. Shel was great in making sure we were all set and knew how to contact him with any further questions, needs, or recommendations. The property was clean and generally well maintained. I would definitely recommend this property. This was our third stay in Key West and this was the best place we have rented. The things we enjoy doing are going out with Danger Charters, taking a private charter with Capt. Tommy of Take Me There Charters, dogs welcome. We also enjoyed Prana Spa. Sara Beth's for breakfast is a favorite as is Azur for breakfast and dinner. Blue Heaven is always fun. Mojito's at the White Tarpon and our new find, pork tacos at the tequilla bar underneath the Roof Top Cafe on Front street. Also I would highly recommend stopping in to Green World Gallery on Duval and saying hello to Koz, tell him Jennifer and Jason from New Hampshire sent you. Great guy and I love his work. I have bought 5 pieces from him over the last two years. But even if you don't like his art or want to buy any he's a lot of fun to talk to.

An outstanding family vacation

Loved Key West and the whole experience was superbly enabled by Last Key Realty. We were treated so professionally and courtiously by Last Key that I will always seek their assistance when vacationing / relocating to Key West. A charming house and a great stay

Five of us stayed at Peurto Coralina for a week in spring 2013.

The house is a charming little conch house and is a really nice size for 2 couples +/- 1 or 2 small children.  The backyard is nicely laid out and the pool refreshing, if small.

The location is terrific - far enough out of town to be quiet and still able to get a park near to your house, but close enough to be within a comfortable 10-15 minute walk down to Duval Street and all it has to offer.

Finally the service provided by Last Key Realty was exceptional and Shel was terrifically helpful.

One of Our Best Vacations Ever!

We have never rented a vacation home before via the Internet and have never been to Key West. We fell in love with this home online and rented it. It was more than we expected as was the service we received.

We loved that the home is not overly remodeled- that it contains much of it's original charm. The property was clean, spacious and well maintained. It is situated on a quiet street that is a real neighborhood in the old town area of Key West. It is within walking and biking distance to everything. The property is enclosed w/ a fence, which was great for privacy and allowed us to hang out with our dog. The backyard pool and outdoor shower were nice amenities. The house felt like home.

Shel, the guest services coordinator, provided us with some excellent recommendations re: restaurants, shops etc. We would rent this home again and recommend it to friends who want a charming Key West home.

Quaint, Peaceful, Delightful Home and Management

I was very impressed with everything about this quaint and charming Home. It has been completely updated with all new and comfortable furniture and has a fully equipped kitchen. The open floor space makes it live large and was more than comfortable for our family!

Key West Vacation

Although it is unfortunate that these guests did not get the best weather over their stay in Key West, it is important to remember that a great vacation home can take away some of the sting of losing the weather lottery during your trip. This home has plenty of space for everyone to stretch out, plus the pool can still be used for fun on a rainy day as it gets a bit of shade cover from the rain, has an infinity swim function, and can be heated. The flat screen TV's in each room provide a good rainy day distraction, plus a fully equipped kitchen can make the best of meals at home on a rainy night. Although we cannot guarantee that all guests will get the best weather possible for their trip, what we can guarantee is our guests will get the best possible service during their stay, and have a nice place to enjoy until the rain stops.

Very Pleased with Puerta Coralina!

From the time we walked in the door, all 4 of us knew this was the perfect place for our Key West visit. Downstairs there was a cute front porch that led to the living room/dining area... perfect for 2 couples. The Kitchen was stocked with everything we would have needed to make a meal, however we mostly dined out :o) Outside the kitchen was the back deck with a small pool in a very tropical setting. The sleeping accommodations were perfect with 2 nice size bedrooms upstairs. All as described in the listing and definitely clean and well maintained!! 

