Lovely Little Townhouse

Away from busy Duval street but within walking distance from everything. Had a maintenance issue first day which was immediately resolved. Great amenities. Pool was a very nice touch. Great for three couples.

Five Stars!!

Smiling Ibis was better than described in the listing. The location is GREAT, just a few blocks from Duval in a quiet neighborhood setting. Parking was terrific. The house was perfectly clean, with outstanding furnishings and more than enough space for the 6 of us that stayed. Dan, the property manager, was readily available (though we didn't need him for anything) and communicated proactively on the days of arrival and departure. If I were coming back to Key West tomorrow, this is where I would stay again. Five stars across the board. Oh... and the little pool is actually bigger than it looks in the pictures.

Such a great time!

This was perfect for 3 couples. The pool is small but great to go soak after a hot day. The home is beautifully decorated, the beds were comfy, there was 1 parking spot, but we found great parking next to the church if you have more cars. Could walk most places and there was a convenient little corner store 2 doors down. We had a great time and Greg was most helpful!

Great down to the details!

The property was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was very well supplied with all the pots, pans and utensils needed to prepare a meal. It was even supplied with spices and coffee!!!

All around fantastic!

I would recommend this place to anyone heading to Key West, especially with children. The tiny private pool in the back is divine and we thoroughly enjoyed being able to walk to everything so easily. The communication and all of that was great throughout as well. All around a fantastic find!

Great Service!

Stayed at Smiling Ibis and can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our trip! We asked for an air mattress in advance, it was late by the time we set it up and realized there was a leak. Our concierge, Greg had a brand new mattress in the box first thing the next morning. Much appreciated! Also, the sweet treat in the fridge was a classy move??  Would definitely recommend staying here.

Top Notch Stay!

The Smiling Ibis was awesome for our adult winter getaway.  Great location - far enough away from noise, but close to a small grocery store when needed.  3 bedrooms with 3.5 baths was great for 3 couples to have their own bathroom & privacy.  The pool is very small and shaded, so we never went in it.  (Thus- we didn't need to pay the extra money to have it heated in February, but if you have kids, I'm sure they would love the heated pool option).  The Last Key Realty people really know how to make sure you have everything you need.  Always available for questions!!!  Highly recommend to anyone.  Decor was beautiful too.  Very high-quality place!

We absolutely loved this home.

It was immaculate and the beds were comfortable. The pool was wonderful to come home to after a day of sightseeing. Perfect location in the Old Town. We could walk to everything. Would definately come back!

I booked this property for my husband for a surprise birthday weekend for him and our friends. Everything was wonderful from the second we arrived. Our coordinator Greg was so amazing showed us around the property and explained how everything works. He got us in contact with people for bike rentals and even gave us some birthday cupcakes! The place was beautiful, clean, and spacious right in the heart of Key West! 100 percent recommend!

Fabulous Location

Tastefully decorated and can comfortably house 3 couples. Last Key management company excellent in overseeing your stay. Only drawback is properties are VERY close together (it is Key West, remember!), and, with that comes hearing neighboring tenants conversing on their patios and/ or happy kids splashing in their pools. Small price to pay for such a beautiful home with the most convenient walking access to Duval and all the other key sites.

A True Key West Gem!

Outstanding property! Spotlessly clean. All 3 bedrooms have their own private modern bath with an additional half bath on the main floor. Stocked with bottled water, coffee/tea, and spices along with all the comforts of home. Morning coffee on the private lanai & dipping pool (very clean!) was a daily beginning to our day followed by an evening nightcap. Paradise! Sarah, our concierge, made all our reservations for extra activities ahead of our arrival. She was always very accessible & knowledgeable. Greg Murphy, our property manager, greeted us at the house & returned before we ended our stay. He kept in touch with us throughout our visit making sure our stay was going well. Great customer service & the key lime pie was such a treat. We WILL be back & have already told our friends of this gem! Thank you!

