Wonderful

Property was spacious enough for my extended family, had the convenience of a private pool in the back, and only two blocks from Duval St. Parking was narrow but enough for 3 vehicles (which we needed) and worked fine. It was a wonderful vacation.

Exceeded our Expectations!

This house went above and beyond our expectations. Location was the best! The house had literally everything you could possibly need, they thought of every detail in this house. We had 3 kids with us and they didn’t want to leave the pool the entire time. All the rooms felt spacious and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful, such great communication and very friendly. We cannot wait to come back!

Ideal in Every Way!

We came for a sailing race. It was super close to the boat and was an ideal location. We had dinners at home and went out. Both were very convenient. We absolutely loved this house!!!

Ideal Location for Family Reunion

Star of the Seaport was the perfect location for a family gathering of 10 adults and a baby. The location couldn’t be better, a very short walk to Duval and to the Marina. The house was very comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor space with plenty of seating for our entire group. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook a Thanksgiving meal for ten of us without any trouble. Last Key Realty were easy to deal with and we would happily rent from them again. We would definitely return to this property.

House was perfect in every way, rooms, convenience of location, we had the best experience celebrating a 60th birthday. We were consistently being checked on to make sure we had everything we needed. This will definitely be a yearly repeat!!

Best House in Key West!

This is probably the best house available for short term rentals in key west. We had 10 people down for my 30th bday. Kept our 2 boats at the Galleon Marina which is a short 3 minute walk. We hit the water during the day then conveniently walk to the bars on Duval St at night. The house itself is luxurious and set up for entertaining.

Incredible Home & Outstanding Service!

We really enjoyed our time in Key West and I have no doubt it was because of Last Key's top notch customer service. The house was incredible, but what really made the trip was their concierge service that helped us figure out what we were going to do there with our group of 11. They made recommendations, they made reservations, they steered us away of things we might not enjoy but looked good online, and their response time was great! Would totally stay with them again!

Star of the Seaport was simply fantastic. We had a larger group in for a fishing tournament and this location was simply perfect. Great house and amenities, great backyard and pool. Perfect for Wedding Guests

The Perfect Place, Perfect Location and Tremendous Service

The Airbnb was perfect. Very quaint, great location, extra amenities for your comfort. Parking could have been a problem but the location is so good that once we parked we didn't move the car and walked just about everywhere or took an Uber.

Our guest service coordinator, Samantha, was wonderful!  Very professional, incredibly personable, and totally responsive. She was great and such a help, including parking! We really enjoyed our stay. A lot of extra care was given to ensure our comfort.

Absolutely Recommend! Seriously, just book it!

This house was amazing! It’s an Incredible location very walkable to everything. The Last Key concierge team was on it for any of our needs. We had 5 couples to celebrate my husbands 37th bday and it was nice for everyone to have their own room/bathroom and spread out in the house. The pool scene outside was a big draw for us to the house and it did not disappoint! Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again!

The Perfect Trip

The home is amazing. We had five couples; ranging in age from in their fifties to seventies. We were in Key West to celebrate my wife’s 70th Birthday. We selected it for proximity to shops and sightseeing and the privacy five rooms provided. The pictures showed great gathering areas and it delivered it wonderfully. We sat outside on the outside couches and swapped lies about our childhood memories. We finished our days with soaks in the pool. We played games around the outside dining table and had great dinners in the dining area and more stories in the great living area. The five days were perfect and mostly due to The Star of the Seaport!

Location Can't Be Beat!

Star of the Seaport is a great house! We were here for my husband's 50th. Us and 4 other couples (10 total). We loved that everyone had their own room and own restroom. The house was clean and exactly what we needed. It was so nice to have a pool that we could relax in during the afternoon or jump into when we got back from Duval at the end of the night. And the location!! AMAZING! I knew it would be a good location because we've been to KW before. However, I had no idea just how good it was until we got there! The house is truly in the absolute best location. Super close to Duval - but also not right on the craziness of Duval. Close to bars, restaurants, seaport, Mallory Sq, Little White House. LOCATION CAN'T BE BEAT Last Key Realty was really great to work with. Very quick to respond to any emails prior to our arrival. And Samantha, as our personal concierge was great - we had some things we reached out to her and she was so quick to respond and offer resolutions. Thank you for helping make my husband's 50th memborable.

Relaxing vacation!

Our stay at this property was incredible. There was a lot of space for our family to spread out. Enjoyed each of the rooms being themed, lot of attention to detail. The balcony and patio also had wonderful rocking chairs. The pool was also one of the highlights! The property managers and agents were all friendly, reliable, and accommodating. We wanted the pool to be heated and Samantha came to the property herself to turn the heater on. Would love to be back soon!

Can't wait to rent this home again!