We were greeted by Shel, who gave us the lowdown on all the great eats in town. We did visit some of his suggestions and were very pleased with them all. My favorite was the Lobster Benedict @ Blue Heaven... still talking about that meal :o)

During our visit, we did some of the local attractions, Hemingway House, Harry S. Truman House (highly recommend), walked to Fort Zachary Taylor Beach... beautiful beach, but recommend biking/driving there. At the Hemingway House we purchased a combo deal that got us in to the Hemingway House, Truman House and 2 days worth of trolley rides. That was well worth the $$$. 

I personally have stayed in many locations in the Keys and Key West, but none of them matched the feel of really living in Key West as this stay did. Staying at this cottage was a great experience and would recommend for anyone who wants to get off the beaten path!!

Awesome house!

House was just as expected, just like the pictures. Comfortable and lots of room. It was really hot the week we were there and the house remained cool and at a nice temp. The area the house is in wasn't what I expected however there were no issues, I felt safe walking everywhere. I would stay here again.

Beautiful Conch House

The house was exactly what we were looking for. There was six of us staying in the house and that 3rd full bathroom really came in handy. The first floor is very spacious and comfortable. The individual a/c in both bedrooms are perfect to keep everyone comfortable. Also loved having a washer/dryer in the home. The home was spotless! Shel was very informative and he his hightlighted top spots (eating and activities) were spot on. We rented bikes the whole time there. That is definitely the way to go. Never used our car. Also loved Sandy's cafe, which was right on our street, so morning cuban coffee and bread was readily available every morning. We will definitely stay at this home again and it was hard to leave.

What a wonderful description of this home by a great group of guests. We are thrilled to hear that six fit comfortably in this 2 bedroom home with the use of the sleeper sofa and the third full bathroom on the main floor. The in-room A/C units (in addition to the central A/C throughout the house) is another greatly underestimated feature of this home - being able to program your bedroom to be any temperature you want without disturbing the rest of the house is a real treat. The mention of Sandy's Cafe is right on - if we were spending the week in Puerta Coralina we would take advantage of the two block walk to Sandy's each morning for a cafe con leche, too!! Lastly, it is always a pleasure to hear that the recommendations of Shel and the Last Key Realty team helped to better the stay of our guests. Love this place!

When walking into the house, I fell in love with it's quaint charm. Many of the original structures of the house have been kept in tact - the skylights in the bedrooms, the butcher block counter tops. There's just the right amount of new and old to make this house such a great stay! There was plenty of room for our two girls (4 & 7). They could play around and not feel cramped. They also really enjoyed the pool! I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone. The walk to Duval Street (where most of the fun is) is just a tad bit longer than I would want, but not too bad. It was a perfect location for driving to the beach, groceries, or Duval St., however. Cab rides are only about $7 if you don't have a mode of transportation. If you don't consider THIS property - you should ABSOLUTELY use Last Key Realty and Shel Segel, the property manager for Puerta Coralina. He was amazing!! When we read the reviews of this house and saw what a great man he was for other guests, we didn't look any further. He stayed in contact with me from long before our arrival until the end of our stay. He walked us through the entire house giving us instruction on everything and then gave us his recommendations for restaurants, beaches, and things to do while in Key West. He even stopped by right before we left to tell us goodbye! Just an all-around good guy! We are so in love with this town and this company. We just got home two days ago, and we're already planning to go back within the next year. You cannot go wrong renting this home or from Last Key Realty.

What a fantastic trip!!

We Had such an amazing time. From the beginning planning phases to the day of departure everything was completely turn key. Shel met us on the day of arrival and was extremely helpful with any questions we had and even took the time out to give us insight on which local restaurants and landmarks to visit. The house was exactly how it was described and it is perfect for a small group of friends or family. The living room is very spacious and the outside patio was very peaceful and relaxing. The house was close but far away from duval, which sometimes is a good thing. I would definitely recommend this property. Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I had a lovely long weekend getaway at Puerta Coralina. The home was neat, clean, and had every amenity we needed. 