A perfect home away from home

The Smiling Ibis was the perfect home away from home for our party of four. The home was beautiful and very well taken care of. Location was perfect, close enough for short strolls in the evening to Mallory Square to enjoy sunsets. Off street parking was definitely a plus. This was my fourth trip to Key West and my first experience renting from Last Key Realty. The whole experience dealing with Last Key Realty was great, very professional and customer focused. Great Stay

Perfect Private Oasis

The Smiling Ibis was amazing! Me and 7 of my family members took a trip to Key West and stayed here. There was so much space to spread out and plenty of bathrooms. We never felt cramped. The amenities were fantastic; the backyard was a perfect private oasis for us. The location was absolutely prime - so close to everything; only a 15 min. walk to several beaches, less than a 10 min. walk to Duval St., but still far enough away that at the end of the day you can go back to a quiet place to sleep. We will definitely be back!

Good location and house for 3 couples

This house is actually better in person than what the photos show and was great for 3 couples staying. A couple of things were missing from house when we arrived (iron, coffee maker) but the management company had these delivered within hours. A few outlets did not work and the front bedroom balcony door could not be opened, but overall it was a perfect spot. Relatively quiet because away from the tourist area, yet totally walkable to everything!

This VRBO was amazing

First, both the property manager and the concierge were helpful, friendly, and professional. The VRBO comes with a concierge which we utilized to book numerous excursions for my adult children and myself. Her recommendations were spot on and we all went on separate ways, so she did an excellent job pairing everyone up with their interests. Next, we ate out every night, but one. We were a group of 6 so dinner over New Years' holiday not easy, but again she was spot on. The house itself is absolutely amazing. It has a gourmet kitchen with all appliances and came with all the basics, including coffee, creamer, Crisco etc. The ceiling throughout the house were tall and all three bedrooms have their own bathroom plus half bath. The beds were all comfortable. The living area is actually larger than it looks in the pictures. The backyard has a built in gas grill and a pool with 4 chaises and a table. We had Greg put the heat on and it was perfect at night when we all returned. The house comes with one parking space and it was so easy getting in and out. There were little touches throughout like a golf umbrella at the door, a bar with wine and champagne flutes. Literally, the most amazing VRBO. I recommend renting this one or it's neighbor without hesitation. Thank you Smiling Ibis for providing one fun filled vacation.

Beautiful oasis in old town

Everything about our stay was perfect. Monique, the property manager, was the absolute best. She greeted us at check-in, we’ve over the property and then left us to enjoy it. Key West Couples Retreat

Fantasy Fest 2019

It was perfect

We stayed at the Smiling Ibis and it was an excellent choice for our group. It was super clean, updated, and well appointed. The outdoor space was to die for. There was a gas grill, a private dip pool (which we used everyday, as it was HOT), and lush greenery. All three bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms, which made each room perfect for privacy. Our host was named Monique, and she was WONDERFUL. There were beautiful flowers and local baked goods waiting for us upon arrival, she arrived early to receive a grocery delivery and made sure everything was put in the refrigerator, and she was incredibly responsive to texts and emails before the trip with questions we had. Also, the location of the property is right in the middle of everything.

Amazing vacation home!

We recently stayed at the Smiling Ibis. This was by far the best home we’ve ever rented. The home is immaculately clean. It is so comfortable with each bedroom having it’s own private bathroom. It’s just a short block to Duval St but far enough away so there is no noise. When we walked in we were shocked at how beautiful it was. The folks at Last Key made sure we had everything we needed. They left a treat for us in the fridge and let us know they were there for us anytime we needed. I would definitely stay again.

The Smiling Ibis in Old Town... IS KEY WEST!!