Everything about this home was wonderful! Beautiful, spacious, well-stocked with everything needed to cook. The pool was clean and well maintained. The outside furniture was able to accommodate all of the guests in the house and having a grill was a definite plus. The beds were comfortable and allowed everyone to get a good night’s sleep. The location of this home allows you to be close to shopping, bars, and restaurants. Check-in was great and the key lime pie was a great touch. We can not wait to go back to Key West and we will definitely be renting this house again!

Star of the Seaport is Absolutely Amazing

The home has so much charm with all of the amenities you could want. It’s proximity to town makes this a must stay. The Last Key staff and concierge were unbelievably accommodating and so friendly. I spend 100+ nights a year in hotels, I have seen the best and worst in my travels, but The Star of the Seaport and Last Key are at the absolute top of my list. Our group stayed at Star of the Seaport for 5 nights in early April

It was an ideal property for our party by providing plenty of room and comfort and includes all necessary amenities for a vacation home base. The property is in a convenient location to all Key West vacation activities, such as restaurants, bars, shopping, and historic sights. We had rental cars, since we drove to Key West after flying into Ft. Lauderdale, but did not use them since we ended up walking to all activities. The property was ideal for spending time indoors, with a spacious living room, kitchen, and dining area, or outdoors, with a large patio seating area, dining set, and pool. The property is well maintained and in very good condition. The staff at Last Key Realty is exceptional and know the meaning of excellent customer service. Rodney was proactive and very helpful with the rental contract. Samantha, our host, assisted with our property planning and needs, greeted us on arrival with gift beverages, was available during our stay if we needed assistance, and met us at departure time. Cecilly and Beth provided us concierge service and could not have been more helpful. They consulted with us several times before and during the trip and made excellent suggestions for restaurants and activities, including a jet ski tour, kayaking tour, sunset cruise, and a Fort Tortuga excursion. All reservations were made by Cecilly and Beth. The Last Key Realty staff made our trip a great success. You will enjoy working with them and The Star of the Seaport property.

Another Great Stay!

 

The Last Key Realty team goes above and beyond from the booking process to concierge services and recommendations throughout the stay and even accommodating checkout adjustments (when possible) given staggered flight schedules. I have stayed at two incredible Last Key properties with large groups – Southernmost VII and Star of the Seaport. Both homes were spacious, well-maintained, and designed with relaxation and escaping the grind in mind. Our most recent stay at Star of the Seaport was for a milestone celebration. It’s right around the corner from the Conch Republic and a short hop from the Half Shell – the happy hours at these landmarks ensured that a few rainy days wouldn’t dampen our spirits. We enjoyed pies from Pepe’s, breakfast at Harpoon Harry’s, lunch at B.O.’s Fish Wagon, Cubanos from 5 Brothers, and tacos and burgers from Garbo’s Grill, too – all close to the house. We shook out our souls at the Green Parrot, the Blue Macaw and Rick’s Tree Bar, too. Rodney from Last Key helped us pick a home that met the needs of eleven adults flying in from both coasts at all hours, and he and the team made sure twin beds were converted to kings and the pool was heated as a cold front came through. Shannon, our guest services coordinator, made the celebration one we'll never forget. She was in contact with me several weeks before our arrival and ensured the house was stocked with groceries, beverages and birthday flair that made us feel like kids again. She was a partner on the ground and any idea I winged to her, she embraced, amplified and executed. I could hear and feel her enthusiasm and laughter in every voicemail and text exchange! I was able to ship some items to her to be available for our arrival, and she printed pictures and decorated the house to welcome us. She even had personalized koozies made up for us as a surprise! She worked on dinner reservations (be sure to make your way to El Siboney), and she coordinated a catered evening for the first day to ease us into the good times. Shannon met us at the house once we landed on the island, and she checked on us throughout the trip to make sure we found the best Cuban sandwiches and coffees, Bloody Mary’s, key lime pies, live music and places to chill. Seriously, the attention to detail and local intel were stellar. As we were all leaving at different times, she was also able to adjust our checkout time and ensure each of us squeezed every last sweet drop of juice out of our time in Key West. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Last Key Realty and both of the properties mentioned. I cannot wait for the next occasion to wrangle friends back down for some sailing, cocktailing and bike-riding revelry.

The home was amazing, but Shannon of last key made the vacation!

The attention to detail this company possesses is beyond any I have ever experienced. From check in to check out and everything in between Shannon was on top of it! I arrived with a party of 7, 6 of whom had never been to Key West, Shannon was attentive to their questioning, even the ridiculous, and answers were thorough and professional and thoughtful. The home was pristine and beautiful with all needed supplies and amenities. I have already recommended the property and Last Key to a friend who has booked a vacation. Would I use this company again? After missing our flight out of RDU to catch a cruise out of Miami, we (a group of 11) decided to drive to Key West instead. We had no where to stay but after calling and emailing many places we were helped by Chris Santry and Amanda Anderson with Last Key Realty. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and we are so very thankful! Now about the house, Star of the Seaport, it's even better than the pictures you see online. It's clean, spacious, and in a prime location-you can literally walk a block and be in the middle of all the action. I recommend Last Key Realty, especially Amanda, who met us at the house to show us around, and answered every text immediately throughout the week we were there. You won't be sorry you rented this property!

