A+ All Around

Beautiful condo with gorgeous views of the ocean from a wraparound balcony. Very well stocked with the little things that matter, such as cooking utensils, beach towels, extra bath towels, blankets, and even night lights. Easy to access all of Key West from a golf cart. The concierge service was super helpful with booking reservations in advance and storing luggage.

Fun First Time

Had a fantastic time in Key West thanks to the property and the group, 6 adults, all first timers and we had a blast. Direct Ocean View

This place was excellent. It is a very clean spacious 3-bedroom unit on the end of the building providing direct views of the ocean. There is a pool area on the property and a private beach. The guest coordinator does an excellent job of making sure you have everything needed.

Perfection

A Fabulous Multi-Generational Stay

We were celebrating multiple significant birthdays and anniversaries in our family during our week long stay. The condo is everything you see in the pictures. We loved that each bedroom as well as the living room had access to the large balcony. At the time of year we were here (Thanksgiving week) we had access to both sunrise and sunsets from the balcony.

 

The condo had all the necessities we needed during our stay. The pool area was wonderful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The heated pool was actually a little warm (88 degrees). The beach area adjacent to the pool was affected by hurricane Ian and some of the sand washed away and debris came ashore - nothing that the condo could do about that, but they were trying to clean it up.

 

The location was great although not in town. Most restaurants were 2 miles away, but either Uber or using your own car were no issue. Such a great place for multi-generations to spend a week together. The management company was always available 24-7 to assist with any issues (which we did not have). We would recommend this condo to friends and family and anyone that wants a beautiful view to wake up to and enjoy each day.

Overall Great Trip

Very nice property with amazing views. Right on the water. Only negative was it was a little far away from all the Key West activities. We rented a golf cart and that made up for the distance instead of trying to walk.

nicer than the pictures!

reat place to stay in key west- my husband and i brought our parents down (60-70s) and was very accessible, great location with pool and beach. the only thing is it is a bike ride or uber away from duval street but for our purposes of relaxing and being out of the bustle, it was perfect. they have good concierge and communication and the place was clean and nicer than even in the pictures!

All Around Fabulous!

We loved every moment!

Wonderful. As pictured, though the photos don't do the view justice!  It was a surprise just how beautiful the view is and how much balcony there is. It’s quiet and peaceful, and somewhat away from the party scene (though Duval Street is a quick car/bike ride away- it’s a small island). Fully appointed with everything you need, including beach towels, chairs, bath towels, linens. There’s also a pretty large kitchen with pots, pans, glasses, mugs, toaster, coffee makers (drip, Keurig, AND French press), etc. We were able to cook several times. Laura from Last Key went above and beyond in terms of responsiveness, and the whole Last Key crew was amazing. They proactively reached out several times leading up to and during the trip, as well, to make sure that we understood the check-in procedure, etc. There’s a lovely pool on the property, and quite a large hot tub that you can access if you’re into that sort of thing. There are a lot of pool chairs and a private sandy area/beach as well.

A comfortable condo with a terrific view

This 3 bedroom unit was perfect for our group. It was nicely updated, spacious, and comfortable. The views from every room were awesome. This unit is at the end of the building closest to the water which made the views all the better. We were in town for a wedding and this condo was right by the ceremony.

 

Last Key Realty manages this property and I highly recommend them. Our property manager Laura was attentive and helpful. They also provide a concierge service free of charge. Our concierge Sarah gave us great advice and helped us to book a fantastic bay fishing trip. I would highly recommend this listing.

Loved it soooo much!

We stayed at Windswept Palms on Atlantic Blvde and it was absolutely breathtaking. Laura was our point of contact and she was so helpful and timely with responses. The rooms were so clean, and fully stocked. They provided us with beach towels, beach chairs and laundry detergent. The balcony views were stunning and I loved the fact it wrapped around the condo and the large windows. I will be staying there again I loved it soooo much.

Loved the giant balcony!

My family got together and stayed at the property for three nights. We loved it; the photos are all accurate and it was a perfect space for us. We cooked several full meals, the kitchen is very functional and well equipped. Loved the giant balcony! Well stocked for linens, towels, beach and pool toys, etc. Unit is close to the pool and parking. Would stay again!

AHmazing!

Breathtaking View and Incredible Stay!

One of the best places I ever stayed

The accommodations were amazing!