First off, another shout out to Last Key Realty! This was our second visit to this same property, & just as last time, they took care of us so well, and we were so happy with our property host Keith, that we will never look anywhere else when returning to the island. This "Old Town" property has everything you could need: large main floor living/gathering area connected to a high-end kitchen with wide open floor-plan, well maintained rear deck & private pool, BBQ pit ready to fire up, fully stocked linen closet, and LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. We are literally a minute walk to Duval Street. This place has it all, is always spotlessly cleaned & so welcoming, and you seriously cannot beat the price. Surrounded by a wide variety of bars & restaurants, finding a fun atmosphere for the day is a no-brainer. For a party of 7 adults were not overcrowded at all, and truly, the only thing that could that could make this property any better is if Duval Street was actually inside the house. Ha! Thanks a million Keith!!

Clean, new, well managed and nicely located

Really great stay! New and well managed townhomes. High cielings, new kitchen appliances, new construction! Nice, small heated pool. Convinient locations that's close to everything but also a tucked in a quieter area away from Duval. Management did a great job greeting us and helping throughout our stay! Overall very very happy!

Amazing stay, amazing service

Stayed here recently with some friends and it was a great trip! The house is beautiful, comfortable, and easy to relax in at the end of a long day out exploring the town. It is centrally located, and you can get anywhere you'd want to be with a short bike ride. The Property Manager, Lori, was amazing as well! She was incredibly helpful and very easy to get in touch with whenever I needed her. She met us at the house as soon as we arrived, told us everything we needed to know about the property, and gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, bars, shopping. She even called to reserve bikes for our stay. I can't imagine anyone being more helpful.

If your looking to spend some time in key west I highly recommend you stay here.

Amazing Place and great location!

This place was even better in person then what you will see online! Which is normally the exact opposite. Had all new appliances amenities and interior is all nicely decorated. Walking distance to Duval and just far enough to be away from too much traffic. Our group decided we are going to make it an annual tradition and definitely going to try and stay here again! Customer service was excellent and more than accommodating to any needs we had. I would recommend this place to all my friends!

We had a great time

We decided to go to Key West and we chose a home over a hotel. So glad we did. The townhouse had everything. The pool was great for barbecuing and cocktails day and night. We liked the short walk to Duval and the night life. This house is close enough to bars and restaurants, but far enough to be very quiet. Great location for those who want to stay up late and sleep in, like us. Five stars all the way on this place.

Our private oasis in Key West

The property had everything we needed. Lori was quick to respond to our every question. We enjoyed the privacy that a hotel or BandB couldn't offer.

Modern house in old Key West

What a surprise that this quaint neighborhood had such lovely, new homes!

We were able to walk and bike all around the island and had our first welcome to Key West cocktails at Sloppy Joe's. This place was perfect for us and we loved the little pool area for morning coffee. Lori helped us on how to contact the concierge and some insider local information about the island. I highly recommend Latitudes for lunch. The boat ride out to the restaurant and he view was great during the daylight hours, just as Lori suggested. We will be back again!

The total package

4 of us came down to Key West to enjoy some warmer weather and the best fish sandwich that can be found at Hogfish Bar. We were impressed by the home and by the service that our manager Lori provided. We thought we knew Key West, but she suggested some places that we had not been to. We enjoyed 2 cent and a place up the road called Bobalus, which has the best conch chowder we have ever had. We went to the regular locals that we have always enjoyed like Green Parrot and Fat Tuesdays. Our location was perfect and we only needed our car for groceries and for a few trips. Other than that, we walked everyplace. Great place and great people to deal with.

A great week in a great Key West house

This house has plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. The adjacent bathroom to each bedroom gave us all our privacy. We really enjoyed the proximity to Duval Street and downtown. My wife and I recommend this home to any group that wants to vacation together in a clean and modern home with superior ammenities and excellent customer service.

Beautiful home in Old Town Key West

From the minute we stepped through the door, we new we made the best choice for our long weekend trip to Key West. Plenty of room for us and the pool area was perfect for an afternoon or evening dip to cool off. We rented bikes to get around, since this place is so close to downtown. You do not need a car here. The impressive service provided by Lori, made our stay truly enjoyable.

Home away from home

Beautiful Home & Excellent Service!

