The Beaming Barracuda
Smoking is not permitted in any Last Key Realty home. In addition, the Foundry does not permit smoking in the front garden patio areas or balconies. Therefore, this home is not a good fit for vacationers needing smoking accommodations.
THE LOCATION...
Truman Annex is a private, gated community right in Old Town, Key West. You'll be just a few blocks from Mallory Square, Duval Street and all the restaurants, shopping, and attractions of Old Town, yet you'll benefit from the peace and quiet that Truman Annex is known for. Although you won't need a car to get around from this excellent location, there is a reserved off-street parking space.
Compliance with Truman Annex Community Rules & Regulations is expected of all Last Key guests. This includes “Quiet Time” in all outdoor areas, public and private, after 10PM.
THE COMMUNITY POOL & FORT ZACHARY TAYLOR STATE PARK...
The landscaped community pool is located just across the street, with chaises and a cabana with restrooms. Or you can walk to Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, with the prettiest beach in Key West, just a half mile away from your front door.
THE LIVING AREA...
THE BEAMING BARRACUDA has a bright and airy first floor living area, with soaring 11-foot ceilings and double French doors that allow plenty of natural light to flood through. The living room features a large flat screen TV and a large sectional sofa that pulls out to a Queen sleeper to accommodate extra guests. There's also a convenient powder room located on the first floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and tools you’ll need to prepare a home cooked meal. The indoor dining table seats four comfortably. The private courtyard out front is the perfect place to relax with a book or cold drink in hand. The courtyard is complete with a propane BBQ grill and patio furniture.
THE ACCOMMODATIONS...
** Master Suite: Located on the Second Floor with a King bed, a large flat screen TV, a private balcony, a large closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
** Second Bedroom: Located on the Third Floor with Two Twins OR One King bed, a flat screen TV, a closet, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and tub combo.
Each floor closes off with its own separate door as well for extra privacy.

** This property will accommodate up to 6 adults
** No Pets Allowed
** Last Key Realty vacation homes are rented to family groups and responsible adult groups only. Groups who expect they may cause after hours noise will not be a good fit for this home and should be aware they may incur additional penalties when in residence for violations. There will be a $500 charge for after-hours dispatch of our staff in response to calls resulting from verified noise complaints for violations by our guests in residence.

Highly Recommend!
The stellar home is located in the perfect spot in the gated Truman Annex. It’s less than one half block from the Truman White House in a quiet neighborhood. Yet 3 blocks away is the fun of Duval Street with its vibe, bars and restaurants. Most attractions are reachable by foot. I highly recommend!

The Beaming Barracuda was a perfect place for two couples! Great location for everything in Key West. We have stayed in several locations in Key West, and this is the top of the list.

Condo was in a great location, close to the marina, restaurants and shopping
We loved The Beaming Barracuda from the moment we arrived! It was very bright and welcoming! The key lime pie waiting for us was a perfect touch. The host was in contact with us throughout our stay making sure we had everything we needed. It was over the thanksgiving holiday so it was nice of him to keep us updated in case there were any issues. Our kids loved the house too.

The place is stunning, clean, and beautifully decorated
The location is absolutely perfect! We loved staying here and will definitely rent again in the future. The place has everything you need for the beach including beach chairs and towels which was great. It also came stocked with toilet paper and other essentials (everything except soap!) so we barely needed to buy anything which was another huge plus! The communication from the rental company was great! They respond right away and were incredibly helpful. Overall a wonderful place to stay. If anything I’d be hesitant to give such a positive review for fear it will be all booked up next time we come down to the keys lol!