The view is spectacular. The residence was spotless. The bedrooms were spacious, beds comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked w/ all cooking needs if desired. The responsiveness of Last Key was quick and thorough. The pool and spa was beautiful, readily accessible and easy to access. The proximity to Duval was easy by a beautiful walk, or simple Uber or taxi. The grounds were all Covid responsible. Highly recommend this incredible property.

What a fantastic place!

The condo is awesome and made for a great family gathering. The location is on the quiet/residential side of the island, but the bars and nightlife are an easy Uber ride away. Best service we've ever had!

 

The Best 5-star Concierge service we have ever had! These guys are amazing from start to finish...they furnished everything you need, got back to you with any issues promptly and even give amazing extras like a free Key Lime Pie waiting in the refrigerator when we go there! The place itself was the Windswept Key located on 1800 Atlantic Blvd., right next to Smather's beach in Key West and it as top notch as it gets, with a fully updated interior, high-end furnishings, a full wrap around balcony and views that are absolutely stunning! The only one thing I will say on a more down to earth note is that you may not want to go to that part of Key West during the hottest time of the year, since it was a scorcher this June and that made the dead seaweed give off a very heavy sulfur smell that was very prominent in that part of town.

Birthday Celebration in Key West

 

I chose Key West to host 6 of us for my birthday this month. I really wanted a special place where all of us could room together in a spacious environment. Windswept palms was the PERFECT answer. The condo was updated and very clean with every amenity we could ask for. The concierge even helped me arrange a person chef to make a private dinner in the condo for my birthday. The property manager, Laura Mayesing was very helpful in answering my questions. When we arrived, she met us at the property and went over all the details and provided a tour. The unit has a very helpful binder that goes over all the details that you need know. I rarely used it as Laura was always available via text or phone call to answer any questions. I am beyond thrilled and my quests loved the property as much as I did. The pool area is lovely and very well maintained. I will use Last Key Reality every time I visit, and look forward to renting other properties that they manage all over the island.

You won't be disappointed!

 

Key West was on my bucket list so I went for my 50th with hubby and parents that were also on their bday trip. The condo was perfect! Wrap around deck has views from all the rooms. Very well stocked and maintained. Clean! Laura met us there and gave us many tips on the area that they have well planned out in a book for you. Laura texted to see if all was good which was nice. Even had my first Key Lime Pie thanks to her! The island is only a mile and half wide so easy Uber or walking distance. We were very happy with the location being away from Duval Street as it is fun, but also very noisy and crowded. We were there with 3 cruise ships one day! The location of the condo is wonderful to go down to the hustle and then back to quiet to sleep and relax. The condo is near a beach that rents water sports so there is still activity around that is fun to watch in the morning. Condo is also near small market which was nice. Windswept Palms is a first class condo! If we get down that way again would love to stay there. If anyone is even considering this condo do it! You won't be disappointed!

Loved the experience

Great Family Vacation!

Our family of six (my husband and I and our two adult sons and their girlfriends) spent a week in February at Windswept Palms unit C340. I cannot even describe the beauty of this condo-the balcony being the highlight for us! Duval Street is just a quick, easy Uber ride but far enough away to give you a tropical vacation feel. We can’t say enough about Laura Mayesing, our Last Key Realty agent. She greeted us our first day with fixings for mimosas and Kermit’s Key Lime pie (yum!) and checked in with us throughout the week to see if we needed anything. She even met us at the beach to bring us a volleyball when I asked if she knew where we could find one, making for a fun afternoon on the beach! We would not hesitate to recommend Last Key Realty, Windswept Palms and especially Laura to anyone looking for the perfect Key West vacation!

Last Key is just a well-oiled customer service machine

First, let me start with the myriad "pros" of working with Last Key and what a terrific group of people they have on the team. From the beginning of the search/reservation process, until check-out, everyone was a delight. A first class company with a commitment to ensuring a superlative guest experience. I'd like to specifically recognize Alex (who booked us and also fixed a mistake I made by scheduling our check-out on a day when we were on a seaplane trip to Dry Tortugas National Park), to Jeremy and Cecily at the concierge service who helped us with all kinds of trips, charters, and updated restaurant info because we'd been away for five years, and last but not least Laura our on-site coordinator who bent over backwards to help us with everything from great spots on the way down from Miami to one of the best Key West blues/rock bars we've experienced since first coming here first in the early seventies: "The Smokin' Tuna". (We're originally from Chicago, so no, it's not Buddy Guy's Legends, but it's not Sloppy Joe's or Margaritaville either, so it was much-appreciated". Laura is tops!