Shel, in particular, was an invaluable resource for local information. He provided us with "spot on" restaurant recommendations - and we dined our way through our 5 day stay in Key West! Yum! Must-have dining experiences include Santiago's Bodega (tapas) and Garbo's (food truck fish tacos).

Don't bother with a car. You'll find parking difficult, and the neighborhood is lovely - we rode rented bicycles everywhere we needed to go for 5 days. The cab from the airport to the house was a flat $8/pp rate.

Excellent little cottage for a stay in Key West!

We rented this property for a five day stay in Key West. This was my family's first time renting a home for vacation and it was the best decision we've ever made! Once you arrive, Shel, the property manager, greets you in person, invites you to take a look around the house, shows you everything you'll need for your stay and then gives you restaurant and attraction recommendations.

The home is exactly how it's pictured on the site. The rooms are spacious and clean, the kitchen has everything you need to make a good meal and the outside space makes you feel as though you're in your own private oasis.

I highly recommend this property and will likely stay here again on our next trip to fabulous Key West!

Perfect for 4 people, great location, pool!

Nice little two story house in a good location - rent a bike and you can get to anywhere in Key West. 5 blocks from Duval St so not a bad walk either. Shel - our contact from the rental agency - was very helpful and provided us with great service. Met us at the house when we got there to show us around and helped us unload our gear! Some minor property repairs need done but nothing that would stop us from staying here again. The salt water pool is refreshing - not sure how you would get a swim in as exercise since the jets are low and easily overpowered as you swim into the current. Who cares - you're in Key West! The grill was in great shape and clean. All in all, a great house for two couples...any more than that and you might feel a bit crowded.

PUERTA CORALINA @ SOLARES HILL

A wonderfully decorated "shabby chic" decorated two bedroom house, making fabulous use of space and in a good location. The property provided excellent access to everything in Old Key West and served as a wonderful sanctuary with a well-designed backyard oasis. Last Key realty was excellent and Shel, our guest services coordinator, provided exceptional service, advice and accessibility. We also visited all his advised favorite locations and were not disappointed. Truly a beautiful spot that is well serviced. I'm normally quite critical, but highly recommend it.

This home is perfect....

All of the other reviews are spot on. House is perfectly located in Old Town, next to the cemetary (quiet neighbors) and a mix of other rental properties and local homeowner properties (also quiet). We rented bikes (turned car in at Key West airport for the week), and it was an easy and enjoyable ride to EVERYWHERE (all beaches, bars, restaurants, ports, you name it). Home is clean, and exactly like you see it in the photos.

Shel?  Amazing!  He truly has the old-school work ethic, there is make your stay as enjoyable as possible.  He is timely, respectful, good-spirited, and someone you want to have over for dinner.  Came by to see us off (and not to inspect our use) and I must admit I'll miss his friendly face. 

Price is exceptional for the location and property (we were there off-season). Everything worked great (had a minor issue with the t.v., but it was user error ...  nonetheless, Shel was there within 20 minutes to fix it).

I HIGHLY recommend this property, and my future trips to Key West will absolutely include a rental from Last Key that Shel manages (only reason I would not want to stay here again is because I like to mix up my vacations...I completely trust that all of their properties are as exceptional).

Home away from Home

Shel was a wonderful host and provided a great introduction to the house and surrounding area. We rented Bikes and never missed having a car. While we enjoyed our time away and finding great places to eat, we had an equally good time using the Grill and preparing dinner in. The pool is a refreshing as the it looks in the photos as were the amenities of this home. Lovely Cottage for two couples and easily will accommodate three.

Great 40th vacation and celebration!

I had never been to Key West before and had such a great time at Puerta Carolina. No need to drive from the house into town its about a 20 min walk to town. The Cottage is situated in a quiet area so no noise from the townies. The Cottage is cozy and comfortable and such an ease to relax in. This vacation offered me fond memories of a beautiful place and a milestone. I had a truly superb time at Puerta Carolina.