Best Vacation Ever

Our stay at the Star of the Seaport from 4/20-4/24 was absolutely wonderful. Amanda Anderson, our host from Last Key Realty, was in contact with me before we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed on our arrival. She met us at the house and went over all the details. One of our party of 9 realized we didn’t pack a portable speaker for poolside and Amanda had the speaker to us within an hour! The house was large and well-appointed with a beautiful pool and great location to Duval Street and our favorite eating places. We can’t wait to visit Key West again and rent with Last Key!

Charming, great location, first rate service

 

What a fabulous house for a work retreat! Lots of room. The bedrooms are charmingly decorated and the kitchen opening out to the pool and outdoor seating is ideal. Amanda Anderson was extremely helpful and even went out of her way to bring us two brand new coolers and ice when we asked for them. She was very easy to reach and responded so quickly when we had questions about restaurants and beach areas. Highly recommended. Great stay!

More Beautiful in Person!

The home was absolutely beautiful and honestly looked better in person. It was immaculately clean (inside and outside) with up-to-date appliances. The pool was a perfect respite at the end our day and was well maintained, too. We were a group of 9 adults and 3 toddlers and the house was spacious! The location is perfect in that you are close enough to get to Duval Street but far enough to not hear anything. We had enough room in the driveway for 2 cars and the 3rd car parked on the street. Caryn was our coordinator, and was very, very responsive before the trip and also during the trip when we had some issues with someone blocking the driveway, the ice maker on the fridge and the grill. It was also nice to have concierge available by phone to help with planning and ideas for eating out. 100% recommend this home, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect work retreat

My yoga studio in Miami is rapidly expanding, and after a I brought on a group of new instructors, I figured what better place for a staff retreat than Key West. With the eight of us I was a bit nervous about all of us staying in one house, but from the photos I saw online it seemed like the perfect place to be together --but also have a bit of privacy. The bedroom layout was perfect. Even the people sharing rooms did not feel cramped, which is something I was worried about. There was ample space for everyone, and sharing bathrooms was not the issue I thought it would be. The kitchen had lots of counter space which was perfect for our communal buffet meals, and walking out to the pool for our morning practice was the most serene and beautiful way to start the day. Once morning we ventured out to Fort Zachary Taylor to do some yoga on the beach…and ran into a yoga class! Since our days were filled with workshops I decided we should go have some local fun in the evenings. We went to the Tropic Cinema for a movie night, went on a spooky ghost tour, and had a late night dancing to live music on Duval Street. We had game nights at home, and went swimming and grilled out back by the pool. I couldn’t have asked for a better location, and the trip bonded us together as a work family. Highly recommended.

Fantastic, historic, luxurious home in Key West's best location! What a find!

My family and I really adored our two-week stay in this amazing, Hemmingway style residence. From our first glimpse of the palm-tree fringed porches with wooden rocking chairs off the charming street just three blocks from Duval Street, we were thrilled at our choice. our family is a large one, of ages ranging from youngsters to our elderly parents with disabilities, but everyone was happy with the truly comfortable accommodation, and the superb location. the house is beautifully decorated, in an elegant style that fits it's history, yet it is also relaxing and upbeat. The pool area is spacious, and we spent a lot of time together as a family - grilling, swimming, and dining outside under the stars. The bedrooms were tasteful and well-appointed - each with it's own Key West personality theme - The Jimmy Buffett Suite, the Truman Suite, and so on. The beds were very comfortable - some with gorgeous four-posters. Our parents have physical challenges, so we were very relieved to have two excellent bedrooms on the ground floor. The house is a haven of peace and relaxation, yet for those of us who wanted excitement and night life, Duval Street is only three blocks away, while in the other direction lies a quant seaport with delightful restaurants, bars, coffee shops, art galleries, designer clothing stores, fishing boats for hire and water sports rental shops. Thankfully, we did not need to rent a car, but some of us simply used bicycles when we ventured further afield. But we noticed that it is possible to pull a car off the street in the driveway, which must be a blessing to many people. It was a relief to me (as chief family organizer) that I did not need to work too hard to find activities for each individual - because it was all right on our doorstep and no transport necessary. Our young children loved the pool and the many kids' activities around town, our teenagers loved the bicycle-friendly environment, the scuba diving and snorkeling trips, the fishing opportunities, and the fun of Duval Street. All adults enjoyed the spacious dining table for elegant dinner parties, as well as nearby restaurants, historical walks, boat trips and museums - all within easy walking distance. We were grateful for the attentiveness of the Last Key professionals, and especially its excellent concierge service. This is an amazing rental in a terrific part of the world; none of us can wait till next year!