As to the condo, it almost took this down to a 4-star review, but the people were so good, we're leaving it at 5. The view is amazing, but 1800 Atlantic has been around for a long time and the HOA clearly has not felt the need to invest in upgrading the level of finish in the common areas of the buildings or the property.; it candidly feels a little "stale". The furnishings in this unit are clean and comfortable, but you honestly don't expect plywood platform beds, IKEA furnishings, and a pretty low-end kitchen (cookware and knives only - appliances were top tier), so this is not a place for anyone who loves preparing gourmet meals.....unfortunately we do, and couldn't.

October getaway

The Condo was just as described, it is newly remodel in a modern look. The appliances were all high grade. The rooms were nicely sized and all had a wonderful view with sliding doors to wrap around patio right above the water. There is no onsite staff at the condo, other than a security team but the Last Key Realty folks were wonderful and super helpful - Highly recommended them. The location is not near many of the attractions but it is an easy car ride from all the hot spots. We used Uber for most of travels around the island and found it easy and readily available at all hours. All in all, a great quite place with an amazing view!

Best spot in Key West

Beautiful, modern condo with amazing views. This quiet complex was the perfect balance for our fun filled week. Renting thru Last Key Resort rental was a wonderful experience. Shannon and her team are amazing! She greated us at our condo with detailed information to make sure our stay was a success. The condo was equipped with the necessities to get us started. The accommodations were great and a perfect location. What a great way to start the morning with a cup of coffee watching the sunrise. My jaw hit the floor upon entry to this condo, it exceeded my expectations I felt like I was in a dream, it is very clean, the floor to ceiling windows provided amazing views, it is well stocked with everything you would need including pool floats. there is a private beach, pool, and jacuzzi, covered pavilions, picnic tables and grills... Amazing! We're going back!

The condo was amazing! The veiws from every bedroom were postcard perfect. We began and ended each day on the balcony. Watching the pelicans, seagulls, cranes and egrets was awesome. There's the pool (which is exceptionally clean) or a 1 block walk to the beach. The full time residents were warm and friendly. If you're a northerner this is always a surprise. We are already planning our next trip back!

Key West Windswept Palms #340

What an amazing property at Windswept Palms. This beautiful 3 bedroom condo was the perfect accommodation for our group of 3 couples. Unit 340 was an end unit with a wrap-around deck overlooking the ocean. The large glass doors from each bedroom and the living area offered sweeping views of the ocean and easy access to relaxing on the deck. The property had a beautiful pool and hot tub area that was daily maintained and secured; and also included a nice indoor shower and sauna, and a picnic area with several grills. The property location was perfect: just far enough away from the craziness of Duvall St; but close enough to get to all the sites by walking or bicycles. We rented bikes for a week and never used our rental car. Day or night, we rode bikes to all the sites and dining. Shannon with Last Key Resorts, who manages this condo, was top notch in meeting us and getting us settled in the condo. Of all the various types of lodging - high end resorts, hotels, B&Bs, motels, rooms - this was the perfect location and accommodation for us. We all agreed that our stay at Windswept Palms 340 far exceeded our expectations and we look forward to returning. We HIGHLY recommend this unit.

Excellent accommodations! Excellent view!

What an excellent place to stay. Accommodations were very clean, spacious, and the view was amazing! And by that I meant the view was amazing from any room in the condo! I'm not sure there is a better place to stay on Key West. The wrap around balcony was great.... always a breeze and a great place to sit and relax. The condo is supplied with everything you need.... plenty of cookware, towels, etc., etc. Very nice pool and hot tub. You are located right next to Smathers Beach and a short drive or bike ride to Duval Street.... close to everything. This is all great....... but I really want to express how impressed we were with Shannon. She was standing outside in the hot sun waiting on us as we arrived to check in. She made sure we had parking for our large SUV, showed us around our condo, answering any questions we had and making sure we had everything we needed. She spent time providing us with great places to eat, things to see, where to park when out an about, etc. etc. She text my wife throughout the vacation making sure all was well and always asked if we needed anything. The day we were checking out she stopped by for a visit to make sure it was as we expected and if we had any suggestions. I've rented various accommodations via VRBO and HomeAway..... but never experienced this level of service. Thank you so much Shannon! We will definitely be visiting Key West and staying at this property again.