Such a great house!

The house is a little bit off the beaten path but it had all of the amenities that you could want in a Key West vacation rental. Two bedrooms and three full bathrooms was ideal for a group of four people. We spent so much time in the plunge pool! Also, Shel was very helpful at recommending restaurants to our party as well as pointing out things to do.

A Very Positive Experience!

We loved this house! The property management staff were super friendly, understanding and professional. Everything was clean and kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. It was in a great location....not too far from all attractions, but yet far enough away for peace and quiet. Amazing property!

We were so excited that this property was available for Fantasy Fest. The pictures looked amazing and portrayed this place very accurately. It really is so beautiful that we were content to just hang by the pool and skipped sightseeing most days! It was super clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. The patio/pool area is very private with lots of foliage and iguanas running around. So awesome. The house is within walking distance to a market and liquor store. It's a few blocks to downtown, walkable, but we took cabs mostly. Shel at Last Key Realty took excellent care of us. We really enjoyed our stay at this property and would definitely stay there again!

Perfect home with quiet neighbors!

I had the privilege of staying in this perfect home for eight days! It was hard to leave. Everything about the home itself was perfect - pool, outdoor shower, kitchen equipment/supplies, and general overall layout. Shel, the Guest Services Manager helped to make the stay even better with suggestions from a local's perspective. Shel was also available when I had a question or needed the pool heat turned up! The location was about 6 blocks off Duval which was perfect to get away from the crowds yet still an easy walk or bike ride when you wanted to do things in that area. It felt like home.

Very clean and larger than I expected. It was supplied with everything we needed. Great pool which we spent time at every evening. Location is great and close to everything. 

Shel was great to work with and was available to us at anytime. We called him to turn the heater on in the pool and it was taken care of immediately!

We would stay at this same cottage again.

Absolutely wonderful!

While no place is perfect, this place is very close! It was nice, clean, well-stocked and nicely furnished. Shel was helpful, giving us maps, recommendations on restaurants, and discounts for activities. We travel with a pet (Missy the Wonder Dog) and found puerta coralina to be comfortable for all of us. The pool was great, and I loved the outdoor shower. The area was so convenient to everything we had planned, the only time we used our car was when we left the island.  We hope to visit again, and have already recommended it to several friends. Wonderful first experience

Since this was our first trip to Key West, we weren’t sure what to expect. This property turned out to be an excellent choice for our place to stay. The home was clean and beautifully maintained. The neighborhood is quiet and located in the center of Old Town, making everything very convenient. Shel (Guest Service Mgr), on our arrival, gave us the run-down on the popular restaurants, activities, places to shop, etc. He was always available for any questions. We certainly would recommend this vacation home and will probably be reserving it for our next trip to the Keys.

Perfect spot for a family getaway

We were in love with this little cottage from the first photo we saw and as soon as we arrived, we knew we'd picked the perfect house for our family vacation. The cottage is charming, clean, open and private at the same time, and is close enough to everything but nicely off the beaten path. 

The home was very clean and very nicely maintained. We loved the lush privacy of the pool and how the kitchen opened up to this space. I feel a sense of calm just writing about it. Morning coffee in this cottage – doesn’t get any better.

We really enjoyed the open space of the downstairs, so that our family could be together through whatever we were doing -- relaxing, watching tv, preparing meals, eating, swimming, keeping an eye on our active son, etc. The bedrooms upstairs were spacious and immaculate, with great light. The deck off one of the bedrooms was an enjoyable place to have coffee or read.

As for Shel and Last Key, we are in complete agreement with all of the other reviewers:  personable, warm and friendly, responsive and reliable -- Shel made sure that everything about our stay was taken care of. You really can't ask for more -- Shel helped us plan a great vacation that, during this incredibly long winter in the Northeast, we cannot stop thinking about.

Not only would we recommend this property to friends and family, but we have already talked about, "When can we return?"

