THE GATED COMMUNITY...

Truman Annex is the most exclusive residential community in Old Town. Located just off the main drag of Duval Street, Truman Annex is an oasis of calm, quiet streets lined with palm trees and beautiful Floridian homes. Within Truman Annex, the home is accessed via Admiral's Lane, which is even further tucked away down a small cul-de-sac. Fort Zachary Taylor State Park beach is just a few short blocks away. You won't need a car to get around, however the home does have two off-street parking spots.

Compliance with Truman Annex Community Rules & Regulations is expected of all Last Key guests. This includes “Quiet Time” in all outdoor areas, public and private, after 10PM.

THE MAIN FLOOR...

Although THE ADMIRAL'S ESTATE faces Whitehead Street, the most commonly used entrance is via Admiral's Lane. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a welcoming foyer that is accessible to the kitchen and the formal dining room. The fully equipped kitchen has premium appliances and all of the tools needed to prepare a meal at home. The kitchen bar seating is perfect for a quick bite or keeping the cooks company. For more formal meals, there is a full formal dining room with seating for 8.

Navigate your way through the kitchen to reach the two living rooms. The first living room has a large flat screen TV and multiple seating options, including a plush sofa. The second living room is located across the hall and is equipped with a soothing fireplace and plenty of comfortable seating. Both living areas have classic saloon doors that open up to the spacious porch that graces the façade of the home.

THE LANAI & PRIVATE POOL...

Lead the troops outside to experience outdoor island living at its' finest. The covered lanai has a large outdoor TV and comfy outdoor furniture. From the lanai, step down to the private pool area for some fun in the sun. The saltwater pool is perfect for cooling off on a hot day or can be heated in the cooler months. Relax in the chaises located on the pool's deck or enjoy a poolside meal using the BBQ grill and outdoor dining table.

Viewing this home from the street, you'll know immediately how the name THE POLYNESIAN HOUSE came to be; The Polynesian-style curved roofs of the two rooms sitting atop this home are the first signs of this special property even from afar. This luxurious ranch-style estate recently underwent a massive renovation, and not a single expense was spared. The home's open and airy layout allows for guests to congregate indoors and out, and there are meticulously maintained gardens throughout. You'll find plenty of off-street parking in the driveway, but you won't need a car to get around the island from this prime location in the desirable neighborhood of Casa Marina. You'll be just steps from several beaches, restaurants, and attractions of Key West. You will be hard pressed to find a home of this quality, in this location, and with this enormous private pool anywhere else in Key West.

THE LIVING AREA & KITCHEN...

The spacious living room has a large flat screen TV and plenty of comfortable seating, with ceiling to floor sliding glass doors surrounding for views of the pool and the secret gardens even while relaxing indoors. There is also a powder room located off of the living room for convenience.

Let the island breeze flow through the home by throwing open the large sliding glass doors of the kitchen for a true island experience.
