Villa Cubana

Villa Cubana is an oasis just a block and a half away from all the wonder and madness of Duval Street. A two-story atrium above the living room gives this cozy home the illusion of spaciousness. It seems small but makes good use of every little space. In fact it may be the most thoroughly well equipped rental property among three dozen+ places we've encountered. Downside? Hot water takes an unbelievably long time to arrive. That's it!

10/10 experience vacationing for my first time in Key West with Last Key! A few days before my trip, they notified me that the AC was broken in the property I booked originally, and were extremely helpful in relocating me to an even better location with all of the same amenities. When we arrived to Key West, our property manager Alena communicated the exact instructions for our property and immediately responded when we had questions. We loved staying in a private courtyard with our own pool steps from the door, and 2 minutes from Duval Street.  The property was beautiful, clean, and there was even a rum cake waiting on the counter for us when we walked in. Last Key went above and beyond, and I can’t thank you enough for making our trip so special!

House was stocked with everything we could possibly need, made you feel like you were at home with all the personal touches. We were checked on numerous times and asked if we needed anything or was there anything they could do to help us plan an excursion.  Had an issue with a/c and maintenance was at our unit within 10 minutes and fixed it in a matter of minutes.   Customer service is AMAZING!!! Will definitely use Last Key Realty again!

Great location. Unfortunately we did not have hot water for 24 hrs. They came and replaced a broken water heater. The fire alarm’s battery need to be replaced the first night and chirped all night.
The upstairs bed is getting

Villa Cubana is in an excellent location. Easy walk to our favorite restaurants (Blue Heaven, Moon Dog) and, if really tired, speedy Uber to/from Mallory Square. Just off Truman St. but a quiet oasis of townhomes around the wonderful pool. Beautifully decorated with everything furnished we could possibly have needed. (Maybe add a Keurig?) Very comfy beds and pillows. Our daughter and son-in-law used the upstairs suite and the main floor king bedroom with a walk-in shower was perfect for us. The highlight of the week was seaplane for a morning at the Dry Tortugas.

The villa had everything we needed and more. The compound is very quiet and private even though it is right in the middle of Old Town. We never had to use our car as we could walk or bike everywhere we wanted to go. The management was very friendly and communicative and answered any questions we had right away. This is a beautiful villa just 1 1/2 blocks from Duval Street. The villa had everything we needed and more. The compound is very quiet and private even though it is right in the middle of Old Town. We changed to this rental the week we were to leave due to not knowing where we should stay and it looked nice and had awesome reviews. Now I know why. Greg and Lake realty were very informative and communicated to ensure everything was good and there were no needs. The concierge was awesome. Beth assisted with providing information and arranging all of our activities. Definitely a little piece of quiet paradise in the midst of a busy island. Loved it and will definitely be returning to this location in the future.

The concierge service that helped us plan our activities made recommendations that were spot on (such as Jet Skis in the evening when the water is calmer). I'm sure that we missed out on some of the full Key West experience due to the Covid-19 restrictions in place across the island, but that made it even more important that the house was an enjoyable place to stay and it fit the bill perfectly. The house was beautiful and comfortable for a family of four and the pool was great for relaxing and cooling off. We just fell in love with Key West during our visit and can't wait to return, and this will be the first place we look to stay.

The two beds in the bedroom on the first floor were perfect for my elderly family because they never had to go upstairs. Layout was great. We liked how the property was very easy to access, and in a gated community which added an additional layer of security. The host had sent us directions and instructions to enter the property since we were arriving late. Location ideal and although close to Duval St. was quiet and we enjoyed the pool. Hardly anyone ever using it the same time as we were so like our own. Upon arrival, there was a bottle of Prosecco and a key lime pie to welcome us. Coffee, creamer had been provided and anything needed for cooking including spices were stocked. This was so helpful and we were very appreciative of this thoughtfulness. This is a perfect condo in a perfect location. Very close to Duval Street and a lot of nice restaurants. Condo itself is very well-stocked. It really couldn’t be any nicer. The washer and dryer comes in handy. It has a very nice pool area.

Last Key did a great job for us. The agent met us at the rental, all the lights had been turned on, and he showed us how things worked and how to get ahold of him if we needed to. There were notebooks with activities their concierge would arrange and one for restaurants. I have rented in Key West for many years and this was the best service we have ever received.

This was our fourth stay at Villa Cubana so you can probably understand that the reason we keep returning is because it is so wonderful. The house has excellent quality furnishings and all the equipment you could possibly need (and more). The house is in a private compound of approx. 14 houses, with a shared pool, designated car parking space and security entrance. Windward Park is situated on the main road into Key West (Truman Avenue) so it is easy to find and get anywhere. It is a short walk from Duval Street, so you are near to everything in Key West. Although you are near to the life and soul of Key West and on a busy road, the only noise we heard was the sound of emergency service vehicles' sirens (very occasionally) and when people were using the pool. We did experience one minor problem. Villa Cubana has the luxury of its own laundry in the back patio and on the night we arrived (a Saturday, and after having already been in Florida for 10 days) we wanted to do some laundry. We put the dirty laundry on to wash but when it came to drying it, the dryer wasn't working. We called our co-ordinator (Greg), who arranged for a mechanic to visit to call but he didn't come until Tuesday and then couldn't fix it. Greg kindly arranged to have our laundry dried and later offered to arrange to have our laundry done whilst we waited for a replacement dryer. We opted not to have our laundry done as we could manage with what we had but the replacement dryer never arrived until Friday, when we were leaving the next day. We managed to get some more laundry done before leaving. Greg was very helpful throughout our stay, not just with the laundry saga, and the welcome gifts in the house were a lovely touch. Prior to arriving in Florida I contacted the concierge for recommendations on helicopter tours. I received a recommendation and followed up with Air Adventures direct as I had queries relating to my mobility issues. I did fly with Air Adventures and have to say it was the highlight of my visit to Key West, so thanks for the recommendation.