Key West has a ton to offer. In particular, we loved Sandy's Cafe, Louie's Backyard (expensive but worth it -- also a great place to get a drink on the deck which is right on the water), Blue Heaven for brunch, walking back and forth to (and along) Duval, the Conch Trolley Tour (a great way to see the beautiful homes and sites of Old Town Key West), the old graveyard adjacent to the house, and we did the sunset down at Mallory Square which is touristy but fun and worthwhile -- what a gorgeous sunset. With a drink in hand, I might add.

Key West is a vacation like no other, and I think about our trip every day when I see the carved wooden rooster we brought home as a memento of all the fun we had there.

Clean and conviently located to downtown Key West

The house was great, everything we needed was there. The pool/jacuzzi was a great feature after a long day of sailing. The property manager, Shel was always available and was very pleasant to deal with. We were there for Key West Race week and it was great to have a house with laundry, bbq and pool, walking distance to the boat.

Delightful home; good location; excellent customer

Cute house. Perfect for two couples because two bedrooms each w private bath. Another full bath downstairs. Has many cool features from the 1940s, such a washboard sink, original butcher block counters and skylights. Back doors and windows open to the backyard/patio where we enjoyed eating breakfast every day. The pool is smaller and shadier than we thought it would be, so we never used it. Property was clean and well-maintained. We were especially impressed with Guest Services Coordinator Shel Segel. He was in contact with us before we arrived, met us when we checked in, showed us where everything was/how everything worked and left us with his contact information in case we had questions or problems--outstanding service! There was also a book of information on the house and one on area restaurants, etc. The house is close to many great restaurants, and within walking distance of Duval Street and Mallory Square. There was no dedicated parking space with the house, but we had only one car and were able to find parking on the street. The rental was expensive.

Lovely island home in a great location!

This house was such a gem!  There were a few minor issues while we stayed there, but Shel took care of them very quickly so that we could relax and enjoy our vacation. The house was very comfortable, and seemed to have everything we needed for the evenings we opted to stay in and cook dinner. You can easily walk anywhere in Old Town from this location, and street parking seemed to be available anytime. We would definitely stay here again!

Affordable, comfortable and quaint Key West House.

Overall we were very satisfied with the house. It had everything we needed. It was a fifteen minute walk to Duval Street which we did not mind, but others might. It comfortably accommodated a family of five. The manager provided good customer service. We would recommend it to a friend or relative and would stay there again.

Great taste of Key West!

The property is very quaint, tucked away in a great (very safe) area. We were walking or bike riding distance to all that we needed. The rental company was awesome, giving us a print out of the Key West "hot spots"...i.e. great restaurants, nearby attractions, entertainment, etc. It's a very cute house with lots of charm. The pool in the back was great! We all used it daily. For a first time Key West visitor, I couldn't have asked for a better place. Overall, we felt right at home and were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived until we left. We will be back for sure!! Thanks for such a wonderful, memorable visit!

A great property and location

We had a great time staying at this house in Key West - enhanced by the fantastic welcome given to us by Shel on arrival. He was a mine of information as well as being a very interesting and nice person. The property itself was clean, spacious and well appointed - we particularly enjoyed the garden and pool area, which was a lovely place to sit and cool off in at the end of the day. The location was also perfect for us - close enough to be able to walk into the centre but far enough not to be noisy. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone else considering where to stay.

Outstanding rental property and excellent service.

A fine home that perfectly matched the description, in an ideal location. Everything was in order on our arrival, both clean and well organized. Returning to the quiet neighborhood in the evening after spending the day of enjoying Key West was ideal to relax and recharge for the next days outings. Given the good amenities and condition of the home, spending a day just relaxing there is thoroughly enjoyable. Shel was terrific and we appreciated his professionalism and just chatting with him in general. As people who enjoy food as a key component of travel, Key West absolutely delivers with far too many restaurants to recommend.

Fantastic Key West get-a-way house.