Redefining the OCEANFRONT Luxury Condo

As I write this we are on day 5 of a 7 day vacation and this condo is one of a kind. 270 degree premium ocean-view from this condo is an understatement!!!  This unit is OCEANFRONT UNOBSTRUCTED, unless you count the beautiful foliage from the Palm tree(s) overlapping the wrap-around balcony...From the kitchen you see the oceanfront, from the living room you see the oceanfront... Of course the (3) bedrooms offer oceanfront... This is literally a million dollar condo ideally situated at the end of the third floor!!! It should come with a 100% money back satisfaction guarantee... From a FULL high-end kitchen to complete washer / dryer units you will want for nothing... Agency provided items not expected but greatly appreciated such as detergent, fabric softener, paper towels, bathroom tissue, hand soap, and even coffee filters... An over-abundance of towels and wash cloths sets the level of expectation... every accessory in this unit was fully functional and ready for use!!! Multiple television units broadcasting premium channels in high definition. JUST COME AND SEE FOR YOURSELF, words can not express what a true vacation experience this condo provides... Did I mention key card gated parking, onsite security, and key only entry into the building!!!

Absolutely beautiful.

We were very happy with Windswept Palms. Caryn met us at the complex to give us the keys, show us around and answer any of our questions. She was very helpful. At the end of our stay, Caryn asked if we had any recommendations to make the place even better for the next guests. We made a few suggestions, but the place was great. The kitchen was very nice. The beds were comfortable. The living room was comfortable. All of it was wonderful, but the most amazing part was the view and the balcony. I would have loved to spend all of my time sitting out there (although there was a foul smell blowing from somewhere that made the outdoors not quite as inviting...we got used to it.). The biggest problem with the whole place was that it is so wonderful, we all felt content just to hang out there. We had to force ourselves out at times to do other things.

Windswept Palms is the perfect name. While sitting on the balcony, a gentle breeze was blowing which rustled the Palm branches that hang right next to the balcony.

I highly recommend this unit to anyone visiting Key West.

Great location with outstanding views!

The unit was very clean and well appointed.  All the utensils you need and upgraded appliances. Lacking in food storage space, some cabinets or a full pantry would be nice. Plenty of room for everyone and the washer and dryer was a great extra benefit. The secure parking was also nice since we had four motorcycles we didn't want to leave out in the open.

Caryn with Last Key Realty was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend Last Key and this unit for a great getaway!

Beautiful condo with SPECTACULAR views!

We celebrated a friends 40th Birthday and upon arrival were beyond thrilled with Caryn and the condo. You can see the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening all from your own deck. The rooms are very spacious with plenty of room to relax and enjoy your time in Key West. I would highly recommend this condo! Thanks again Caryn for everything!!! Hope to see you again soon. :)

Fabulous 3-Bedroom Condo on the Ocean in Key West

We took our family(total 6 of us) to Windswept Palms over Thanksgiving. The condo was perfect for 3 couples. The deck was expansive and provided lots of private spaces for sitting and watching the pelicans and/or sunrise and sunset. Inside has a comfortable sitting area and dining table. There is one parking space where we put our 6 bicycles and it was easy getting in and out.  Condo's kitchen is well-stocked; we cooked one meal in---and did fish on the grills provided next to the pool area. They were clean and the condo provides charcoal. Bedrooms were very nice and the master has a giant shower. The condo is not in "downtown" Key West, but it is an easy bike ride to anywhere you might want to go, with the exception of the big grocery stores; you might want to consider using your rental car to do an initial shopping then fill in at local markets. Bedding and linens were plentiful and nice. Pool and hot tub were also nice. There is no "outside bar" as you might have at a resort but that was not an issue. All in all it was a great experience. The concierge was very helpful with contact information and Caryn was as well. Cabs know exactly where this place is and arrive almost instantaneously. You can also leave the condo and walk the beach close by.I guess the only negative would be that one of the elevators did not work while we were there and the hallway carpeting could probably use a shampoo.  Nothing that would deter me from returning to this great spot.

Outstanding. Could not be better.

Caryn, was wonderful to deal with. She met us at the condo and took us to our unit. Showed us around and made sure we were all set and answered any questions we had. The unit was beautiful not to say anything about the view. You will love your stay if you go. We hope to return next year.

Perfect Beachside Stay

My family and I stayed here for 5 days and couldn't have been happier with the condo or the service provided by the Last Key team. The pictures of this place were so impressive we were sceptical the real thing would live up to expectations but upon arrival found it to be even better than advertised.