The Smiling Ibis is a lovely home that looks exactly like the pictures! It is beautifully decorated and very welcoming. We had 7 in our group and stayed quite comfortably. Almost everything you could want or need is available in the home. There is a generous supply of dishes and glasses, but more matching coffee cups would add to the kitchen. Plastic cups for use around the pool would be a nice touch, but we bought our own so it wasn't a problem. The house was also supplied with lots of starter items like toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc. You don't often find that in a rental property. 

Lori was an excellent property manager throughout our stay! She was there to greet us when we checked in and answer all of our questions. A few minor maintenance issues arose during our stay and not only did Lori answer my calls immediately, she sent Nicki over right away to take care of our concerns. They were both very professional and personable. It is obvious that Lori enjoys her job!

Key West held its usual charm for us with a lovely breakfast at Latitudes on Sunset Key, a delicious dinner at Seven Fish just around the corner from the house, and yummy fish sandwiches at Caroline's. We were a short walk from Duval where we could eat, drink and shop any time we wanted. No trip down Duval is complete without a stop at the Smallest Bar and frozen rum runners at Hog's Breath Saloon! Oh and Island Dogs has the coldest beers in town! 

I highly recommend The Smiling Ibis and Lori with Last Key Realty! The home is great for a gathering of family and friends and Lori knows how to make your stay enjoyable! Thank you, Lori!

THE PERFECT HOME FOR OUR WEEK IN KEY WEST!

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home during our week in Key West. It was sparkling clean and very well maintained with superior amenities.  We walked almost everywhere even though we had a car. It was close to shopping, restaurants, Duval Street and Hemmingway House. We felt safe wherever we went. Close to the busy atmosphere of Old Town, we were far enough away to enjoy this quiet oasis. Lori was fantastic and very helpful and I would definitely recommend her and Last Key Reality to help you with your vacation rental in Key West.

Perfect home!

We had 6 friends meet for a "girls only" long weekend (5 days). The house was a perfect location and we could walk to Duval and many of the beaches. Lori was very helpful and had the groceries ready for us when we came in. The cocktail pool was perfect for afternoon relaxation.

We were in a fight pattern so could hear a lot of airplanes overhead but we got used to it quickly.

The best of everything is right here!

This home has the best of everything!!! Best location, best interior, best equipped kitchen and the best manager!!!! Lori went so above and beyond for us! Her suggestions for fun things to do and restaurants were the perfect fit. I simply can't say enough great things about our Key West experience here. Truly a perfect vacation!

Awesome place!!!

We really enjoyed the house and the location was perfect! Smokin' Tuna, Green Parrot and Lazy Gecko are favorites. Blue Heaven for breakfast is always a must do on our list when we come down. Definitely recommend this company for it's great service!

Great home is a super location

We really enjoyed our stay. This is a beautiful and very well kept home! We received excellent customer service from our guest manager Lori, who also assisted us with the reservation process as well. The pool was small, but very private. The back patio did give us enough outdoor space to relax and enjoy ourselves. The close proximity to our favorite restaurants and pubs made this place the perfect choice for us. We highly recommend this home to everyone looking for a top notch rental property, in the heart of downtown Key West.

Loved staying here!

Loved staying in this home! We have always stayed in hotels and decided to try a house rental instead. So glad we did! Beautifully furnished and we enjoyed having a kitchen, grill and our own pool. We explored places in Key West, new and old. 2 cent is a favorite as is Bo's Fish Wagon. The customer service we received from Lori was excellent. We are already talking about our next trip to Key West and plan to use Last Key again.

Fantastic house and location!!!

Absolutely wonderful stay, walking distance to everything, although just relaxing at the house was amazing too! Will definitely stay again! Lori followed up right after we landed to ensure everything was great, and was very responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Couples get away to Key West

This home was perfect for our trip to Key West. The inside was colorful, clean and full of Key West charm! Our stay was far too short, but we plan to visit again and will certainly use Last Key Realty. We are fans of Seven Fish restaurant and A & B Lobster House. Always a perfect meal at either place. A big thank you to Lori, for returning the items we forgot in the home.