Little Gem in the heart of the island!
First time to key west and location location location is what this little gem has to offer. Not only was it PERFECT for my husband and I, it was also great for my 16 year old daughter and her friend. Tastefully decorated but local artists, clean, has everything you need and a great set up. We rented bikes for the week and saw the whole island by foot, bike, golf cart (we rented for the day) and car. The provided Parking spot is a bonus! If I ever needed anything - our GSC was so helpful and very quick to respond. Thank you!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
The location could not be better. Close enough to walk to Duval, Green Parrot, Bahama Village ... but far enough away that it is quiet and not in the bustle. Property manager and concierge are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great Location & Great Home
The house was darling! The decor was so fun & island-like. Very clean & had all we needed for our stay down to laundry detergent & hand pump soap at each sink which I particularly enjoyed. Great location….secure area yet steps from all the fun! Would definitely recommend and/or stay here again.

The Last Key Realty staff were so friendly, accommodating, and helpful. It was exceptionally clean, well stocked, and comfortable. Its location in regards to Duval Street was outstanding! We will definitely rent from Last Key Realty again and would absolutely rent this house again!

The Perfect Vacation Spot
Our Key West stay at the Beaming Barricuda was delightful. The house is spotless and beautifully furnished and the kitchen well supplied. Gorgeous landscaping. The pool is across the street, the SPLASH Pad down the street and Duval Street a few blocks away.

Beautiful, comfortable and close to everything!
Our group of 6 recently stayed here and we found the condo to be beautifully updated and very comfortable. Everything looked brand new…paint, furniture, etc. The location of this condo is situated perfectly with easy walking access to many shops, restaurants, bars and lots of kid friendly attractions too. The community is quiet and lined with pretty palm trees and lots of flowers. The community pool is a very short walk from the condo as well. Wonderful Stay!
If you are going to Key West then you should be looking in the Truman Annex and this location. The outdoor patio overlooks a beautiful tree-lined street that is quiet and private at night because the gates from Duval Street are locked at 6pm. Only residents can get in or out with their key.
The reserved numbered parking spot is also a plus since parking is so limited. Just remember to get a parking permit at the guard at the entrance if you check in with a vehicle. The spot could also be used to store a golf cart or a group of bikes. The condo is close to everything on Duval, Historic seaport area and Fort Zachary Beach. We drove to Higgs Beach, Smather's and to a jetski and kayak tour. So many restaurants, bars, and shops close by.
There was also a pool down the road and across the street but it was quite small with only 5-6 loungers so get there early. we were so busy that we only went to the pool twice. The condo also has a grill on the outdoor patio which worked great if you want to cook a meal or two. The top floor has the twin beds. After eating so much, the stairs were good for exercise but just be aware. There is a bathroom on each floor which is very convenient. The washer and dryer also work great and the pull out couch was pretty comfortable too.
Finally, you won't need to bring many items because the condo included beach chairs, pool/beach towels, detergent for the washer, spices, paper towels, hand soap, sponges, blankets, great bath towels and comfortable patio chairs. Everything you need. There was also a welcome key lime pie, nuts, and chocolate in the fridge upon arrival. Very happy with our decision to stay at this condo in the Truman Annex!

Unbeatable Location
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is unbeatable- downtown Key West and within walking distance to everything, yet in a quiet and upscale private neighborhood (Truman Annex). The property backs up to Truman Park on the water, and is a 10 min walk away from the beach at Ft Zachary. It simply does not get any better in the Keys (I've visited over a half a dozen times). The house itself smells new and clean, the furnishings are new, the beds are comfortable, and the kichen is very well equipped. The property management was extremely responsive and the couple minor issues were resolved the same day. I couldn't recommend this place more and we can't wait to be back.

The Perfect Rental
The only place to contact when you want a property to purchase or stay.
Everything was top-notch, the home was perfectly equipped right down to having sunscreen and umbrellas.
The only place to use when traveling to key west.
White glove service is an understatement.
Personal concierge. Anything you need/want, they will take care of.
Worth every penny and then some!

The Perfect Rental
My husband and I love coming down to Key West to fish. This was the perfect rental property for us. In the heart of all of the action, walking distance to so many amazing things Key West has to offer. The property manager was top notch and the rental was so nice and clean.