The listing was completely accurate. The pictures were actually understated as the interior was much nicer than we had expected. The decor was what we expected of a Key West cottage. The property manager provided us with great service. He was very knowledgable of the area and restaurants and made certain we were comfortable. The house was clean well appointed and in good repair. The top deck is ideal for private sunning. The size of the cottage works great for groups. The outdoor shower is a lovely. The location, the privacy and the quaintness of the property makes this an ideal vacation home.

Puerta Coralina Conch Charmer

Beautiful house in a prime location. Couldn't have asked for a better appointed, centrally located rental property. Very thankful that after a long drive, Shel the guest services coordinator, met me at the house and even helped with the luggage. Enjoyed morning coffee on the upper deck and cooling off in the pool later in the day. Great restaurants and shopping within walking distance make this the ideal place to stay. Close to noisy Duval, yet quiet enough to feel removed from all the tourists.

The Big 50 in Key West

We (5 women) thoroughly enjoyed our visit in this clean well equipped cottage. There was plenty of room for all five of us to stay together and still be friends when we left haha. Enough space to spend the day at the cottage together or close enough to Duvall street to ride our bikes up there anytime we felt the urge to do something. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, grill, etc. Shel is definitely an added plus to the property. He will do whatever it takes to make you comfortable without being annoying. All it takes is a phone call and he will be there to assist. I would have no problem staying here again.

Fabulous trip

We very much enjoyed our stay at Puerta Coralina. The description was accurate regarding location, layout and amenities. The property was clean and we'll maintained. The manager Shel was incredibly friendly and especially helpful with food recommendations. He went out of his way to provide resources that were specifically helpful in our situation (traveling with baby). We would highly recommend this property! Cozy, extremely clean, perfect for 2 couples !

We were extremely impressed with the cleanliness. This home offered lots of room and privacy for 2 couples. We very much enjoyed the backyard with heated plunge pool. The kitchen is very well equipped. The home is located conveniently to shops and various activities. Although this home is listed as pet-friendly, as an asthmatic and sensitivity to pets and smoke, I did not have any problems. We highly recommend this home for people that want to get away from the bustling area of Old Key West for quiet enjoyment but close enough to walk and enjoy the many activities that Key West offers.

Nice Relaxing Week

Very quiet part of town (you do have planes making noise but not much you can do about that) and still within walking distance to all you could want. Right next to the cemetery, which helped make it so quiet, but that didn't bother us at all. Living area, kitchen and back yard/patio were highlights; these are the areas we spent most of our time. Perfect size dipping pool and since I'm Irish and don't want too much sun it worked perfectly for me. For those that want more sun, the patio off the master bedroom always had plenty. Shel and the Last Key team were readily available and always helpful, their service made the experience that much better.

Fantastic stay at Puerta Coralina!

Puerta Coralina was wonderful from the minute our family walked through the coral front door! Shel Segal was most attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We knew we could call him for anything and appreciate that he called to check in during the week to see how things were. The location was great.... walking distance to shopping, marina area, and bike rentals a half block down the road. We loved the pool off the kitchen, kitchen windows that open up to the patio, second floor deck, wooden floors, and comfy furniture. We hated to leave! Great Property / Great Service

My wife and I stayed here for a few days with our toddler for a little sun and relaxation by the pool. It was great. The heated, private pool was a big plus and we were only a 10-15 min walk from basically anything (aquarium, parks, beach, etc.) Enjoyed the deck off the master bedroom and fact that house had washer, dryer, dishwasher and good water pressure. Being near the cemetery kept things relatively quiet as well which was great in helping our toddler sleep and nap. Shel was a wonderful host as well. He was there to greet us and made sure we had everything we needed - he even went so far as to give us a lift to the grocery store. Can't thank him enough for his great service. Overall this was a great location. Would recommend to anyone!