We have rented from other companies before and have always had to pick the key up at a different locale which is always bothersome after a long day of traveling and 3 kids in tow. With the full-service (free!) concierge service, they are able to do just about anything you need them too. Prior to our arrival they coordinated bike rentals, a crib rental and gave us recommendations for a bakery as we were celebrating birthdays down there. We even were greeted with some bubbly and cookies! Greg, met us on departure day as well and even, personally, held our luggage for us until we had to leave for the airport. Greg and Last Key Realty could not have been more accommodating.

  Villa Cubana is absolute perfection! We have been visiting Key West for 20 years and this was by far our favorite trip! We stayed during Spring Break time with our three young kids and we could not have asked for a better vacation. The townhouse is one of 13 surrounding a big, beautiful pool. The pool was never crowded, in fact, we had it to ourselves most mornings. The townhouse has two large porches (one up, one down) and were great for morning coffee, or wine and cocktails at night. The 1200SF+ of living area inside is luxury accommodations in our book. The first floor has a living room with beautiful furniture and a flat screen tv. It was a great place to relax after being outside all day and the furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen and dining area are right off the living room and had everything you need to cook and enjoy even the most complicated of meals. The 5 of us fit great around the dining table and the kitchen was beautiful with higher end appliances and all the pots, pans, utensils,etc. you need. There is a beautifully updated large full bath on the 1st floor as well and a bedroom where our boys slept. We used the bedroom as 2-twin beds, however they are able to combine them as 1-king as well. Off the bedroom is a really nice, private porch where the BBQ and washer and dryer (such a bonus when traveling with kids!) are located. The master bedroom with full bath is located on the second floor and is super peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room to fit the crib for our youngest. Another bonus about renting this townhouse, is that it is managed by Last Key Realty. Greg, met us at the villa upon arrival with the key and gave us a quick tour of the property. The 5 of us fit great around the dining table and the kitchen was beautiful with higher end appliances and all the pots, pans, utensils,etc. you need. There is a beautifully updated large full bath on the 1st floor as well and a bedroom where our boys slept. We used the bedroom as 2-twin beds, however they are able to combine them as 1-king as well. Off the bedroom is a really nice, private porch where the BBQ and washer and dryer (such a bonus when traveling with kids!) are located. The master bedroom with full bath is located on the second floor and is super peaceful and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room to fit the crib for our youngest. Another bonus about renting this townhouse, is that it is managed by Last Key Realty. Greg, met us at the villa upon arrival with the key and gave us a quick tour of the property. We have rented from other companies before and have always had to pick the key up at a different locale which is always bothersome after a long day of traveling and 3 kids in tow. With the full-service (free!) concierge service, they are able to do just about anything you need them too. Prior to our arrival they coordinated bike rentals, a crib rental and gave us recommendations for a bakery as we were celebrating birthdays down there for us. We even were greeted with some bubbly and cookies! Greg, met us on departure day as well and even, personally, held our luggage for us until we had to leave for the airport. Greg and Last Key Realty could not have been more accommodating. The location of the villa on Truman Ave is ideal...walkable to Duval, Southernmost point, restaurants, shops, beach, bars, etc. We are ready to book our next visit!

I have been going to KW for many years and I don't recall staying in a place as nice as this one. The furniture, the appliances, decor were all above average. One of my pet peeves is dull knives for cooking. This place had a nice set of sharp knives.

We dealt with Shel who was both welcoming and well-informed. The unit also comes with a concierge service that, if needed, can cater to pretty much an request. We did not wind up using them but did have contact with them to receive information about the area and things to do and they were very, very helpful. Shel even offered to go grocery shopping for us prior to our arrival! The kitchen comes fully stocked with all pots, pans, plates you may need. There is even sunblock, aloe, hairdryers, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, etc. in the unit. It was truly a home away from home! We are looking at coming back next year and staying at this lovely Villa Cubana home-away from home!! Thank you for making this mother-daughter vacation so amazing!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our week in this beautifully equipped and appointed condo. It's location in center of town near Duval St. meant we could walk to a number of places and leave the car in their parking lot.All amenities were provided for cooking , grilling etc. and the pool area was clean and refreshing. We would recommend this condo for 2-4 people . The master bedroom is on upper level with many stairs so we used smaller main floor bedroom which worked out fine. All in all a 5 star rating

We have traveled all around the world, and we have stayed in very expensive resorts from the Ritz to the Standbury in NYC, but this vacation rental completely blew us away. The Last Key rental concierge began our vacation even before it started. The concierge service was in constant contact with us to ensure all our needs would be met. They surpassed any concierge service we have experienced. They were always friendly and took care of all our needs. They booked fantastic excursions, and made our dining reservations at some of the most fabulous restaurants. We were traveling with our son (15) and our daughter(13). The Villa was so quant and perfectly decorated. The kitchen was stocked for any cooking needs. They even left us a key lime pie to welcome us. Wow! After an extremely long travel day, it was so nice to actually enter into a beautiful and relaxing place. We felt right at home instantly! The Villas were all adorable and they surround a beautiful little pool. It was very quiet, and just steps from the action on Duval. We really would describe it as the perfect vacation. The kids stayed in two twin beds downstairs, and we stayed in the gorgeous master suite upstairs. Any questions that we had during our trip where addressed and taken care of immediately. I absolutely recommend this vacation home to any one that wants to have a nice easy vacation in Key West. Thank you Last Key Realty for your superb services.