The view from the wrap around balcony was amazing! In the winter months you can see the sun rise and set without ever leaving the condo. The condo, pool area, and surrounding property were all extremely well kept.

We also found the service provided by Last Key Realty to be excellent. Caryn was especially helpful from the time we showed up to the time we left. She even returned a forgotten item to us after we left which we hadn't yet realized was missing. They really helped to facilitate a great vacation!

Amazing Key West Condo Experience

 My family of four stayed here for spring break. My two teenagers appreciated there own rooms in a very spacious three bedroom unit. Views were perfect with panoramic views able see both sunrise and sunset and pool and beach views. The picture are accurate with a contemporary beach feel and nice details not often seen in a rental property. Can tell owners put care into the recently redone property.

Property management company very helpful with checking in, questions along the way, and flexibility in a late check out with evening flight day of departure.

Highly recommended!

Excellent condition and great access to the ocean.

Perfect location with ocean views from all the rooms. Interior amenities wonderful and well maintained. Great large pool and hot tub. Easy 5 minute trip to downtown Key West and Duval St.

Customer service was great with infor on area attractions. We would definitely recommend this unit to others.

Gorgeous Condo and Amazing Views!!

I have come to realize after planning numerous vacations for my family that booking a fabulous or unique lodging can make all the difference. When I saw this condo on VRBO I knew this was the one for us and when we walked through the doors I was not disappointed. To see the look on my family's face when they saw it was priceless! My husband and 2 sons, ages 17 and 21 were in awe and how amazing it was and just loved it. The rooms were all super comfortable and each with this incredible view of the ocean and so convenient to be right on Smather's beach. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The bathrooms are amazing! The owners put so much attention to detail and comfort of their guests in this lovely condo - we appreciated that so much. To add to our enjoyment, we got to awaken each morning to a huge iguana in the palm tree right off our balcony. My son, who has a great sense of humor, named him "Reggie". We had a very memorable 7 night stay and it was tough to leave this condo and Reggie! I highly recommend staying here!

Great property and location away from noise and traffic of Duval Street

Positives:

Great location away from hustle and bustle of Duval St but real close on the scooters we rented.

Great Views from the 3rd floor.

Property was very nice and guest services was very responsive to 2 needs during our stay. 

Covered parking was a plus for the scooters we rented to tour the island.  (Our SUV had to be parked outside due to height.)

All members of the family (24 years +) enjoyed the property as well as the pool, spa and outside grills available.

Negative, but not enough to prevent me from going back:

Frosted panes on bedroom doors allows a good bit of light into bedrooms when others are still up watching TV with lights on if you are early to bed. (We like a really dark room for sleeping.)

Sound travels easily due to the tiled floors. Late-nighters have to be quiet.

A dream

The condo was everything it was advertised to be and more! Absolutely gorgeous! Shannon was fabulous, somehow figuring out how to cater to us, but not bother us. When I come back to the Keys, I will DEFINITELY stay here again. We explored a lot of the island and I can't imagine there is anyplace in the Keys that is as nice as Windswept Palms!

This condo was all we had hoped for

This condo was even better than the description. We have traveled a lot and this condo was the best we have stayed in. I think I could have stayed on the deck for the entire week! The location is great. It is set apart from the city but it is still walkable. Windswept Palms is the perfect place to do as much as you want or as little as you want.

This condo is even nicer than the pictures show. The views from every room are amazing!

We couldn't have been happier when Shannon let us in to the condo. The ocean views are amazing! This unit is right on the water and everywhere you looked you saw the ocean. There was plenty of different seating areas on the balcony too. The bedrooms were perfect, the kitchen had everything we needed and the living room was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, beach towels provided!

Overall, this is one of the nicest places we've ever rented.

Shannon made sure we had everything we needed and really helped us out. We hated to leave but if we return to Key West we will stay here again.

Excellent views and accommodations

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the 3rd floor had excellent views of the ocean and beach as well as the pool area. All three bedroom had sliders to the views and the wrap-around porch allowed for great sea-breeze lounging or lunches. The pool was very large and well maintained. Key West is small enough that rented bikes for the week made it easy to travel around and see most of what there was to see. The condo was nicely equipped and the furnishings and televisions were also very nice. The kitchen was well-stocked with most everything we needed. The bathrooms and showers were great. We really enjoyed the trip and would consider staying in the same place again. As is the case for much of Key West, the beach at the condo was too rocky to use but it is close to a couple of good beaches.