Very clean & nicely appointed home

We were very pleased with the home overall. The two master bedrooms suites are adequately spacious but still have a comfortable & cozy feel. The living area is comfortable and the whole place is truly adorable! The outside areas are quite small but perfectly "Key West". We enjoyed great meals in the neighborhood restaurants and enjoyed our evening walks to and fro. Shel is a great resource and a great guy. He is a wonderful representative of Key West Realty!

perfect spot

This was the perfect house for us. Right next to the cemetery and we could watch the parade of people pass by our front porch every evening during cocktail hour. Bikable and walkable to everywhere, small pool to cool off in, kitchen big enough to cook in but not so big you felt guilty eating out. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, the outside space was great and even the pull out sofa was comfortable. It was clean, and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again.

Cozy Quiet Old Town Home

Can't say enough about renting from Last Key. Smooth reservation process, great conceirge service with Megan and a hospitable on site host with Shel. 

The home was cozy. It's Old Town so be prepared for a tight lot and the historical cemetary across the street. Quiet though :-) Our boys loved the dipping pool. Upstairs sun deck was a nice plus.  Convenient biking distance to everything.  We had a great time.

Tastefully decorated house, very comfortable

Two nice large bedrooms, an upstairs deck partly in the shade starting 2pm (great place to hang out and read). Very pleasant living room/dining room. Quiet neighborhood, with a pleasant walk to go into the center of Key West. We ended-up not using the pool too much as is pretty small and often in the shade, but nice to have. We had a great time.

Easy Living in Key West

Perfect from start to finish!

The house is very clean and tidy. There was even lovely music playing when we arrived.

The outdoor shower and salt water soaking pool are dreamy. We never even used the showers in the house. It was great fun showering outside under the beautiful palms while listening to the waterfall in the pool. 

Puerta Coralina has EVERYTHING you could possibly need for an extended stay in Key West.

The private sun deck off the master bedroom was a huge bonus and the perfect place to spend the day relaxing in the sun.

The house is in a very quiet neighborhood yet close to all the excitement of Duvall Street.

The concierge service was EXTRAORDINARY and Shel was a delight to work with from the very beginning. I believe we have made a new friend.  Hands down THE BEST rental agency in Key West!!!!

We will ABSOLUTLEY be back and will ALWAYS use Last Key Realty.

We made an excellent choice!

My wife and I (along with our golden-doodle) spent 10 wonderful days in this home. It was perfect. Our first impression was "wow, this is the cleanest home we have ever seen". This home works great for a couple or up to about 5 people. Location is ideal. The home is well appointed and has that old "Key West" charm. The kitchen and pool/patio area are cozy and private. The staff at Last Key bent over backward to make sure that we were happy. Shel Segal was terrific. What a kind man. He made us feel welcome and was there for anything we needed. By the end of the 10 days, we considered Shel and the Last Key staff as our personal friends. We would do it all again!

Very nice cottage. Last key staff exceptional!

This house is immaculate and so cozy! It has everything that you will need--towels, laundry, and essentials to start your trip. Shannon met us at the property to go over everything. She was available at any time. When I forgot my date book, she went to the cottage and found it. She mailed it back that day! This cottage is a comfortable walk away from the Duval scene. It was perfect for our family. Girls loved the pool.

Perfect stay for a girls get away!

For my 40th birthday celebration I stayed at this gem of a house with some girl friends. I was perfect and worth the splurge of the pool. The house is close walking to Duval and shopping. There is a beautiful cemetery that is across the street which lends to a quiet area and didn't make the location feel cramped or crowded. It was easy to find parking too. We were able to ride bikes all around the island easily. The house was clean and has three big, updated full bathrooms and the beds were comfy. It felt like coming home at the end of each day and it was so nice we even spent a day just relaxing in the patio/pool area.  I couldn't have asked for a better place. The grocery store is a few minutes drive away. We ate an amazing meal at Seven Fish which is just a few blocks away. We walked to Sarabeths for breakfast/brunch- delish!  We biked to El Siboney and shared delicious Cuban food. Don't forget to try Cuban coffee!  I am still dreaming of it. The trip was perfect. I can wait to come back.

Lovely, Quiet and Relaxing

We had a very nice stay in this home. It was quiet and had a nice, private back patio with a refreshing pool. Shannon, of Last Key Realty, was there to meet us and then there to send us off. She was extremely accommodating and warm. The home has some wonderful original features but has been updated for comfort. It was fully stocked with essentials and very clean. The beds were very comfortable.  If you stay, I would plan on renting a golf cart to get around, though the home was within walking distance to almost anywhere on the island. We would certainly stay there again.

Super Home, Service and Stay - *****

The house in Key West's Old Town was wonderful!  Clean, neat, all amenities were in working order, everything you could want and need. 1940's house with all modern conveniences. The pool was terrific! It might be the coolest spot on Key West! A delight after a fun day in the sun or on the bikes. It's very private and the outdoor shower is a plus plus!!!

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. They had our bikes delivered when we arrived. We did not partake in the option for delivery of groceries, but next time we would. 

There are so many great restaurants in Key West and MANY within walking distance to this home. Seven Fish was great - make a reservation and Off the Hook was a great find also! You can usually get day in advance reservations at most places. Blue Heaven was good, Banana Cafe was nice. Latitudes on Sunset Key was wonderful - book IN ADVANCE!

The staff also arranged the Sea Plane to Dry Tortugas National Park. This is the way to go - I have done the ferry, it's nice but you see so much more from the plane and there are many options for water excursions from Mallory Park. 

We did not have a car for over a week and did not miss it at all. We did take one taxi for dinner due to high humidity, they we all friendly and on time. otherwise bikes bikes bikes!!

This was a most enjoyable vacation. We will return again soon. 

The house is located on the rim of the Key West Cemetery. You don't notice it. It actually affords view that are not obstructed by other homes from the sun deck. Great sunset pictures over the graves.  It's quiet at night and peaceful. Great location to get anywhere in Old Town.

Amazing home!

Needless to say, any trip to KW is going to be a great trip but I cannot say enough great things about this home and the Last Key rental company- especially Shannon. The house was perfectly located far enough away from the hustle of Duval to make the backyard afternoons relaxing but also close enough that everything was within walking distance. Shannon was so helpful from the moment we booked the trip to even after with left- responding to questions instantly. When you go to KW, throw all of your plans out the window and wing it- except when planning where you will stay. This place is paradise!

Great with the elements

My manager was great, we had an issue with the BBQ grill, she had it fixed the very next day. Also there was construction going on next door that no one knew about. She texted me to see if we were ok with it going on. Very nice and friendly. The house was perfect, We loved it.

Lovely and Serene Getaway

My husband and I stayed here for Thanksgiving with two friends. The house is so adorable and cozy. We spent a lot of time sitting on the back patio with the doors and windows open, and also sitting on the upstairs balcony. We cooked several meals there, and had all the tools we needed. We walked to Duval street quite a few times as well. The house was clean, well stocked, and in good order. Shannon, the local property manager was easy to reach, very helpful, and friendly. We definitely plan to come back here.

Let's do it again!

Lovely cottage off the beaten path but within walking and/or biking distance of everything you love in Key West. Several items original to the house gave it a wonderful charm but at the same time it had all of the modern conveniences that we come to expect.

Perfect home for a family or two couples. Very well equipped with anything you may need and very clean. We found the pool to be a true added bonus! Coming in for a quick dip after an eventful day or enjoying the stars with a glass of wine - it was divine!

The staff at Last Key Realty were superb. We have been to Key West enough that we didn't have a lot of questions for them, but appreciated the input on places to eat and very impressed that Shel checked in on us during our stay. We also had the concierge book one of our excursions and that went off without a hitch. Thank you Last Key!!
